Man who stabbed American tourists in Amsterdam names Wilders, cites ‘insults’ to Islam

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – A man who stabbed two American tourists at Amsterdam’s central station last week named Dutch, anti-Islam lawmaker Geert Wilders during police questioning and said he was motivated by perceived insults to Islam in the Netherlands, prosecutors said on Monday.

The man, identified by Dutch media as Jawed S., is a 19-year-old Afghan with residency in Germany, who traveled to Amsterdam to carry out an attack because of what he said were repeated insults to God, the Koran and Islam’s Prophet Mohammed, prosecutors said in a statement.

The attack came after Wilders, a far right campaigner against Islam, canceled plans to hold a competition last week of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed and had a clear “terrorist motive”, prosecutors said.

“He named Wilders, but did not say anything about the cartoon competition,” a statement said. “Up to now there is no evidence the suspect worked with others.”

The victims, both 38-year-old men, are still being treated in hospital, while the stabber, who was shot and wounded by police, was also being treated while his custody was extended for two weeks on Monday.

Prosecutors said that German police had searched the man’s home in Germany and seized computer memory devices.

International protests on behalf of UK political prisoner Tommy Robinson gain momentum as Dutch MP Geert Wilders announces he will join the June 9th demonstration in London.

Wilders, an outspoken critic of the Islamization of Europe, risks a hostile reception from both Islamists and a British government that has denied him entry to the country in the past.

In a manifesto published by Breitbart London, Wilders praised Robinson for his courage in speaking out on behalf of the silent majority of Brits who are watching their homeland descend into an Orwellian, pseudo-Islamic tyranny.

“Tommy Robinson is a working-class man, who can no longer stand how the original population of England is oppressed by Islam,” Wilders wrote. “The latter enjoys the protection from the multiculturalist politically-correct Islamophile ruling class. Tommy Robinson wants to break the taboos this class imposes on society, and he was punished for it.”

“But Tommy embodies the hope of many, whose voices are not heard. That is why I stand with him. Tommy is a hero. It is a disgrace that he is still in jail. I have been invited to a major protest demonstration in London next week, and I will be coming. Free Tommy now!”

Wilders will join prominent UK politicians, journalists and activists – and likely thousands of Brits at the June 9 event.

“Working on some very big names for next weekend’s #FreeTommy rally,” announcedpolitical commentator and author, Raheem Kassam. “You are NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS IT.”

The London demonstration will serve as the epicenter of a burgeoning movement in support of Robinson and all his plight symbolizes in the battle for free speech across the West.

Parallel rallies have been taking place in cities around Europe, the US, and Australia, and are expected to continue.

“#FreeTommy last weekend, this weekend and next weekend with Geert Wilders in London 9th June,” tweeted MEP Janice Atkinson. “Oh, with a little help from cities around the world.”

In the wake of Robinson’s arrest, Wilders delivered a statement in front of the British Embassy in The Hague, where he condemned the UK government, comparing it to those of Saudi Arabia and North Korea, and called for Robinson’s immediate release.

“I stand here in solidarity with Tommy Robinson,” Wilders said. “We will no longer be silent. Our future is at stake, and we will protect it. Free Tommy Robinson.”

