By now Americans have heard the news, Israel is murdering pseudo Palestinians. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force head Esmail Ghaani spoke with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh over the weekend and they discussed the latest developments in the situation and the conflict in Gaza. Tasnim news reported the discussion in Iran. It comes amid an Iranian regional push to support Hamas, including pro-Iran leader Hadi al-Amiri in Iraq indicating his support for Hamas. Turkey and Iranian-backed Houthis and Hezbollah also support the Hamas war against Israel. The press release about Ghaani being in touch with Hamas senior leadership comes days after Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal also spoke to Turkish media and was quoted in Iranian media about Hamas strategy. What is important here is that the conversation with Ghaani comes as Iranian media published a unique look at Israel’s air defense systems, asserting that Israel is showing new vulnerabilities. Iran’s Tasnim argued on Saturday that the Iron Dome system is vulnerable to large barrages of rocket fire. Hamas has conducted unprecedented large volume of rocket fire, up to 135 rockets in five minutes, during this campaign. Hamas is driving the tempo of the war against Israel. Hezbollah is watching. Reports indicate Hezbollah could fire 2,000 rockets a day at Israel in a future war. Iran may have revealed the blueprint Hamas is using.
The defense establishment has no choice but to address the Iranian threat first hand. Expect some fireworks inside Iran; Don’t be surprised if their nuclear establishment has another unforeseen accident. This fight can’t go on forever. The Israelis have no choice but to bring it to a logical conclusion. And that is the destruction of Iran’s defensive capability. The Muslim Brotherhood is praising Democrats such as Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar who are criticizing Israel for defending itself against the ongoing rocket attacks on civilians by the terrorist group Hamas.

A senior Hamas official has reportedly called on Jerusalem residents to buy “five shekel knives” to “cut off the heads of Jews” in a recent video.
“People of Jerusalem, we want you to cut off the heads of the Jews with knives. With your hand, cut their artery from here,” Fathi Hammad, Hamas Political Bureau member and former interior minister, says in the clip, which was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
“A knife costs five shekels [about $1.50]. Buy a knife, sharpen it, put it there, and just cut off [their heads]. It costs just five shekels. With those five shekels, you will humiliate the Jewish state,” he said.
“The Jews have spread corruption and acted with arrogance, and their moment of reckoning has come. The moment of destruction at your hands has arrived,” Hammad added.
Several people cited the Hamas honcho’s call to arms in the context of his militant group’s firing of rockets into Israel and the clashes between Palestinian rioters and Israeli forces in Jerusalem, the Jewish Journal reported.
Far-left House Democrats break with Biden, blast Israel in speeches
A gaggle of far-left Democrats — including members of the so-called “Squad” — paraded onto the House floor Thursday night to deliver a series of rhetorical broadsides against Israel, with some linking the Jewish state’s latest conflict with Hamas to issues like racism and illegal immigration in the US.
“As a black woman in America, I am no stranger to police brutality and state-sanctioned violence,” said Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). “We have been criminalized for the very way we show up in the world … Palestinians are being told the same thing as black folks in America: there is no acceptable form of resistance.”
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “a far-right ethno-nationalist” on the House floor and asked: “How can we pay lip service to a Palestinian state, yet do absolutely nothing to make that state a reality while the Israeli government we fund tries to make it impossible?”
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), the first Palestinian-American woman elected to Congress, told her colleagues that “Palestinians aren’t going anywhere, no matter how much more money you send to Israel’s apartheid government” before rounding on the Biden administration over its response to the conflict.

“To read the statements from President Biden, Secretary [of State Antony] Blinken, [Secretary of Defense] General [Lloyd] Austin, and leaders of both parties, you’d hardly know Palestinians existed at all,” said Tlaib, who became visibly emotional at several points in her remarks.
That criticism was echoed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who acknowledged that “the president stated that Israel has a right to self-defense” before asking, “do Palestinians have a right to survive?”

Biden said earlier Thursday that he spoke with Netanyahu about calming the fighting but added that “there has not been a significant overreaction” by Israel. Blinken said Thursday he had spoken to both Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
“We’ve been very clear that rocket attacks must cease,” Blinken said. “We’ve been very clear about Israel’s right to defend itself.”
A day earlier, the Pentagon issued a statement saying Austin had spoken with his Israeli counterpart Benny Gantz, during which Austin “conveyed the Department’s ironclad support for Israel’s legitimate right to defend itself and its people, and … condemned the launching of rockets by Hamas and other terrorists [sic] groups that targeted Israeli civilians.”
As the speeches continued, the Israeli military said that its air and ground troops had struck Gaza in what appeared to be the heaviest attacks yet.
“I said we would extract a very heavy price from Hamas,” Netanyahu said in a videotaped statement. “We are doing that, and we will continue to do that with heavy force.”

