President Trump took the roll of the nation’s “First Responder” by closing the border to Chinese immigrants and visitors to the United States early on.
Countries around the world have closed their borders to arrivals from China, as officials work to control the rapid spread of the coronavirus.
The US and Australia said they would deny entry to all foreign visitors who had recently been in China, where the virus first emerged in December.
But Trump isn’t getting Kudos from the parasitic class of Democrats who are for Open Borders to all comers. Imagine if they were on the watch! Millions would be affected. But Democrats don’t care about you, they only care about them. Americans understand that Democrats politicize everything when in fact this Coronavirus is of national concern. Perhaps they will turn around when some of them drop like flies. We doubt it. Right now they are happy believing that the economy will tank which will increase their chances in November.
The Holy League assembled a fleet of 316 Spanish, Venetian, and Genoese ships, with 50,000 sailors and 30,000 soldiers. Miguel de Cervantes, the future author of Don Quixote, served on board. The league was united in a common cause and a common faith, but national factions almost came to blows even before the first engagement with the Turks. Fortunately, the overall commander, Don Juan of Austria, managed to rally all the Christians. The Holy League fleet found the Ottoman fleet of 245 galleys in the Gulf of Patras on October 7, 1571; historian Crowley calls the Battle of Lepanto “killing on an industrial scale.” After four hours of close combat, “40,000 men were dead, nearly 100 ships destroyed, 137 Muslim ships captured by the Holy League” [10]. Of the 40,000 dead, 25,000 were Ottoman, with a further 3,500 Muslims taken as slaves. 12,000 Christian galley slaves were freed from Ottoman ships [11].

The Battle of Lepanto became known as the battle that saved Christendom. King Philip of Spain almost bankrupted his country sending silver and gold from Spanish colonies in South America and the Philippines to support the Holy League. The Venetians deployed their state-of-the-art vessels known as galleasses to great effect. Historian Paul Davis writes that “Lepanto was a victory that spelled the end of Moslem naval power and ambitions” [12].
Lepanto was also a moral victory for the Europeans. It ended the prolonged sense of fear and inferiority brought on by years of slave raids. In Venice, the citizens celebrated for days. All across Europe, paintings and plays were dedicated to the victory, and one play, Cinthio’s A Moorish Captain, inspired William Shakespeare to write Othello.
Lepanto and the long war against the Turks had repercussions in the New World. John Smith of Jamestown had been a soldier for the Hapsburgs and fought the Ottomans in Transylvania before becoming a slave of the Turks in Crimea. It was also the American Navy that ended the white slave trade in North Africa when, in 1815, Commodore Stephen Decatur defeated the Ottoman corsairs of North Africa.
Most Americans do not know this history. The historic American nation is tied to the history of Europe’s long war against the Ottoman Empire. Americans once saw themselves as transplanted Europeans, whose civilization was an extension of Christendom. Turks threaten Europe today. Turkish President Recep Erdogan claims that Europe’s future “belongs to them.” He believes in a kind of Neo-Ottomanism, and his troops in Syria and Libya are helping Arab jihadists. Pres. Erdogan acknowledges Muslim “refugees” as a Turkish foreign policy instrument in Europe.
The victories at Malta and Lepanto saved Europe. We now face a different kind of Islamic imperialism, and we must defeat it again.

