THE LIARS

We received a letter today, it was dated May 6, 2010,  from one of the socialists congressman in the House of Representatives. A socialist from Connecticut; The topic was the Obamacare. To quote, " First, according to the nonpartisan independent Congressional Budget Office, this bill will cut the federal deficit by $130 billion by 2019 and by $1.2 trillion over the following 10 years.  ...... A vote against this legislation would have meant a vote for higher deficits for our children."  "Another misconception is that the bill represents a "government takeover: of our health care system. Nothing could be further from the truth."

Well this socialist, who said he read the bill; Apparently he does not understand what is in it. That is where the problem comes in. If our representatives can't understand what is in a bill, they should not be our representatives.  In another interview it was his opinion that the "commerce clause" allowed the government to shove this bill down our throat.

After reading this we threw up. Sorry to have to tell you this.  First of all a new entitlement program run by the government is going to lower the deficit? That is the new math folks. Two plus two equals five. The CBO says the deficit will be cut by $130 billionBut on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report indicating that the bill 'will likely cost about $115 billion more in discretionary spending over ten years than the original cost projections.'

Bottom line here is simple, the congressman knows nothing about government projections or he is so gullible that he would buy the Brooklyn Bridge. Take your pick. Because in November of 2010, Representative Christopher Murphy will be thrown overboard like the tea that was thrown into Boston Harbor 237 years ago. We don't know if this socialist can swim and we really don't care.