by BRUCE BAWER March 13, 2017 12:15 PM Voters have an opportunity to reverse a disastrous immigration policy. Where would we be without the Netherlands? In its 17th-century golden age, it helped pioneer capitalism, individual liberty, and peaceful religious diversity. Even today, it punches far above its weight both economically and culturally. Yet this country of just under 17 million people has also been at the forefront of the single most disastrous multinational policy of our time: the post-war decision to take in hordes of unvetted immigrants from the Muslim world. This big-hearted but soft-headed folly (in which the general public had no say) involved several catastrophically misguided assumptions: that people born and bred under deeply corrupt political systems would, upon finding themselves in a staggeringly generous welfare state, seek out jobs, work hard, and contribute to the economy rather than set about fleecing the government; that people whose native cultures were characterized by sexual repression, sexual inequality, and sexual violence could quickly and easily assimilate into one of the planet’s most peaceable, equitable, and sexually liberated societies; and, above all, that devout believers in Islam who had never in their lives questioned the doctrine of jihad, the wickedness of Jews, the subordinate status of infidels, and the justness of punishing apostasy and homosexuality with death (and who, if literate, might never have read any book other than the Koran) could become proud, law-abiding citizens of a diverse and sophisticated secular democracy. No, the post-war immigrant wave wasn’t a total mess. Today, Sikhs and Hindus in the U.K. are more productive and prosperous, on average, than ethnic Britons; in the Netherlands, residents who trace their roots to the former Dutch colonies of Indonesia and Suriname have proven, by and large, to be success stories. The same can’t be said, however, about Dutch Turks and Arabs, above all Moroccans, who formed — and, for the most part, continue to live in — claustrophobic sharia enclaves marked by high unemployment; low levels of integration: such formerly exotic phenomena as female genital mutilation, forced cousin marriages, and “honor killings”; and a profound contempt for infidel society, upon which its young male residents have inflicted growing levels of brutal crime. (A 2011 government report found that 40 percent of Dutch Moroccans between ages twelve and 24 had been arrested, fined, charged, or accused of a crime in the previous five years — a striking statistic, given the reluctance of many victims to report crimes and of many police officers to take aggressive action in Muslim communities.) As elsewhere in Europe, secular Muslims, Ahmadi Muslims, ex-Muslims, and others who left the Islamic world precisely because they wished to escape sharia and live in freedom have found that their own rights are of less interest to authorities than the demands of patriarchal religious and community leaders. Yet even as Islam in the Netherlands grew apace — both Amsterdam and Rotterdam are now about 25 percent Muslim (by comparison, the figure for the U.S. is only 1 percent) — precious few Dutch officials and media commentators dared to address the issue. The result? First, the brief, meteoric political career of Pim Fortuyn, whose no-holds-barred criticism of Islam won him immense support and brought him tantalizingly close to the premiership prior to his murder on May 6, 2002 (the country’s first peacetime political assassination since 1672). Second, the grisly murder, on November 2, 2004, of writer and director Theo van Gogh, whose short film Submission, about Islam’s abuse of women, had outraged his Dutch-Moroccan jihadist killer, Mohammed Bouyeri — who, in a note stuck to Van Gogh’s corpse with a knife, vowed that the Netherlands and America, too, would soon be brought down. Third, the successful effort by the political establishment to anathematize Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Dutch-Somali member of the parliament who had quit Islam after 9/11 and become an eloquent critic of her former faith — and who, in 2006, emigrated to the U.S., where she has remained a powerful voice on the subject. And fourth, the rise of parliament member Geert Wilders, who, after being expelled from the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (or VVD, in its Dutch abbreviation) in 2004 for his “extreme” views on Islam, formed the Freedom party (PVV). For the Dutch establishment, Wilders has been public enemy No. 1 ever since. On several occasions, he’s been called on the carpet by intelligence, security, and Ministry of Justice officials who’ve demanded that he moderate his anti-Islamic language. In 2008, a coalition of political, business, academic, and religious leaders conspired unsuccessfully to freeze him out of the public square. (“Geert Wilders,” said its leader, “is evil, and evil has to be stopped.”) Although Wilders is thoroughly persuasive in his insistence that his opposition to Islam is rooted in a devotion to individual liberty, free speech, freedom of religion, women’s equality, and gay rights, the Dutch media have routinely labeled him “far right,” and foreign reporters (some of whom don’t know any better, and some of whom do) have echoed this misrepresentation. Because of death threats, he’s lived with bodyguards around the clock since 2004. In 2009, he was briefly banned from the U.K. He’s twice been put on trial, essentially for violating limits on free expression. The first time, in 2011, he was acquitted; last December, he was found guilty. His crime? He asked supporters at a political rally whether they wanted more or less of the European Union. They shouted back: “Less!” Did they want more or less of the Labor