FreedomWorks COMES TO CONNECTICUT
Dick Armey and FreedomWorks in Connecticut
On Wednesday evening, FreedomWorks joined Right Principles, Tea Party Patriots, Campaign for Liberty and a host of other free market groups to discuss policy, talk about the 2010 senate race and other issues in the state. We were glad to finally meet Bob MacGuffie, who the left-wing blogs and MSNBC lied about during the August town hall protests. They claimed that Bob worked for FreedomWorks, and authored a memo that told people to shout at their congressman during town hall meetings.
Well, Wednesday was the first time we got to meet with Bob and we had a good laugh about the left-wing moonbat conspiracy theories surrounding our organizations. Going forward, it will probably drive the left crazy to know that FreedomWorks will be working closely with Right Principles and the other local organizations who are pounding the pavement in defense of liberty.
The event was held in Fairfield at the Circle Diner, and there were well over 120 activists there, which far exceeded our expectations. Below is video from Dick Armey's speech, which was well received by the activists. Connecticut better watch out, because these folks are serious and determined to fight for good public policy in Connecticut and at the national level. We enjoyed meeting everyone and are looking forward to staying in touch and working together to fight Obamacare, cap and tax, card check and the other threats to our liberty.
Founded in 1984, FreedomWorks is headquartered in Washington, DC, and has hundreds of thousands of grassroots volunteers nationwide. The organization is chaired by former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey and the President is Matt Kibbe.

Mr MacGuffie does not "work" for FreedomWorks but is a volunteer. In fact he is the one who organized this very meeting you are talking about in this article,
Clifford S. Atkin, founder of TNBTP was one of the invitees at the evening get together.
