WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT A TEMPEST IN A TEA POT, WE ARE TALKLING ABOUT THE MAJOR REVOLUTION READY TO EXPLODE

When Democratic Politicians start to read the Tea Leaves, then we know that the hand writing is on the wall. We don't want to keep you in suspense, but sometimes it is necessary. As we have blogged now for the past year, the main problem facing the United States is the insurmountable debt that the next generation will have to cope with. The reason for this massive debt is two fold, the criminal politicians have allowed the tail(public unions) to wag the dog and secondly, the voter allowed this to happen right in front of their own eyes.

A recent roundtable held in California by the Gov of California, Arnold Schwartzenegger, proved to be instructive. As the San Francisco Democrat and the city's elected Public Defender said, "San Francisco is the most progressive, pro-union, you know , lefty, and I'm probably the poster boy for that in many ways. But the reality is , if we don't do something, all of the important programs, not only public defense but we're talking about children's programs, after-school programs, education, senior programs, everything that we care about is progressive is going to be lost because it's being sucked up by the cost of promises."

And David Crane, a Democratic adviser to Mr. Schwartzenegger, testified before the California Assembly's Committee on Public Employees, Retirement and Social Security. "Those who should be most concerned about pension costs are families and businesses concerned about California's colleges and universities, recipients of the state's health and human services, user of state parks, citizens interested in environmental protection."

Nor is the tension the result merely of the recession. The downward spiral will continue even when the economy recovers. However, the Unions will get theirs, the vulnerable categories will get the shaft.

To sum up, the Union thugs and their Communist/Socialist sympathizers have bankrupted the country. Until the politicians come to the realization that we cannot go one paying union wages, outrageous pensions and employing millions of public employees who we don't need, don't want and who produce nothing. The day of reckoning will become more acute in ways not imagined a few years ago.
