On a May 13 episode of Fox News’s “The Five,” political analyst Juan Williams claimed that Zionists couldn’t be trusted to objectively criticize Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) regarding her recent comments about the Holocaust.

For those who did not live the 1930’s we bring you back to yesteryear. The 1920’s were roaring, but the reset button was hit in the ’30s. FDR rushed through all kinds of stuff; Works Public Administration hit the board in 1935. This was a last ditch effort to rescue the economy which sank quicker than a lump of coal down an elevator shaft. The New Deal was not as advertised as the economy was sinking into the 2nd phase of depression.
Preceding the WPA was the New Deal. The New Deal was a series of programs and projects instituted during the Great Depression by President Franklin D. Roosevelt that aimed to restore prosperity to Americans. When Roosevelt took office in 1933, he acted swiftly to stabilize the economy and provide jobs and relief to those who were suffering. Over the next eight years, the government instituted a series of experimental New Deal projects and programs, such as the CCC, the WPA, the TVA, the SEC and others, that aimed to restore some measure of dignity and prosperity to many Americans. Roosevelt’s New Deal fundamentally and permanently changed the federal government’s relationship to U.S. citizens.
As noted above the NEW GREEN DEAL will accomplish the same objective as the New Deal. Government will become your master, you will become the rower on the green steamship as it heads to nowhere. Money will be printed with abandon. But sooner than many of the pundits can think, the galley will be flooded, pumps giving out, those in steerage drowning on their own mucus. First and second class passengers will be praising the green swamp water until it covers their shoes. Only then will they realize that they have been flim-flammed once again by BIG GOVERNMENT.
Remember this, the New Deal turned out to be a bad deal, LBJ’s Great Society turned out to be a Welfare Society and War on Poverty was an abysmal failure. Obama’s Change We Can Believe In turned into just hollow words.

New York Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin says Omar Suleiman has compared Israelis to Nazis.
Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., told “Fox & Friends” on Sunday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had made “a bad call” by allowing a Texas imam with a history of anti-Israel comments to deliver the noon prayer in the House of Representatives last week.
“Either the speaker’s office did not vet this imam at all, or worse, they did vet the imam and then decided that it would have been OK for the imam to come onto the floor of the House of Representatives anyway,” said Zeldin. “It’s a bad call to have this person. It’s horrible judgment, and after the 2019 that we’ve had so far, where members of their own caucus are pushing anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hate, it was a bad judgment.”
The imam, Omar Suleiman of Irving, Texas, was introduced by Pelosi before he delivered the prayer from the rostrum on Thursday. He had been invited to speak by Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas.Video
“We pray for peace, not war. Love, not hate. Benevolence, not greed. Unity, not division,” Suleiman said during his prayer. “And, we commit ourselves to not betraying our prayers with actions that contradict them.”
In 2017, the Algemeiner reported that Suleiman had posted an image on social media supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013 and had posted on Facebook and Twitter during the 2014 conflict between Israel and Hamas: “God willing on this blessed night as the 3rd Intifada begins, the beginning of the end of Zionism is here. May Allah help us overcome this monster, protect the innocent of the world, and accept the murdered as martyrs.”

“Let’s just say all you found was that he compares Israel to Nazis,” Zeldin told Fox News. “That would be enough to maybe tell that member or other members of the caucus, ‘How about you find another imam if you want to have an imam give an opening prayer?’ But … comparing Israel to terrorists, calling for — and inciting violence, calling for a third Palestinian intifada or the posts on social media that are supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood — as that list goes further on, it’s a bad call to have this person.”

Zeldin claimed anti-Semitism was “infiltrating American politics, the halls of Congress,” and cited statements by Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.
“You should be more sensitive to it, not less sensitive,” Zeldin said. “You’re seeing a desensitizing right now that is hugely dangerous if that takes over more and more of the Democratic Party.”
House Republican leaders called on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to “take action” against Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Sunday after Tlaib said that thinking about the Holocaust gave her “kind of a calming feeling.”
Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman to be elected to Congress, made the comments while discussing the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians during an appearance on the Yahoo News podcast “Skullduggery.”
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports,” Tlaib said on the podcast’s most recent episode, published Friday. “And, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”
“There is no justification for the twisted and disgusting comments made by Rashida Tlaib just days after the annual Day of Holocaust Remembrance,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., said in a statement. “More than six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust; there is nothing ‘calming’ about that fact.
“Unfortunately, this is far from the first display of heinous anti-Semitic comments coming from Democrat House members this year, and it’s clear this is now the norm for their caucus,” Scalise added. “It’s long past time for Speaker Pelosi to take swift action and make it clear that these vile comments have no place in Congress.”
House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said Tlaib’s comments were “sickening” and called on Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., “to finally take action against Representative Tlaib and other members of the Democratic caucus who are spreading vile anti-Semitism.”
A spokesman for Tlaib did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

“All of us, regardless of party, must stand as Americans against the evil of anti-Semitism,” added Cheney, the third-ranking Republican member of the House. “If the Democratic leadership continues to stand by in silence, they are enabling the spread of evil. History teaches us that anti-Semitism begins with words and becomes something far worse. Speaker Pelosi and Leader Hoyer must act now.”
Tlaib, along with Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has become a lightning rod for critics who have accused her of promoting anti-Semitic activists and rhetoric. Last month, the Zionist Organization of America called for the Democrats to expel Tlaib and pull her committee assignments over her “anti-Israel record” and her alleged association with “terrorists, anti-Semites and conspiracy theorists.”

