The liberal progressive socialist democrats running our government do not understand that the one time stimulus injection is "one time" only, when the gas finally runs out the economy will take a dive as it enters the W shaped recovery. And it is worse than it was before.  As the time will prove out, we are now entering the W (another downturn) recovery vs the V (coming out of it) shaped recovery. The progressives, who by the way, failed economics 101, need to brush up on the effect of a permanent tax cut. All empirical studies, forget Keynesian studies, verify the positive effect of a tax cut. Tax cuts are not a one time event, but a long time positive. Where as a car for clunker program is a one timer stealing orders from the future.

Albert Einstein when asked about the progressive liberal parasites and their economic experience stated. "A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."  So now you know why these Keynesian economic basket cases stick to the tax, tax and tax mantra and spend, spend and spend philosophy. And top it all off he had one more comment regarding these nincomepooks, "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."
