THE JUNK YARD DOG COMES DOWN HARD ON THE CHICAGO CROWD, RHODE ISLAND REVOLUTION TOO!

http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/02/24/rhode.island.teachers/index.html From Rhode Island. The Revolution has started. Read 'm and Weep.

We have been preaching this doctrine for the past year, "Democratic supporters, please understand what the Democratic Pols have done to you."  To those who live in the inner cities,  think of your city looking like Dresden after the war, your education system is crumbling quicker than the Obama health care plan, you live in a city of violence that would put Big Al to shame and what have you done about it? Nada, nothing! However, we now have our Man, Reverend James Meeks, AKA Senator Rev who is the senior pastor of Salem Baptist Church of Chicago. Reverend Meeks is fighting back at the Windy City entrenched teachers union, he has come out for the support of Vouchers.

What has this man done to infuriate the Chicago Gang? Nothing radical or revolutionary, no way Jose, he has submitted a bill in the Senate to provide vouchers, you say vouchers,to 42,000 students in Chicago's worst public schools. And what does he get for this? Scorn.  The Reverend Senator has now placed the Union supported Democrats between a rock and a hard place. See, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. And as we have time and time blogged on Arne Duncan, the Obama Education Secretary, Mr. Arne has just pulled the plug on the voucher system, in all places, Washington D.C. http://thenewbostonteaparty.com/2009/11/30/arne-duncan-is-due-for-a-dunkin.aspx.  Old Arne Duncan previously served as CEO of Chicago Public Schools.

And this brings us back to the Rock and Hard Place.  Any politician who supports the Reverend and his Voucher proposal will be faced with the wrath of the Public School Unions and their brethren.  The Chicago math, 8 out of 100 students who graduate the Chicago public schools graduate from college. In other words the school system has failed to do their job. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW TEA PARTY PATRIOT, REVEREND MEEKS.

We have good news for the opposition. At election time Reverend Meeks will instruct his flock to vote for those who support vouchers. Republicans or Democrats. Way to go, Reverend.