But while we celebrate the return to the Jewish Promised Land, others continue to seek to take away that which G-d gave to us. Really nothing has changed throughout the challenging history of the Jewish people–from the Assyrians to the Babylonians and Romans–in every generation, they rise against us.
In modern times, we are once again forced to fight for our national survival in our single Jewish Homeland…this time with the Palestinians. Through countless wars and terror, the Palestinians as represented by the Arab League have not succeeded to wrest away that which G-d has bestowed on us. So since 1967, the Arabs have wrought an endless war of propaganda–everywhere from the streets of capitals of Europe to the Halls of the United Nations, and now even the chambers of Congress, they chant:
“End the occupation!”
But who is occupying whom?
Historically, Israel is the unequivocal Jewish homeland. Since the 17th century BCE, our Forefathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) all lived in the land of Israel. And G-d promised Abram (Genesis 15:8):
“To your descendants I have given this land–from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates–the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.
This promise was reiterated to Isaac (Genesis 26:3) and to Jacob (Genesis 28:13). In the 13th century BCE, after our Exodus from Egypt, we settled as a free people in the land of Israel and divided up the land amongst the twelve tribes of Israel on both sides of the Jordan River! In the 10th century BCE, Jerusalem was made the capital by King David. Our first temple was destroyed in the 6th century BCE, and the second temple was destroyed in the 1st century CE. Vast numbers of Jews were forcibly exiled from Israel by the Assyrians, the Babylonians, and the Romans, but throughout history, Jews have lived in the land of Israel even when we were not in charge of it. Moreover, without a Jewish nation state, it was “open season” for the persecution of Jews, and this culminated in the genocide of 6,000,000 in the Holocaust.
In the book, “A Durable Peace” by (Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu, he quotes the conclusion of the 1937 British Royal Commission on the disposition of the land:
In the twelve centuries or more that have passed since the Arab conquest, Palestine has virtually dropped out of history…In economics as in politics, Palestine lay outside the main stream of the world’s life. In the realm of thought, in science or in letters, it made no contribution to modern civilization.
As Netanyahu explains and documents from numerous visitors and historians at the time, the country was virtually devoid of inhabitants, such that by the 3rd quarter of the 19th century, only 400,000 Arabs and Jews lived in the entire country!
Even the name Palestine is a derivation from Philistia, the Greek name for the strip of land where the Philistines lived in the 12th century BCE. The designation has been ever changing with the Romans using the term “Syria Palaestina” in the 2nd century CE to connote the southern Syrian province. Then again, the “British Mandate” for Palestine in the 20th century included both Israel and Jordan!
While the British then pruned the land of TransJordan from Palestine in 1922, the United Nations voted to recommend Partition of the remaining “Palestine” in 1947 into a Jewish state and an Arab state. Still, with both the larger Transjordan and another proposed Arab State in Palestine, the Arabs rejected this proposal, and instead attacked Israel seeking their utter annihilation.
In the 1948 War of Independence, the West Bank was seized by Jordan and Gaza by Egypt when they invaded Israel. They in turn administered these.
In the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel was again attacked by it’s Arab Neighbors. At this time, Israel captured the West Bank (as well as the Golan Heights which Israel annexed in 1981, and the Sinai which Israel returned to Egypt for peace in 1982), and assumed the administration of this territory.
For over 70 years, the Arabs have continued to reject any partition plan, with 17 of 22 Arab League countries (almost 80%), still refusing to this day to recognize Israel.
In the 20th century, it is not Israel that has occupied or expelled the Palestinians, but rather the Arabs encouraged their brothers to leave Israel, so they in turn could attack in 1948 and “wipe Israel off the map.” Yet, the Arab countries rejected their brethren, never settled these refugees, or gave them citizenship, instead sentencing them to a life in the squalor of refugee camps. At the same time, the Arab Nations and Iran expelled over 850,000 Jews, while Israel provides 1.6 million Arabs citizenship, allows 2.5 million to live in Judea and Samaria, and unilaterally withdrew from Gaza providing the 2 million Arabs there to govern themselves (even while they incessantly dig terror tunnels and send missiles into Israel).
In short, Israel is the Promised Land to the Jewish People, where the Jews have lived throughout the ages. For hundreds of years leading up to the 20th century, most of the land was empty of people and devoid of life. The Jews accepted the 1947 Partition Plan, which the Arabs have continuously rejected vowing instead to “drive the Jews into the Sea.” In contrast, Israel has extended citizenship, self-administration, and self-rule to the Arabs living there, and could do more if there was a cessation of hostility. Throughout, there has never been a State of Palestine, nor one administered by Palestinians, and Israel is not occupying anyone’s sovereign land.
Thus, if the Arabs, who are “occupying” Israel’s land, finally accept Israel’s right to exist, I am certain that they are not only welcome but will be sincerely respected and can become over time, true friends and neighbors. However, if they instead continue to hate, incite, and terrorize Israel, then they are free to choose to go and live in any of the other 22 Arab League countries, and give Israel their justly deserved single piece of land and peace of mind.

According to WBMA-LD, FBI search warrants describe the small plot of land, located just a few miles from downtown Tuskegee, as a “makeshift military-style obstacle course.”
