The Tea Party Patriots were energized by a number of issues during the past 12 months. The culmination of their efforts was manifested by the March on Washington D.C. September 12, 2009. The Patriots are not "evil mongers, they are not terrorists, they are not astro turf" as they were called by the Criminals running our government.  However, they are American Patriots who love this Country. What follows are excerpts from a letter received from one of our Patriots.

We have become politically active because "we love this country! We love freedom and liberty it's given us and we treasure the American way of life. Then we began to see it slipping away, slowly and deliberately. We've never in the history of this great country have seen anything resembling what's going on in Washington now. And we decided we needed to do something to preserve it and the kind of country our kids and grandkids will grow up in. We want them to grow up in the same wonderful country we did, no guarantees... just opportunities. I thought some day my grandson Cameron may come up to me and look me in the eye and ask- Grammy, what were you guys doing while our freedoms were being taken away? Didn't you realized what was happening? Didn't you try to do something to stop it? And I knew right then and there I had to get up off that couch and do something.  I didn't know what...but I knew doing nothing was no longer an option. Because if that day comes, when he looks me in the eye and asks me those questions, I couldn't in all good conscience tell him that Grampy and I didn't care enough to fight for him and our country and our way of life. I wouldn't be able to face him if that were the case. So.... here we are, carrying signs, flags and talking to anyone who will listen, and even a few who won't !!!

So needless to say, we have to take our country back. Take it back from the arrogance and dishonesty that exudes from the politicians who think we're too stupid to take care of ourselves and families... we need to put it back into the hands of the people. That's all of us. Have they forgotten that they are"public servants" and they work for us? I think they need to be reminded.

"We the People" can no longer afford to take this great country and it's freedoms and liberties for granted as we have in the past. Not as long as the people in power put themselves above God and Country. If you doubt this, talk to someone who's lived in a socialist or communist country. They know about losing freedoms and they're frightened for America.

In closing, we want to let Washington know.....we don't like what you're doing to our country. Election time is coming and we'll be all around the country during the next year, millions of us.... watching and listening and waiting... till it's our turn to go the poles to let you know how WE- the "ignored, underestimated and disrespected Americans" your were supposed to be representing-REALLY feel about the "job" you've been doing on us and
our precious country.