party? “Less!” And, last, did they want more or fewer Moroccans? “Fewer!” No, it wasn’t the most delicate way of raising the issue, nor one that was fair to every individual Moroccan. But Wilders has never taken the delicate approach. In the Netherlands, that probably wouldn’t work. The country has long run on the principle that the only way to manage a small, ideologically diverse, and conflict-shy democratic country is to seek, patiently and respectfully, to hammer out a national consensus on every issue — a consensus with which every segment of the populace will be happy. This approach worked pretty well generations ago, when Catholics, Protestants, Jews, and nonbelievers alike aspired to live and let live under a secular government. But when pious Muslims who buy into classical sharia lock, stock, and barrel become part of the mix, this kind of consensus is impossible unless the non-Muslims are willing to sacrifice major tenets of democracy on the altar of sharia. Many leading Dutch figures have, indeed, demonstrated a willingness to make just such a sacrifice. Job Cohen, while mayor of Amsterdam from 2001 to 2010, proposed that, in the name of social harmony, Dutch authorities let Muslim men conduct their marital relations in accordance with sharia law — meaning that they should be allowed to have intercourse with their wives at will, to beat them if they resisted, or, presumably, to do even worse to them if they ventured outside of the home with their heads uncovered or (heaven forbid) exchanged a friendly word with an infidel male. Dutch author Ian Buruma agreed, calling in his book Murder in Amsterdam (2006) for an “accommodation with . . . Muslims” that would involve allowing “orthodox Muslims” to “consciously discriminate against their women.” (Writing about Buruma’s book in The New York Review of Books, British intellectual Timothy Garton Ash approved.) Then there’s Piet Hein Donner, who was the Dutch minister of justice from 2002 to 2006. When a 2006 poll found that 63 percent of Dutchmen viewed Islam as “incompatible with modern European life,” Donner’s reaction was to repudiate their implicit rejection of Islamic law and to look forward, sanguinely, to a time when Muslims would form the majority of the Dutch population: “If two-thirds of all Dutchmen wanted to introduce sharia tomorrow,” he insisted, “it would be a disgrace to say, ‘This is not permitted.’” As it happened, while Dutch elites were embracing appeasement in this pusillanimous fashion, Islam was dramatically transforming the Netherlands — especially its major cities and many of its mid-sized ones — in ways that have made it, among much else, more dangerous for women, for gays, and for Jews. Often it has seemed that Wilders is the only public figure talking frankly about any of this. During the last couple of years, consequently, the PVV has risen in the polls even as support for the Labor party, the longtime powerhouse of the Left, has almost totally collapsed. Meanwhile, in response to Wilders’s growing strength, the VVD (whose leader, Mark Rutte, is the current prime minister, heading up a VVD/PvdA coalition cabinet) has proffered watered-down versions of the PVV’s proposed immigration reforms. As the Netherlands closes in on its March 15 parliamentary elections, however, the PVV and VVD are neck and neck. Late February brought a shock: A member of Wilders’s security team, a Dutch Moroccan whom the government identified only by the Kafkaesque name “Faris K.,” was arrested for having possibly shared confidential information with a jihadist group — the very possibility of which, needless to say, only underscores the grim realism and urgency of Wilders’s message. At this writing, all that has been established for certain is that in 2007, Faris was investigated for criminal ties, and his brother Mohammed was dismissed from the Utrecht police force for leaking state secrets to lawbreakers. A victory at the polls by the PVV would amount to a third earth-shaking populist rejection of a leading Western nation’s political establishment. “It was really crazy to include a man with such a history on a police team where he was indirectly responsible for Wilders’s security,” veteran Dutch journalist Carel Brendel told me by e-mail. “This is the more worrying as the Brussels terror attacks showed that criminals and jihadists sometimes work together.” But such craziness is standard practice in the Netherlands, where authorities still hesitate to institute sensible safeguards for fear of being considered racist. So what will happen on March 15? In the wake of Brexit and the election of Donald Trump (both of which Wilders applauded), a victory at the polls by the PVV would amount to a third earth-shaking populist rejection of a leading Western nation’s political establishment. Yet given the number of major parties in the Netherlands (no fewer than eleven are represented in the parliament), and given the flat-out refusal of every last one of them ever to form a government with the PVV, it’s extremely unlikely that Wilders will end up as prime minister. Hans Moll, a former journalist for the newspaper NRC Handelsblad, tells me that as bad as things have gotten in Europe, most Dutch voters still haven’t been traumatized enough to shake off their deep-rooted pragmatism and will therefore “grant the VVD another chance.” Brendel agrees, stating flatly that Wilders won’t be a part of the next government “and he knows it.” They may be right. Which would be sad news, for another VVD victory will amount, at best, to a postponement of the necessary and inevitable — and, at worst, to a failure to grasp one last opportunity to rescue Dutch liberty before it’s too late. — Bruce Bawer is an American writer who has lived in Europe for 19 years. GEERT WILDERS – A DUTCH PATRIOT

