SABER RATTLING IN NORTH KOREA – A NAPOLEON RISES AGAIN
In case you missed it North Korea launched a missile into space, propelling a satellite into orbit. A great accomplishment for the ignominious nation, but did the first stage explode or not; questions are now being asked if the satellite launch was successful. Kim Jong Un, the Little Big Man has stuck a barb in the eye of the western world.
The launch was roundly condemned by the international community. US Secretary of State John Kerry called it a “flagrant violation” of UN resolutions and warned of “significant measures to hold the DPRK [North Korea] to account.”
What will the eventual tit for tat begin. Talk about bombing the country, blowing the satellite out of orbit, a planned assassination of the Napoleon wanna-be or an invasion from South Korea. Of course with Obama waving the white flag, don’t expect much to happen. He may go yellow pants, but when push comes to shove POTUS will run for the hills. So what else is new?
Whatever happens today, tomorrow or next week, we are living in a dangerous world. Without the United States exerting any authority whatsoever, Islamists, Dictators, Anarchists reign. For example, Mary Mahoney was a Clinton White House Intern who was executed brutally at a Starbucks she was managing in 1997. As a lesbian, she became close friends with all of the interns of the early Clinton administration, and they would seek her advice after Bill’s sexual advancements. She would have been a star witness during the Clinton impeachment trials. And don’t forget Clinton White House Council Vince Foster, who was found dead in Ft. Marcy Park in Washington, D.C. He supposedly killed himself with a shotgun, and was found a few days later with a suitcase that contained a shredded suicide note. Foster knew the Clintons from his time at Rose Law Firm in Arkansas, and had intimate details of the Clinton’s financial situation. Apparently, he made a phone call to Hillary Clinton just hours before his death. The person who found him never saw a gun. Also, you may not have heard of the Clinton’s former lawyer Charles Ruff who died in 2000: Charles Ruff was one of Clinton’s attorneys during the impeachment trial and was known to have inside information on the White House email scandal as well. Original reports were that he died in an accident in his home although no details were given. Then the report changed to claim that he was found in his bedroom unconscious, then declared dead on arrival at the hospital. The authorities will provide no details other than the usual (and quite premature) assurances that there was no foul play involved. And don’t forget James McDougal! Just prior to another round of testimony before Kenneth Starr’s grand jury, and while the reporters who were covering that story were two hours away covering a standoff situation in Waco that just “went away,” Jim McDougal suffered a heart attack while in solitary confinement. Left alone for too long, when Jim McDougal was taken out of solitary, instead of attempting to defibrillate his heart with equipment on hand at the facility, he was driven to John Peter Smith Hospital. Not the closest hospital to the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center, John Peter Smith Hospital is a welfare hospital, where (in the words of one local) ,”They let interns practice on deadbeats.” NEW! On the Friday before Monday’s caucuses, the State Department, which Clinton headed in President Obama’s first term, revealed that it discovered 22 top-secret emails on the private computer server to which Clinton diverted all her governmental email traffic. This acknowledgement marks a radical departure from previous State Department pronouncements and is a direct repudiation of Clinton’s repeated assertions.
She has repeatedly asserted that she neither sent nor received anything “marked classified” using her private email server. The State Department, until last Friday, has backed that up by claiming that while the substance of at least 1,300 of her emails was confidential, secret or top secret, they were not “marked” as such when she dealt with them.
These are word games. First, under the law, nothing is “marked classified.” The markings are “confidential” or “secret” or “top secret,” and Clinton knows this.
Second, under the law, it is not the markings on the email headers that make the contents state secrets; it is the vulnerability of the contents of the emails to impair the government’s national security mission that rationally characterizes them as secrets.
Clinton knows this because she signed an oath on Jan. 22, 2009 recognizing that state secrets retain their secrecy status whether “marked or unmarked” by any of the secrecy designations. She knows as well that, under the law, the secretary of state is charged with knowing state secrets when she comes upon them.
Yet, in order to further Clinton’s deceptive narrative, the State Department has consistently claimed that it retroactively marked at least 1,300 emails as state secrets. It did this until last Friday.
Last Friday, the State Department revealed that 22 emails it found on Clinton’s private server were in fact top secret, and were in fact marked top secret, and were in fact sent to or received from President Obama. This is a revelation that substantially undermines Clinton’s political arguments and is catastrophic to her legal position.
The latest news from Iowa continues to question the results of the Democrat primary. Democrats of Clinton are blaming the numbers others are not so sure, but the questioning continues; did Hillary and her supporters rig the win. The Des Moines Register is calling for a review of the election results.
“Once again the world is laughing at Iowa. Late-night comedians and social media mavens are having a field day with jokes about missing caucusgoers and coin flips,” the Register’s editorial board writes Wednesday night.

