How is that sovereign debt crisis effecting your portfolio? Oh, you don't want to look!  Guess you heard the old saying,  never look a gift horse in the mouth. How about a Trojan Horse. Those Greeks, they have sucked the European Community in for the past decade. Now its the rest of the worlds turn. Rumor has it that they have run out of OUZO. 
 
In case you have been asleep this past week, we need to bring you up to speed;  Greece has run out of money. They are now one step away from entering the paupers court, begging for forgiveness. The truth is plain and simple, they cooked the books, now want a bailout form you and me. We say to them, "take your medicine now."  Forbearance is not one of our best virtues. The quintessential welfare state; 50% of the people eat off the government.  So what else is new?  

And the civil service employees who belong to the acidic unions are raging mad.The violent demonstrations in Greece are showing how incredibly hard it is to control government spending once programs are started. Even just cuts in the growth in spending are meeting stiff opposition. They want their money, actually your money; they want their pensions, they want their do nothing jobs. These socialist leeches want the rest of the world to pay for their misdeeds. No more bailouts, we have had it, it is time the people all over the world shout out to Big Spending Government, "stop the spending now."  That won't happen, government is controlled by the unions, they will have none of it. Can you imagine what will happen if welfare, social security,  entitlements, government pensions salaries were cut 20% across the board? We would have an EVE OF DESTRUCTION. There would be a BATTLE OUTSIDE RAGIN. The do nothing parasitic leach will be on the war path, burning, torching, destroying and attacking those who cut their benefits. It will happen and soon. We are living in perilous times, be prepared for the worst, hope for the best.

Greece bought us the Olympics, they brought us Homer, once the cradle of civilization, now the basket case of Europe. Where is Zorba when we need him.
