For the American citizen who still has the where with all, we offer some advice. The most prudent course at this important juncture in American history is for you to purchase some insurance in the form of gold. From our perspective, there is a very slim chance of escaping a major and prolonged depression. People will still be working, mostly for the Federal or State governments or government owned entities (FNM,FRE,GM), but by and large most major industries will capitulate and close their doors. The future is bleak. Here is how it will be played out.
 
More and more home owner's will default, more banks will become insolvent, more local small businesses will fold up, automobile sales will stagnate (not good for GM, and the contraction of the economy will gather more steam. Local and State government will contract, teachers will be un-employed. Officially we have a 10.2% unemployment rate, but in reality the unemployment is 17.5%, when counting those who stopped looking for a job. The Federal Reserve will have no choice but to continue pumping billions of dollars into the economy. Banks will be able to borrow from the FED at zero interest. Savings will be decimated by inflation. When the dollar craters interest rates will no longer be controlled by the FED but by the market and gold prices will explode. And this is the catch, leading to stagflation. The stagflation will be the direct result of increased prices for imports. Automobiles, energy, hardware, food, commodities will all become more expensive too. The socialists running our government do not give one hoot about private the economy. They will be responsible for its demise.

The socialists in Government (Federal & State) will not look for the most sensible solution.  The cause is easy to see but to the blind socialists the answer is not , Over regulation, high taxes, government bureaucracy out of control are the main culprits.  However, this will not change unless the Tax Payer Patriots across this great country go on strike. If this happens, the life line, the food feeding the bureaucracy will starve  the bureaucracy to death. This is the solution. A national taxpayer strike. Sounds too radical? We here at TNBTP say that RADICAL is the only solution. OUR DEBT BUBBLE will explode in the next few years causing the final collapse of the dollar. Wait and see.
