Many decades ago they were boom towns but today we find them to be decaying skeletons that reflect their once booming past. DETROIT epitomizes the result of the liberal-progressive-socialist policies of the past 50 years. Tax the rich to pay for outlandish union salaries was their means to an end. But soon the rich were no longer Detroiters, they sped out of Motor City at the first chance they had. Those left had little means to pay for the services required to sustain the city. Today as much as fifty percent of the city does not receive city services, once working class neighborhoods are now home to nocturnal creatures. Slowly but surely the city became a paraplegic, a slum in the true sense of the word.

"Ask a white suburbanite the worst thing about the city and he’ll probably say, “Devil’s Night,” which comes like clockwork every October 30th. And there are a lot of empty houses to torch in the inner city—about 80,000, according to Forbes. Whites take it as an article of faith that roving bands of black pyromaniacs emerge from the shadows to torch abandoned houses and slip back into the trash-filled darkness."

Brought to you by "The Exiled." One million people left detroit in the past 20 years and they ain't comin' back. The following is the opening comment on Detroit's website; "  Welcome to the City of Detroit's online section for residents. Detroit has a long and storied 300-year history, but the heart and soul of Detroit is its residents." Of course the rest of the world doesn't buy into this - the demographics tell a different story. Soon, Detroit will be void of tax paying citizens and the city as a whole will become the Ghost Town of the future.

Mind you, Detroit is not alone, city after city, town after town will go the Detroit way, a slow march into oblivion, all caused by a 'TAX THE RICH' mentality. Who will be left when there are no more rich to tax? States will pick up the slack, penalizing productive citizens to chip in and save a failed Keynesian experiment. It won't take long for the rest of the state's taxpayers to realize what is happening and they to will flee, leading to a Ghost State.

This is happening now. In the past 20 years 88 Congressional seats have moved to southern states. This, obviously the result of union run governments, high taxes, debt burdens, prolific state and city pensions which will lead to usurious future taxes. A schism is forming between various interest groups in states and states as a whole within the country. Something has to change soon, tectonic plates aren't stationary for ever.