“That’s fine. We can take ribbing over our quirky process. But what we can’t stomach is even the whiff of impropriety or error,” it wrote.
Hillary Clinton edged out Sanders by just 0.2 percentage points, a margin the Register notes would trigger recounts in other states. Sanders’ campaign has said it is working with its Iowa staff to confirm those results, which the party certified early Tuesday morning.
The caucuses are run differently than a typical primary process.
In the Democrats’ process, voters physically arrange themselves around the room to signal their support for a presidential candidate and are counted by precinct captains. Ties can be settled by coin flips, and reports out of Iowa suggest that a handful of delegates were assigned by pure chance.
That makes a full recount impossible, and a Democratic official confirmed to The Hill Monday night that there is no recount provision.
The Sanders campaign has called on the party to release the raw vote totals at each precinct. Historically, the party only publicly releases how many delegates the candidate won out of each precinct. Sanders has accused the party of failing to staff precincts with independent staffers.
The Register, which endorsed Clinton, is calling for a full audit that would include a release of raw vote totals and the results of coin tosses.
“Too many questions have been raised. Too many accounts have arisen of inconsistent counts, untrained and overwhelmed volunteers, confused voters, cramped precinct locations, a lack of voter registration forms and other problems,” the Register writes.
“Too many of us, including members of the Register editorial board who were observing caucuses, saw opportunities for error amid Monday night’s chaos.”
The Register notes that the party’s refusal to provide additional accountability “confirm[s] the suspicions, wild as they may be, of Sanders supporters.”
“Their candidate, after all, is opposed by the party establishment — and wasn’t even a Democrat a few months ago,” the board writes.
Sam Lau, a spokesperson with the Iowa Democratic Party, told The Hill in a statement that the party is working to address any concerns by the candidates of the “historically close contest.”
“We are working with all campaigns on individual concerns they are bringing to us, and addressing them on a case-by-case basis,” he said.
“Just yesterday, we met with the Sanders campaign who brought us a small amount of specific concerns, and the Clinton campaign has also asked us a small amount of questions. We will look into these concerns and reach out to our county party leadership with any questions.”

Spellberg cites German Protestant woodcuts from the sixteenth century depicting “Luther’s vision of Antichrist as a beast with two heads—one a mitered pope and the other a turbaned Ottoman Sultan.” In Luther’s vision, “Muslim souls were already forfeit, condemned to hell for all eternity.” Ironically, long before Luther, Catholics themselves had often dismissed Islam “as the summit of all heresy.” Luther, along with many earlier Catholic theologians, dismissed Islam’s holy book as nothing more than a repetition of the Bible and a form of “blasphemy.”

