Debunking myths
Stossel has taken on a host of myths during his nearly 30-year career on ABC, from wives' tales about cold remedies to professional wrestling.
He was attacked by a professional wrestler during a segment in which he asked the wrestler to admit that pro wrestling is fake.
"That sort of annoyed me, so I love to bust those myths," Stossel said.
He said the myths he targets to bust are both generated by mainstream media, such as statements about the dangers of pesticides, but also commonly held beliefs in society.

Stossel, a free-market advocate, challenges the idea that the collapse of Wall Street last year could have been prevented by more regulation.

"Even if it was the market (that caused the downturn), we're still a hell of a lot better off than we were 30 years ago because nothing creates prosperity like free markets."
Stossel said his switch to Fox News has less to do with political views than an opportunity to do more "Give me a break"-type segments and explore other story ideas on Fox News.
