The scenario, you are receiving entitlement payments from the Federal or State government, they notify you that coming in 90 days your benefits will be reduced by 25%. At first this does not sink in, but to bring the message home, another notification shows up in the form of a certified letter from your local entitlement office; they are notifying you of a cut in services,no more free bus rides, no more food stamps, no more free doctors visits, no more drug reimbursements. Like a zebra culled from the heard by the mighty lion, you are shocked, this can't be true, it must be some kind of a joke. A few days later reality sets in, you are now angry, your neighbors are angry. YOU ARE NOW BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. You see, the chickens have come home to roost, the governments, from the local to the federal have run out of money. If the cuts aren't made immediately, your free lunch will be over in short order. The question you have to ask yourself? Is it better to accept less or none at all. It is your choice and your decision. You have come to the proverbial fork in the road. Will you take it or not. If you don't take it, what is your alternative. Will you go on a rampage, will you protest, will you do nothing?

Over time the money machine was working at full speed, greased by the wheels of the progressive enablers. You, the parasitic taxeater became their fodder. They really did not want to help you, they only wanted to help themselves. They affectively shammed you into the position you are now in; your are at the end of the line, nowhere to turn and have no resources to be called upon to lift yourself out of this self inflicted morass.

This is no laughing matter and it is time you faced reality. To put this into a perspective you can understand, the United States has been hit with a BUDGET BUSTER BOMBSHELL. What? Correct, the taxpayer has gone on strike, all across this great land they decided a cure was needed for the SICKNESS afflicting the BIG GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRACY. No more heroin for BIG GOV. It is now cold turkey time, the Gov is now on the wagon. And you must face the facts, no more fillet mignon, tube steaks are your new treat. Alcoholic beverages are out, water is in. Let's face it, the good times can't last for ever, you had a good roll for past two score and six years ago. It will be a pleasure to watch you cast your anger at your entitlers, that alone will be worth the price of admission. And one other minor detail, THIS IS NO JOKE.

Now that we have this cleared up, it is necessary to dispel the rumor that the health care bill will be a money saver, budget positive. Now we know that this is hard to swallow and it is. Open your mouth wide while the Socialists in power, from Obama on down the line stick that tongue depressor in your throat. And one other thing, Obama said that "the check is in the mail."

The OMB and GAO ran the numbers on the health care bill, they did not add up, no surprise here. This was not an exercise taken lightly. All of the various scenarios were contemplated. Death charts, longevity charts, illegal immigrant movements and legal migrations were equally considered. The bottom line, the Obama/Pelosi/Reid health care bill will be $1,500,000,000,000 in the hole for the next decade and the decade after that. Increasing tuition is a hardship on the productive and motivated student, those who are willing to learn without having to worry about how to pay for school and study at the same time. Put this in perspective, if a health care bill is passed, it will consume almost 10% of the pie in 2014. That is one part of the problem, the other, and you can plainly see it, is that Medicare, SS and interest are expected to increase by 50% by 2020. That comes to 79% of the budget, add in defense and we broke the bank. One problem, Other discretionary, other Mandatory make up 29% of todays budget. Who will pay for these programs and how will they be paid for? The Rock and Hard Place comes to Washington. Maybe the good folks in Washington out to stay out of the Hard Rock Cafe. Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he's obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson's brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Health care reform is not done. The Obama Administration is now trying to get its foot in the door through tweaking it in their last ditch effort to appease some Republicans. However, they are not falling for a ruse which is over 2000 pages long. We challenge anyone to read this voluminous bill and then make sense of it. "Mission Impossible". Start over, admit you are wrong, but these guys will not stop. They do not want real reform, they want control. Reform can happen if certain steps are taken. But this is not what the socialists want. They want control of the economy, they want to spread the wealth to those on the dole, to those who are here illegal, they want to enable the the parasitic tax eater, those that game the system, those who do not know what it is to work, those who are irresponsible, those who think that they are owed a living; we can go on and on for the next 50 years.

The focus on getting this bill through today, as Obama indicates, is invariable an attempt to take control of the economy and its citizens. By doling out more and more entitlements that we cannot afford, he is in affect enabling more Americans, thereby recruiting future voters to the Democratic Progressive Agenda. Remember, the people will have to pay more and more as cost escalate behind anything imaginable. And we must mention that the Progressive philosophy has the ultimate objective of transferring the wealth from the productive to the parasitic tax eater; this is the same philosophy of Hugo Chavez and thugs in Latin America. Once in place, it is impossible to rollback the bill.