In the smear campaign before the election for the presidency of the United States, one candidate was accused by his opponents of being a closet Muslim. Some Christians “viewed all Muslims as agents of religious error and a foreign threat.” The United States faced a hostage crisis, as many Americans were taken hostage by Muslim powers and freed only after a ransom was paid. In one country alone, “more than one hundred Americans had been captured and imprisoned.” Accounts of these captivities, even forced conversions, were often bestselling books. Piracy off the coasts of North Africa was a major problem for American cargo ships. A “social Christian,” hoping to preserve “a purely Protestant Christian America,” was worried that aliens might take over the reins of power in the country and opined that “the few … Jews, Mahomedans, Atheists or Deists among us” must, in the name of prudence and justice, be excluded “fromour publick offices.”
The time was not the 2000s but the 1790s, and the presidential candidate was Thomas Jefferson, who was, in Denise Spellberg’s words, “the first in the history of American politics to suffer the false charge of being a Muslim, an accusation considered the ultimate Protestant slur in the eighteenth century.” And it was not Captain Phillips who was taken hostage by Somali pirates. Much of Spellberg’s book is an account of those troubled times, and the remarkable efforts by a colorful cast of characters—many of the Founding Fathers, activists, clergymen, and politicians—to create a constitution that would, at least in theory, allow anyone who swore allegiance to it to become not just a citizen of the United States but even its president.
Their efforts were particularly remarkable “given the dominance and popularity” of many contemporary ideas, books, and plays that were critical of Islam. The Ottoman Turks, still a serious challenge to Europe, were invariably thought to be the only Muslims in the world, and the Ottoman sultan was often depicted next to the Catholic pope as the essence of heresy. And yet, in words borrowed from John Locke, one of the philosophical architects of liberal democracy, Jefferson insisted on a constitution wherein “neither pagan nor Mahamedan nor Jew ought to be excluded from the civil rights of the Commonwealth because of his religion.” (It would take about a hundred and fifty years before the rights of full citizenship would be afforded to women and Jefferson’s words could be rephrased as “his or her” religion.)
Such extremism isn’t limited to out-of-the-way mosques where radical clerics operate in the shadows. It is occurring in mainstream and leading mosques world-wide, including at one of the most important religious institutions in Islam, the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
Consider a Jan. 16 sermon at Al Aqsa by Sheikh Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari, a Palestinian cleric who called for jihad against the West and Europe, and for the burgeoning Islamic State to “conquer Rome, Washington and Paris.”
Despite Al Aqsa’s importance to Islam—it is considered the religion’s holiest site outside Saudi Arabia—few Westerners are aware of the content of the sermons, lectures and lessons offered there. Many of these sermons are posted on the mosque’s two official YouTube channels and have been translated from the Arabic by my organization, the Middle East Media Research Institute.
What we have found at Al Aqsa is a steady stream of calls for jihad and martyrdom, venomous attacks on Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims, and praise for al Qaeda, Islamic State, or ISIS, and other jihadist groups.
Calls for the destruction of the U.S. and the West, including promises that Islam will take over the world, are other common themes. On July 24 last year, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Dweik—a frequent lecturer at the mosque and Palestinian cleric, like the other religious leaders quoted here—said: “The caliphate will come to be, and the nuclear bomb will be produced,” adding that this future Islamic caliphate—will “fight the U.S. and will bring it down” and “eliminate the West in its entirety.”
On July 6, 2015, Sheikh Muhammad Abed, known as “ Abu Abdallah,” declared that from “the land of the Prophet’s nocturnal journey”—a reference to Jerusalem—“armies will set out to conquer Rome, to conquer Constantinople,” and then he added to the list “Washington and London.”
In an Oct. 27 address at Al Aqsa, Sheikh Khaled Al-Maghrabi called for the annihilation of the Jews all over the world, providing justification by quoting the well-known hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) of the stone and the tree: “Oh Muslim there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.” Earlier at the mosque, on May 29, Sheikh Al-Maghrabi explained why Jews were killed in the Holocaust. “On Passover,” he said, the Jews “would knead the dough for these matzos with children’s blood. When this was discovered, the Israelites were expelled across Europe . . . It got to the point where they were burned in Germany.”
Such anti-Semitism is familiar at Al Aqsa. In another sermon there, on Nov. 28, 2014, cleric Omar Abu Sara called the Jews—to whom he said “every single vile trait has been attributed”—the “most evil creatures to have walked this Earth.” He added that “it was the Jews whom Allah turned into apes and pigs.”
If incendiary sermons such as those at Al Aqsa were being delivered in any Western city, authorities would not tolerate them. Over the past year in Europe, several sheikhs have been prosecuted or expelled for similarly extremist rhetoric. In Germany, an imam from Denmark who spoke in 2014 at the Al Nur mosque in Berlin faced criminal charges after calling for the killing of Jews, saying: “Count them and kill them to the very last one.” Two months ago, he was fined €1,300 ($1,420). Italian, Spanish and Danish authorities have handled similar matters involving hateful sermons.
At Al Aqsa, support is also strong for jihadist groups. On June 26 last summer, Palestinian cleric Issam Amira praised an ISIS-inspired attack in the small French town of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, southeast of Lyon, after an Islamist radical decapitated his employer and then crashed his vehicle, causing an explosion. “The Muslims have given rise to ISIS, and to vehicular attackers,” the cleric said. “They are courageous.” He added his wish that “Allah soon reward the Islamic nation with a second rightly guided caliphate.” Destroying “the Jewish entity”—Israel—could then be achieved, he said.
Al Qaeda also comes in for praise at Al Aqsa. The day Osama bin Laden was killed, May 2, 2011, an unnamed preacher eulogized him. In an Al Aqsa video uploaded to YouTube, the speaker vowed that despite bin Laden’s death, the “nation of one billion Muslims will give birth to hundreds of millions” of bin Ladens. Then came a threat to President Obama: “You personally gave the order to kill Muslims. . . . The day will soon come when you find yourself hanging from the gallows.”

