THE VILLAGES — Fox News personality Glenn Beck plans to stage a rally at 3 p.m. Saturday on Market Square at Lake Sumter Landing.

The rally will be followed by a book signing.

“The community is very excited about Glenn Beck making a return visit to The Villages,” said Cheyenne Coon, manager of The Villages Barnes & Noble, which is coordinating Saturday’s event.

The book signing will also take place on the square, Coon said. Books will be available for purchase at the square and at Barnes & Noble.

Beck’s newest book is “Arguing with Idiots — How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government.”

There is a growing sense of excitement in The Villages in anticipation of Beck’s visit.
