The number of protesters who took part in closing the Seabrook Nuclear Plant in New Hampshire many moons ago are now middle age. However, and we must say this with tongue in cheek, they no doubt have moved on to the Green State of Vermont, the Communist Dominion of the North Country. Vermont is s beautiful state (Ben and Gerrys), no billboards, beautiful countryside, rolling hills and Lake Winnipesaukee. Back to the nuclear part, after the fiasco meltdown at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania, no nuclear plants have been built. President Obama, a throw it in your face to the Greens type of Guy, is supporting a new nuclear plant in Georgia. This is wonderful, we support the POTUS. By having an integrated energy policy, composed of Nuclear and Natural Gas, this country can be self sufficient by 2020. We will save 1 TRILLION DOLLARS on the importation of oil, money this country can't ill afford to squander in these tough economic times. As most tax payers know by now, or should know, by 2020, 80% of the taxes we pay will support, medicare, social security and government pensions, the residual 20% will be left for all other programs; defense, homeland security,medicaid etc. So, if you think we have problems now, just wait another decade, they will be insurmountable. The answer is to drill baby drill, cut baby cut and shrink baby shrink the Big Government bureaucracy.
