On Thursday, December 16, 1773, the evening before the tea was due to be landed, Captain Roach appealed to Governor Hutchinson to allow his ship to leave without unloading its tea. When Roach returned and reported Hutchinson's refusal to a massive protest meeting, Samuel Adams said to the assembly "This meeting can do nothing more to save the country". As though on cue, the Sons of Liberty thinly disguised as Narragansett Indians and armed with small hatchets and clubs, headed toward Griffin's Wharf (in Boston Harbor), where lay Dartmouth and the newly arrived Beaver and Eleanour. Swiftly and efficiently.

Hutchinson's actions had caused a crisis. He had been urging London to take a hard line with the Sons of Liberty. If he had done what the other royal governors had done and let the ship owners and captains resolve the issue with the colonists, the Dartmouth, Eleanor, and the Beaver would have left without unloading any tea. Lord North said that if the colonists had stuck with nonimportation for another six months the tea tax would have been repealed . In February, 1775, Britain passed the Conciliatory Resolution which ended taxation for any colony which satisfactorily provided for the imperial defence and the upkeep of imperial officers. Tea Act was repealed with the Taxation of Colonies Act 1778.

Fast forward , the PATRIOTS of today,
who share the same philosophy of the Sons of Liberty, demand in no uncertain terms, the reduction of taxes through the mass reduction in the Government Bureaucracy. This action, along with the reduction of taxes at all levels is needed to restore confidence in the Greatest Nation on Earth, The United States of America. A nominal tax reduction across the board of 25% is the minimum acceptable. If these actions are not taken, the U.S. as we know it, will not exist in its present form by 2020. The reasons for our demise are stated below. Some are a rehash of those given in earlier blogs.

1.   Manufacturing industries will dwindle as time goes on
2.   Our debtors will flee to our detriment
3.   The U.S. dollar will continue to be debased
4.   Our cost of living will increase beyond anything imaginable
5.   Our service sector will suffer as the wage base disintegrates
6.   One or more States will seek bankruptcy to restructure their financial obligations
7.   Cities will rely more on real estate taxes causing neighborhoods to decay 
8.   Citizens will seek economic friendlier climates, taking their money with them
9.   Lack of funds will cause the education system to collapse
10. Civil strife will be common place as social programs become overloaded or cease altogether
11. Need we say more?

That being said, what is the solution? Here it is. Candidates for office, it does not matter what office, State or Federal, must take an oath, and it is not one to be taken lightly, the following:

1. I pledge to support a reduction in spending across the board by 50%
2. I pledge to support the reduction of taxes at all levels by 50% 
3. I pledge to support the reduction in the size of the bureaucracy by 50%
3. I pledge to support a change in our education system using 21st century technology
4. I pledge to support a cut in pensions for current and retired workers by 35% at a minimum 

We know what many of you are thinking, THIS IS TOO SEVERE. Brothers and Sisters, Patriots of all Ages, if these Radical Actions are not taken, future generations will wonder why we did not ACT when we had the CHANCE.  One fact to be reiterated, WE CANNOT AFFORD IT ANY MORE. THE NEXT TEA PARTY WILL MAKE THE ORIGINAL LOOK LIKE  A CANDY STORE.

We are not addressing social issues, this is devise, what we are addressing is the theft from the had working men and women of this country.  We are being Taxed to Death by the Socialist Bureaucracy. This has got to stop. Those who live by the rules and pay their taxes have had it. They have nowhere to turn. Not to mention the retiree who can barely support them self due to increasing real estate taxes; not to mention the meager interest being paid by the banks due to the Federal Reserve Conspiracy.