In two days the Dutch Master, Geert Wilders, will be asking for the vote of all patriotic citizens of the Netherlands. He is the odds on favorite to win. DutchMastersCigars.jpg

Geert Wilders is one of the key players in Wednesday’s Dutch election, and one of the most prominent and controversial populist leaders in Europe. As the founder and leader of Party For Freedom (PVV), Mr Wilders has rallied against the “Islamification” of the Netherlands. Geert Wilders op Prinsjesdag 2014 (cropped).jpg

If elected, Mr Wilders has promised to deliver a total “de-Islamification” of the Netherlands.

Bookmakers Betfair has made PVV the favourite to take the most seats with odds of 8/13, with VDD behind them at 5/4. However this does not necessarily mean that Mr Wilders will become the next Prime Minister. The Dutch parliament relies on coalition governments, and so far none of the main political groups have expressed an interest in working with the anti-EU party.

There is more work to do if he wins. The competing parties are not in the compromising mood. This will cause chaos. However, we believe Mr. Wilders will be able to put through a coalition government.

Wilder says he’s convinced that if something isn’t done to stop the spread of Islam across the West, our whole way of life will vanish and we’ll all live in Muslim-ridden slums, assaulted for our Christianity and love of free speech. To make his case, Wilders regularly takes politicians from around the world on tours of majority-Muslim neighborhoods in the Netherlands, offering them a glimpse of their future if they don’t beat back Islam.

   Dear Friends,

  Thank you very much for inviting me.  I come to America with a mission.   All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic.

  We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe.  This
not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself,
it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the  West.  The
United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an
Islamic Europe.

 

  First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I
will say a few things about Islam.  To close I will tell you about a
meeting in Jerusalem.

 The Europe you know is changing. You have probably seen the landmarks.But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.

  All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim
neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen.
And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well.
It’s the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read.  You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity.  These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics.  These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.


There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe With larger
congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city
there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in
the region.  Clearly, the signal is: We Rule.

  Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take
Amsterdam, Marseilles and Malmo in Sweden.  In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods.  Mohammad is the most popular name among boys in many cities.

 

  In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the Swine, and that very thought would be an insult to Muslims.  Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all
pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear ‘whore, whore’. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

 

  In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Jewish people or the Holocaust can no longer be taught or made mention of because of Muslim sensitivity.

 

 In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal
system.  Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves.  Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking Ale during the Ramadan.

 

 Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst
wave of anti-Semitism since World War II.  French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel.  I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

 

 A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe. San Diego
University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the
population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now.  Bernhardt
Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

 

  Now these are just numbers.  And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few if any signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported  that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France. One-third of French  Muslims do not object to suicide attacks.  The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate.