On Friday, a jury returned indicted former Obama administration Acting DHS Inspector General Charles Edwards and his former aide, Murali Yamazula Venkata on charges including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit theft of government property, conspiracy to defraud the United States, aggravated identity theft, and theft of government property. Venkata is additionally accused of destroying records, according to a release from the Department of Justice.
Edwards had served as the acting DHS IG from 2011-2013. But when he left, he maintained contact with people within the DHS Office of the Inspector General. Venkata and others (the release does not say who the “others” were) allegedly conspired to steal confidential and proprietary software from the DHS OIG so that Edwards could re-package it and sell it for his own company, Delta Business Solutions.
The office of former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano pushed back on the details in the Senate report. Do you expect anything less?
According to The Washington Post, her office said neither Napolitano nor her staff “ordered that anything be deleted” in the report on the Secret Service.
A New Jersey BLACK gun owner is fighting charges for carrying a firearm for which he had a permit and ammunition state police have publicly said is legal.
Roosevelt Twyne, a 25-year-old African-American security guard, was arrested by Roselle Park Police in February after a traffic stop stemming from tinted windows on his car. Evan Nappen, Twyne’s attorney, told the Washington Free Beacon that his client was then erroneously charged for illegally carrying a firearm and being in possession of so-called hollow point ammunition.
We haven’t heard a word from Open Society George Soros. Instead of rabble rousing Eastern Europe his time would be well spent inciting a revolution in China and for that matter Russia. President Trump knew from the outset of his presidency that China was an existential threat. Now we know how bad they are. At this moment in time they are perpetrating and spreading wholesale lies. They have closed their doors to the world as the coronavirus spreads. Insiders indicate the lengths they will go to in spreading false information, They have told all factories to keep their machinery running, as to fool the world that all is well. However, no one is working in these ghost factories. The people are afraid of the deadly disease.
China is America’s antagonist, the world antagonist. The rest of the world is starting to get it. We saw China’s reaction to the Spratly Island International Court decision. China said to them, “shove it.”
In a 13,900-word white paper, Beijing claimed the Philippines, which brought the case, had “distorted facts, misinterpreted laws and concocted a pack of lies” in order to undermine Chinese interests.
The ruling against China had been based on “woefully weak pieces of evidence”, the white paper fumed, according to a copy of the text published by Xinhua, Beijing’s official news agency.
A front page commentary in the Communist party’s official mouthpiece, the People’s Daily, continued the offensive, dismissing the tribunal as “a lackey of some outside forces” that would be remembered “as a laughing stock in human history”
“We do not claim an inch of land that does not belong to us, but we won’t give up any patch that is ours,” the newspaper said, adding: “China, of course, will not accept such downright political provocations.”
The China Daily, Beijing’s English-language mouthpiece, claimed the “outrageously one-sided ruling” meant military confrontation in the region had become more likely.
“With military activity reaching unprecedented levels in the South China Sea, there is no guarantee that an escalating war of words will not transform into something more,” it said.

Dealing with China has a price. Omerta! That is correct. Deal with them and shut the “F” up. China does not take criticism lightly. So if they give you money, you are expected to tow the Chinese Communist line. In other words, no criticism from government officials, suppress the press when it comes to our internal affairs and if any of your companies operate in China, they must keep their mouths shut.
But on the way to the ball, the Chinese have found a “no welcome” sign hanging on the door. Country after country has suffered a brazen attack or threat from Xi’s government. Either you keep out of our politics or you will pay the price. To put it bluntly the Europeans have had it up to their ears. Sweden is the front runner in the feud.

For a Senator to threaten a Supreme Court Justice in today”s hostile political environment goes beyond the pale. But that is what happened the other day. Chuck Schumer, attending a rally, (click)threatened two Supreme Court Justices. This wasn’t a tit for tat type of threat, this was a criminal threat.

“I want to tell you Gorsuch,” Schumer said, “I want to tell you Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Speaking at a rally of abortion rights supporters Wednesday in front of the Supreme Court, Schumer deliberately inflamed the crowd by taking direct aim at two of the justices appointed by President Trump – Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. The rally was held as the high court was hearing arguments on a controversial Louisiana abortion access law.
We are confused! During the Democrat primary Mini Mike literally blew one half billion large; in the end his pipe dream went up in smoke. His tenancy in the Big Apple was three terms. He acquired likability because of his “stop and frisk” policy. Violent crime and petty crime imploded. He didn’t need to spend like a drunken sailor to become “His Honor.” But Mini Mike was charismatic challenged. Maybe he got away with it in NY, but his type didn’t fly in the rest of the country. He wasn’t the only one with personally challenges, others that dropped out did too. The only difference was that he had 30B (billion), the others were basically penniless compared to him, sans two other mini billionaires.
So our question is simple as one, two and three. Why don’t these multi billionaires, such as Bloomberg, Gates, Buffet, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Ellison, Brin and Page cough up two and a half billion each, say 20 billion in total and build apartment type complexes for the homeless. Staff them with medical personnel, mentors, counselors, educators, physical therapists etc. Get them back into society, give them self pride once again. We know this can be done, so why hasn’t anyone proposed this type of solution. On top of this, the savings to the government would be more than five trillion dollars in medical care alone if they remain on the street. Think of how many times they O.D. and are hospitalized. Costs to society will continue for eons if this problem isn’t solved.