A year ago in Washington, D.C., at the opening of the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism, President Obama urged Muslims to “push back” against extremism in mosques. He will have an opportunity to restate that message on Wednesday in Baltimore. Acknowledging the Islamist threat, and those who support it, must be part of any realistic attempt at countering violent extremism.

HILLARY CLINTON SUFFERED A MOTHER OF ALL DEFEATS – IS THERE A SMOKING GUN HERE?
Don’t ever think that Clinton one the Iowa primary, after campaigning there for eight years the state of Iowa rejected this liar hands down. Of course the liberal media would never print the truth, that their goddess in waiting was rejected and with dispatch. The resulting pseudo win reflected a coin toss, actually three coin tosses, secondly question arise on why it took so long to count a few votes. We don’t actually know what went on behind the scenes but it seem awfully fishy; another words it smelled real bad. This was a devastating defeat for Ms. Clinton, one that will be played out over the course of the next six months.
Did Democrats desperate to give Hillary a win in Iowa fix the election? We’re not sure, but there’s definitely some funny business afoot. As the Sanders campaign has noted, some precincts are missing and haven’t been accounted for:

As of early Tuesday morning, Iowa’s Democratic Party reported Clinton having 49.9 of the vote and Sanders receiving 49.6 percent. Despite 1 percent of the precincts still missing, Clinton’s press secretary claimed victory.
Concern about voter fraud was raised late Monday night when C-Span posted video that showed a Polk County caucus chair and Clinton precinct captain did not conduct an actual count of the caucusgoers. Results were also slow to come in with about 5 percent of the precincts (roughly 90 precincts) going unreported at the time that Clinton and Sanders addressed their supporters late Monday night.

HILLARY CLINTON PULLED DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY

Iowa’s Democratic Party said early Tuesday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had gained an insurmountable lead over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the state’s caucuses, but stopped short of officially declaring her the winner — while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz scored a decisive win over Donald Trump in the Republican caucuses, with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio a close third.
Early Tuesday, the Iowa Democratic Party said Clinton had been awarded 699.57 state delegate equivalents while Sanders had received 695.49 state delegate equivalents with one precinct outstanding. That precinct was worth 2.28 state delegate equivalents — not enough for Sanders to make up the deficit.
The Clinton campaign quickly issued a statement declaring victory, saying, “Statistically, there is no outstanding information that could change the results and no way that Senator Sanders can overcome Secretary Clinton’s advantage.” However, a number of news outlets, including Fox News, did not immediately call the contest for the former secretary of state.
In at least three precincts, the Democratic outcome was so close that party officials ordered a coin toss to determine which candidate should receive an extra county convention delegate, a longstanding tiebreaking method. The Des Moines Register reported that Clinton won all three coin flips at precincts in Des Moines, Davenport, and Ames.
Despite his apparent defeat, the result reflected a strong showing for Sanders, who had trailed Clinton by nearly 30 points over the summer. Sanders said the results sent a “profound message” to the media and political establishment.
It’s all over for Madam Clinton, not able to break the back of the old codger Sanders, she has taken her last gasp. The remaining primary states see what happened here, Clinton begging Iowans to vote for her, like a one legged Mexican in Tijuana sitting on the sidewalk hawking pencils. Clinton has peaked, going down like her ignominious career, in flames.

In a close race with Sanders, the Hillary campaign seemed a bit shell-shocked as a winner has yet to be declared in Iowa.
As Tom Harkin was warming up the crowd and getting ready for speeches from Bill and Chelsea Clinton, he seemed shocked to see Hillary take the stage.
Hillary marched up to the podium with Bill and Chelsea and was only one to speak before leaving the Iowa stage. Hillary never declares victory – only saying she was “breathing a big sigh of relief,” as if she won.
The Clintons skipped a rope line of screaming fans and scampered off into the night.
Clinton: 49.8 percent, 21 delegates
Sanders: 49.6 percent, 21 delegates
O’Malley: 0.6 percent
Neither Sanders nor Clinton have been declared the winner, but with Hillary’s poor showing, even if she noses Sanders out by one delegate, this is a defining defeat, her armour has been pierced. America knows all about the flim-flam game of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hopefully, after New Hampshire and South Carolina she will rest in peace. One question remains when will the FBI, put the bracelets on her.
