NATURAL RIGHTS
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;
FROM THE "5000 YEAR LEAP BY SKOUSEN" , WE QUOTE one of the greatest philosophers of all time, CICERO, "But the most foolish notion of all is the belief that everything is just which is found in the customs or laws of nations... What of the many deadly, the many pestilential statutes which nations put in force? These no more deserve to be called laws than the rules a band of robbers might pass in their assembly. For if ignorant and unskillful men have prescribed deadly poisons instead of healing drugs, these cannot possibility be called physicians' prescriptions; neither a nation, in spite of being a ruinous regulation has accept it.
ALL LAWS SHOULD BE MEASURED AGAINST GOD'S LAW.
Cicero then set forth the means by which people may judge between good and evil laws. All laws must be measured by God's Law, which is described by Cicero as follows:
Therefore Law is the distinction between things just and unjust, made in agreement with that primal and most ancient of all things, Nature; and in conformity to Nature's standard are framed those human laws which inflict punishment upon the wicked and protect the good.
THE FOUNDING FATHERS BASED THIS COUNTRY ON A SYSTEM OF NATURAL LAW. Our past and present government have digressed from those principles. "We The People" must begin the steps necessary to take our Country back to a time where the Rights of Individuals were paramount to those who govern us, not to where we are now, where the government thinks it is their right to usurp those Natural Rights as enunciated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
