THE SECOND REVOLUTIONARY WAR

The 1st Revolutionary War took hold in the Great State of Massachusetts.  It was precipitated by the mandate that the Colonies be governed by Great Britain without Representation.  But Revolutionaries from the 13th original Colonies had other ideas. They set up the Second Continental Congress and formed a Continental Army.  Britain called them Traitors. The States went into Rebellion and fought the British for over a year. States formed Militias who fought the British Troops in the first Military Engagements at Lexington and Concord. On July 4, 1776 they declared their Independence from the British Empire as Independent States. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA was born.

 The Declaration (authored by Thomas Jefferson) justified the independence of the United States by listing colonial grievances against  King George III, and by asserting certain natural rights, including a RIGHT OF REVOLUTION. Having served its original purpose in announcing independence, the text of the Declaration was initially ignored after the American Revolution. Its stature grew over the years, particularly the second sentence, a sweeping statement of human rights:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.



TO DEFINE THE American Revolution in its simplest form can be characterized as a revolt, sudden and violent revolutions that seek not only to establish a new political system but to transform an entire society 

Today we are at a crossroads in American History, Governing Bodies have taken away our Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. This has given rise to the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT. And it must be noted that this Original Revolution was not one led by thugs but by learned men. Most of them were in their early 40's. 

Today's Revolution, the second coming of the Boston Tea Party must find common ground with the Youth of today to be successful. It is necessary to inform them of the potential devastation to their future if we continue on the course we are headed. That it is why it is imperative to enlist the Youth into today's movement.  Common ground can be shared by both young and old. One item on the agenda is to highlight the amount of debts that they will inherit. Another shared idea is the education or lack of education of 50% of our youth. We must bring these communities together and recognize our shared interests. If this cannot be accomplished, civil insurrection may result. Uprisings in various cities, social unrest and possible State secessionary movements. This is important to remember because our rosy past will lead us into a wilted and possibly decaying future.  Be careful who you vote for, you might be signing you death warrant.
