Social media users are demanding CNN respond after discovering that one of their freelance contributors, Adeel Raja, who has written dozens of pieces for the outlet, wrote in a now-deleted tweet that “the world today needs a Hitler.” After some digging, it turned out to be one of several messages Raja has posted praising the Nazi leader.
“The only reason I am supporting Germany in the finals – Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!” Raja wrote during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Raja last had a CNN byline on Sept. 16, 2020. He still lists his affiliation with the network on LinkedIn.
“Hail Hitler!” he wrote the following day. Twitter users shared screenshots of the messages.

Turkey and Iranian-backed Houthis and Hezbollah also support the Hamas war against Israel. The press release about Ghaani being in touch with Hamas senior leadership comes days after Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal also spoke to Turkish media and was quoted in Iranian media about Hamas strategy. What is important here is that the conversation with Ghaani comes as Iranian media published a unique look at Israel’s air defense systems, asserting that Israel is showing new vulnerabilities. Iran’s Tasnim argued on Saturday that the Iron Dome system is vulnerable to large barrages of rocket fire. Hamas has conducted unprecedented large volume of rocket fire, up to 135 rockets in five minutes, during this campaign. Hamas is driving the tempo of the war against Israel. Hezbollah is watching. Reports indicate Hezbollah could fire 2,000 rockets a day at Israel in a future war. Iran may have revealed the blueprint Hamas is using.
The defense establishment has no choice but to address the Iranian threat first hand. The Muslim Brotherhood is praising Democrats such as Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar who are criticizing Israel for defending itself against the ongoing rocket attacks on civilians by the terrorist group Hamas.

Yale professor accuses Columbia prez Shafik of plagiarism, ‘intellectual theft’ in resurfaced 1994 research paper

Embattled Columbia University president Nemat “Minouche” Shafik screwed a former underling out of credit on a research paper published 30 years ago, a Yale University professor claims.
Ahmed Mushfiq Mobarak posted the bombshell allegations in a blistering thread on X early Friday, juxtaposing images of a 1992 report Shafik co-authored for World Bank with researcher Sushenjit Bandyopadhyay, along with a journal published in Oxford Economic Papers two years later in which Bandyopadhyay’s name was removed.
Mobarak, an economics and management professor at Yale, told The Post the findings and research cited in both papers are pretty much equal. However, Mobarak, also a former World Bank consultant and University of Maryland graduate, said he spoke to Bandyopadhyay about the issue and that Bandyopadhyay believes he should have been credited as a co-author in the second paper. The professor conceded Bandyopadhyay never said anything “negative” about the Columbia president.
“It got rewritten, but fundamentally it’s the same paper,” he alleged.
“We can’t get in the room and [learn] what sentences did he write and what sentences she wrote, but what we do know is his contribution was sufficient to warrant co-authorship [in 1992],” he added. “What is not common is for someone to be a co-author and then suddenly their name is taken off.”

Instead, Bandyopadhyay is only “thanked” in an acknowledgement section in the back of the 1994 published journal — which screams of “power asymmetry” considering Shafik was then Bandyopadhyay’s boss, alleged Mobarak.

Columbia University spokesperson Ben Chang shot down the Yale professor’s claims, saying “this is an absurd attempt at running a well-known playbook, and it has no credibility.”

First of all we can’t verify the numbers, but according to the Hamas propaganda machine, the majority of those killed were children and women. The liberal press, of course has picked this up, run numerous articles on Israel blood libel. To set the record straight, these numbers can’t be verified and if that many have been killed, we note that Hamas is responsible for the majority of them. To us, the story demands further confirmation. Why? How is it that the percentage of men are minimized? In any event, Hamas has bit off more than they can chew and Sinwar and company will find out soon enough.
Hamas doesn’t want to end the war, if they do, it can be done in two seconds; give up and let the hostages go. This won’t happen, Hamas is a ruthless terrorist organization, bent upon the killing of Jews. The final fight in Rafah is close at hand, this will, most likely take a few months to root out the last of the terrorists. Israel has no choice but to eliminate them or be eliminated.

The latest Blood Libel said that Israel buried hundreds of pseudo Palestinians in a mass grave at the Nasser Hospital. They say some were shot in the head, others with their hands tied. Makes a great story, but Hamas is known to shoot collaborators with Israel in the head.
NBC News reached out to the Israel Defense Forces on Thursday and Friday seeking comment on the specific allegations made by Gaza’s Civil Defense that have been included in this article. It responded first by highlighting a tweet from IDF spokesperson Nadav Shoshani that doesn’t directly address the allegation that the IDF carried out field executions on the grounds of Nasser hospital, but said that “any attempt to blame Israel for burying civilians in mass graves is categorically false and a mere example of a disinformation campaign aimed at delegitimizing Israel.” On Saturday, the IDF repeated the response it issued on Thursday.
This is the second attempt to blame Israel for a situation that occurred during the war. The first one was at the Gaza Hospital. The facts were clear, Hamas’s errant missile struck the hospital.
Video obtained from Israeli television channel Keshet 12 News allowed The Post to geolocate the origin of the barrage to a point southwest of the hospital in Gaza City, matching the rough location the Israeli military has alleged was the launch site of a misfired rocket that it said landed on the hospital grounds. Experts said rockets from that barrage would have been able to reach the hospital in time for the explosion.
The analysis of that and other videos, in addition to expert review of imagery of the blast site, provides circumstantial evidence that could bolster the contention by Israel and the U.S. government that a stray rocket launched by a Palestinian armed group was responsible for the Oct. 17 explosion.
In addition, The Post’s analysis found that a key video filmed and aired by Al Jazeera, which the Israeli and U.S. governments have cited as evidence that a rocket failed and landed on the hospital grounds, instead shows a projectilelaunching from a location miles away in Israel, near an apparent Iron Dome air-defense battery. Experts said that the widely circulated video probably showed an Iron Dome interceptor missile that collided with a rocket more than three miles from the hospital and most likely had nothing to do with the hospital explosion.

Alec Baldwin’s scuffle with a loudmouthed anti-Israel agitator at a New York City coffee shop spilled out onto the sidewalk, new photos obtained by The Post show.
An irate Baldwin, 66, was seen struggling with the woman out the front door and down the stoop of Maman, an upscale cafe on University Place in Greenwich Village, after she had accosted him inside on Monday and demanded he declare “Free Palestine” as she filmed him.
Footage of the encounter, first posted online by the woman herself, cut off after Baldwin took a swipe at her phone — and new photos appear to show him snatching the phone from her hand and using it to drive her out of the coffee shop.