Postal Service Outlines 10-Year Plan to Address Declining Revenue, Volume

Seeks Flexibility on Operations, Delivery; Possible 2011 Price Increase

WASHINGTON — Facing unprecedented volume declines and a projected, cumulative $238 billion shortfall during the next decade, Postmaster General John E. Potter today outlined an aggressive plan of cost cutting, increased productivity, and an array of legislative and regulatory changes necessary to maintain a viable United States Postal Service.

“The crisis we’re facing gives us an historic opportunity to make changes that will lay the foundation for a leaner, more market responsive Postal Service that can thrive far into the future,” Potter said, stressing that there is no one single answer or quick fix to the crisis.

The Postal Service examined revenue, volume and consumer trends; analyzed revenue and product opportunities employed by foreign posts; and examined more than 50 possible actions to realistically address volume declines that will not return, increasing health care and delivery costs, and dramatic changes to consumer behavior.

“The future depends on a suite of solutions that takes a balanced and reasonable approach, one that cuts across every aspect of our industry but one that, in the end, does the greatest possible good for our stakeholders and the American public,” Potter said.

Mail volume is projected to fall from 177 billion in 2009 to 150 billion in 2020. That represents a 37 percent decline in First-Class Mail alone. Revenue contributed by First-Class Mail will plummet from 51 percent today to about 35 percent in 2020.

“Ensuring a Viable Postal Service for America,” the Postal Service business plan, addresses these challenges, and describes a flexible, agile Postal Service that can adapt to America’s changing mailing habits and preferences.

If the Postal Service takes no action, it will face a cumulative shortfall of $238 billion by 2020. But Potter outlined a number of actions that could amount to as much as $123 billion in savings during that same time period. These actions build on the Postal Service’s record of saving more than $1 billion every year since 2001 and include continuing to aggressively control costs and eliminating hundreds of millions of work hours.

Despite these efforts, an estimated $115 billion shortfall will remain. The business plan identifies actions to close that gap:

Restructure retiree health benefits payments to be consistent with what is used by the rest of the federal government and the majority of the private sector and address overpayments to the Postal Service Civil Service Retirement System pension fund.
Adjust delivery days to better reflect current mail volumes and customer habits.
Continue to modernize customer access by providing services at locations that are more convenient to customers, such as grocery stores, pharmacies, retail centers, and office supply stores. Increase and enhance customer access through partnerships, self-service kiosks and a world-class Website.
Establish a more flexible workforce that is better positioned to respond to changing demand patterns, as more than 300,000 employees become eligible to retire in the coming decade.
Ensure that prices of Market Dominant mailing products are based on demand for each individual product and its costs, rather than capping prices for every class at the rate of inflation.
A modest exigent price increase will be proposed, effective in 2011.
Permit the Postal Service to evaluate and introduce more new products consistent with its mission, allowing it to better respond to changing customer needs and compete more effectively in the marketplace.

“Lifestyles and ways of doing business have changed dramatically in the last 40 years, but some of the laws that govern the Postal Service have not. These laws need to be modernized to reflect today’s economic and business challenges and the dramatic impact the Internet has had on American life,” Potter said.

The business plan is a path to the future, the Postmaster General said, a future where the Postal Service remains a vital driver of the American economy, an integral part of every American community and continues to deliver the greatest value of any comparable post in the world.

“If given the flexibility to respond to an evolving marketplace, the Postal service will continue to be an integral part of the fabric of American life,” Potter said.

STUDENTS ON STRIKE IN CALIFORNIA

As everyone knows by now, the State of California is one step behind Greece and Illinois when it comes to entering the Court of Bankruptcy. All three have spent the future and are in need of more Obama Dollars to survive. Well, we hold our breath for the cataclysmic event that inevitably will send the citizens of all three entities into violent riots across their terrain. So far Greece socialists have rioted, but this is isolated, we predict it will spread to most cities in the Island Country. California, then Illinois (Chicago knows something about riots, remember Richard Daly? he brought out the goon squad out at the 1968 Democratic convention, and who can ever forget the Haymarket Riot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haymarket_affair) will be next, as not only college students will riot, but their liberal parasitic tax eater entitlement brothers and sisters will join them in trashing the cities; similar to the Watts riots, four decades ago.
