1978 Lada 1500. As you can see they had a very pedestrian design. They came with two fuel tanks, One for gasoline, the other for Vodka.  This tank was for the occupants of the vehicle who needed a drink while waiting for help after the car broke down. And the other reason for the Vodka Tank was a supplement to the Gas Tank when it ran empty.  Forward thinking by the maker of the Lada (export only) and the Zhiguli (home market), both  were manufactured by Auto-Vaz. 

The point we want to get across is this. GM is emerging from bankruptcy and according to the article in the WSJ written by Paul Ingrassia, the average wage of the new GM will be $15 per hour from $28 per hour. There is one thing that needs highlighting, that is the total compensation under its amended contract is between $50 to $55 per hour.  You the American taxpayer is now on the hook to pay these Democratic Union Loyalist $30 per hour for salary and benefits more  than the average American worker. You say wait a minute, this can not be true, but after you take a few aspirins to treat your head ache you will realize the sham being played on you. They sold this bankruptcy takeover by the U.S governenment who now owns 60% of GM (that is why it is now owned by Government) to the taxpayer after forking over 50 BILLION  DOLLARS to bail them out.


We at TNBTP need your help.  We ask that you boycott GM. Do not buy any automobiles from them unless they are given to you by the Governenment for free. After all you are the owner, and owners have rights, you are entitled to a freebie. Basically we want them to go bankrupt for good, the direction they are headed anyway. They will not be able to survive in the competitive landscape of today. By not buying a product from them, they will head to the "too big to fail cemetery" for good. The pain will be a lot shorter and you the taxpayer will feel good about it at the funeral. The Eulogy will be given by WE THE PEOPLE, THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER. "MAY GM REST IN PEACE".  What has to happen to all government sponsored, owned, partially owned institutions is to get them our of our lives for good. They are socialists propagating machines with a Marxist philosophy, intent on having the American Taxpayer who works in private industry to pay the Bill.  It is about time you stood up and RAN OVER THEM like they have Ran OVER YOU the past 5 decades.