From 1840 to 1920 the Turks brought in 506,000 Arabs. In 1920 The British Mandate approved by the League of Nations in 1922 opened the floodgates to more foreigners. The British allowed 36,000 Syrians to enter the land in 1934. From 1924-1947 the British secretly brought in 440,000 Arabs from Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq. During the Holocaust, the British smuggled in 200,000 more Arabs.
Of the 1,303,000 Arabs living in Palestine in 1947, 1 million were illegally brought in and the other 300,000 were born to those brought in after the Zionist movement in 1882 was born. The lie continues to this day. One question remains to be answered; why is the western media continuing the perpetration of this lie?

Gold has been on a tear of late, rising from the mid 1700’s to the 1840 level. The sign of inflation is in the air. A whiff of the third quarter numbers will reveal what is in the black box. Billionaire investor Sam Zell is also now buying gold, despite decades of criticizing those who purchase it, reports ETF Trends. Zell says it is because these monetary policies may create inflation like the 1970s and gold could be a hedge.

My former employer, Hotel America, is in the market for employees, but has a problem recruiting them. Why work when us ex employees are on the dole to the tune of $20 per hour; you know that works out to $40,000 per year. They are offering $15 per hour, can’t survive on that. Three mouths to feed with one on the way. And those food stamps help too.
What really was a bonanza though Uncle Joe, or should I call you China Joe. You see, so far I have raked in almost $15,000 large. Marriott CEO: Finding new hotel employees has been tough as demand spikes
Marriott CEO Tony Capuano says demand to stay at his hotels is recovering rapidly as people get their COVID-19 vaccine. But, finding new employees to service that spike in demand is proving to be a challenge right now.
“We have had some labor challenges in those leisure destinations where we have seen demand spike so quickly,” Capuano said on Yahoo Finance Live. “So in South Florida, Texas, Arizona we are running job fairs and we are providing some one-time hiring incentives to get the hotels staffed.”
Marriott isn’t alone in ramping up efforts to attract new workers (and retain current ones) amid a very tight labor market.
Chipotle said Monday it would lift the average hourly wage for its restaurant workers to $15. The company is also offering employee referral bonuses of $200 for restaurant workers and $750 for general managers. The burrito chain is looking to fill 20,000 restaurant positions.
Meanwhile, convenience store chain Sheetz said Monday it would hike the hourly rate for all of its 18,000 employees by $2 on May 21. It will also pay employees an added $1 an hour this summer.
The efforts come in the wake of a surprisingly lackluster April jobs report.
The U.S. economy created 266,000 jobs in April compared to the 1 million estimate. March’s non-farm payroll gain was revised sharply lower, showing a rise of 770,000 versus the 916,000 previously reported.
Economists say the shocking miss versus estimates reflects the labor shortage, which in part could be being fueled by generous unemployment checks.

“The laboratory incident hypothesis is extremely unlikely to explain the introduction of the virus into the human population,” Ben Embarek said. “Therefore, [it] is not in the hypotheses that we will suggest for future studies.”

Speaking alongside Ben Embarek from the Hilton Optics Valley Hotel in Wuhan, Liang said ongoing research into the origins of the virus must focus on how it circulated in animals before infecting humans.

The WHO has previously cited genetic sequencing that showed the coronavirus had started in bats and likely jumped to another animal before infecting humans.
Many of the people who had fallen ill with the new virus in Wuhan, a city with a population of roughly 11 million, were reported to have had links to the Huanan Seafood Market.
Scientists initially suspected the virus came from wild animals sold at the seafood market, prompting China to swiftly restrict public access to the market at the beginning of last year.
China’s CDC has since said samples taken from the seafood market suggest it was a place where the virus spread, not where the outbreak first emerged.

The coronavirus that causes COVID-19 – known as SARS-CoV-2 – was first identified in the central Chinese city of Wuhan in January 2020, and most scientists believe it is still most likely that it originated in China.
Peter Ben Embarek, WHO expert on food safety and zoonotic diseases, said Wuhan offered “the first solid clues” about the transmission of COVID-19 and any investigation would start there.
Many of the earliest reported cases had no connection with the market. On Dec. 10, 2019, 41 Wuhan residents were hospitalised with what turned out to be COVID-19, but 13 of them had no link to Huanan.
A team of Chinese researchers said there were two types of SARS-CoV-2 circulating in Wuhan, only one of which was associated with the market.
Scientists also said the virus was unusually “pre-adapted” for rapid human transmission, making it unlikely that the first human contact was made at the seafood market.
Though there is no credible supporting evidence, some researchers still do not rule out the possibility that the virus was released accidentally by a specialist lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
There is no indication that SARS-Cov-2 contains any synthetic insertions, but some researchers say it could have been subject to a process known as “gain of function”, where the lab forces the virus to become more infectious by exposing it to human receptor cells.