 

 Muslims demand what they call ‘respect’.  And this is how we give them respect.  We have Muslim official state holidays.

 

  The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia
in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority.

 

 We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey.

  Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus.  I call the perpetrators settler’s. Because that is what they are.  They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam.Therefore, they are settlers. 

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries.  Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

 

  The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized.  Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages – at the same time.  Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammad himself slaughtered the  Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza.  If it is good for Islam, it  is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is very bad.

 

 Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion.  Sure, it has a god,
and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a
political ideology.  It is a system that lays down detailed rules for
society and the life of every person.  Islam wants to dictate every
aspect of life.  Islam means ‘submission’.   Islam is not compatible
with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is Sharia.  If
you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or
national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

 

  Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam ‘the most retrograde force in the world’,  and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor.  I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times.  I support Israel.  First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz.  Second because it is a democracy.  And third because Israel is our first line of defense.

 

  This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating
Islam’s territorial advance.  Israel is facing the front lines of jihad,
like Kashmir, Kosovo, the  Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in
Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia.  Israel is simply in the way.
The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

 

  The war against Israel is not a war against Israel.  It is a war
against the West.  It is jihad.  Israel is simply receiving the blows
that are meant for all of us.  If there would have been no Israel,
Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest.  Thanks to Israeli parents who send their
children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and
America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

 

  Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities.  But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West.  It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values.  On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam.  They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, a paper tiger and doomed.

 

  The end of Israel would not mean the  end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination.  If they can get Israel, they can get everything.

 

  So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islam
as a  ‘right-wing extremists’ or ‘racists’.  In my country, the
Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II.  And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.  Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing.

 

  The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine.  An
Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America – as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs.   With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem.

 

  Dear  friends, Liberty is the most precious of gifts.  My generation
never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver
platter, by people who fought for it with their lives.  All throughout
Europe, American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish.  My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians.  We can only hand  over this hard won liberty to Europe’s children in the same state in which it was offered to us.  We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams.  Future generations would never forgive us.  We cannot squander our liberties.We simply do not have the right to do so.

 

  We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic barbarism and stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.

Dutch Party For Freedom (PVV) leader and prominent counter-Islamist campaigner Geert Wilders has spoken exclusively to Breitbart London in the aftermath of this morning’s major terror attack and has lamented it is just the beginning of growing Islamist violence.

Mr. Wilders said: “I fear that we ain’t seen nothing yet. According to Europol 3,000 to 5,000 European jihadists, who went to Syria to fight in the ranks of IS and similar terrorist groups, have meanwhile returned to Western Europe. For more than eleven years, I have been living under death threats. Every day, I am reminded of this. Even today. This morning, I was driven here in a convoy of armored cars, with sirens, flashing lights, and surrounded by bodyguards. And not only today, but every day.
I will be brought home in the same way. Home is a safe-house. My office is a shielded room. And when I have to stand in court, it is here, in a bunker at Schiphol.

There are large neighborhoods in the Paris suburbs called No-Go Zones, where non-Muslims dare not enter. There are similar areas in cities throughout Europe. They are microstates within states, governed by Shariah law, where young people go to madrassas instead of public schools.

Don’t be convinced by politicians who will try to sway your opinion utilizing their politically correct language so not to enrage the Muslim population; for instance Obama on the Fort Hood piece of human excrement that murdered 13 of our Servicemen calls it “work place violence.”  His then puppet master doubles down on the dialogue.

Hasan had never deployed in support of the wars in Afghanistan or Iraq, so he was obviously unable to absorb any sort of extremist message, and he targeted soldiers in a single location, which meant he clearly had issues relevant to that specific location or population.”

When asked if Hasan’s Muslim faith had any bearing on the decision to label that incident ‘workplace violence’ instead of a terror attack, Carney was adamant that it did not.

He has a target on his back, but that does not stop (click)Geert Wilders from voicing his opinion; warning about the Islamization of not only his country but all countries. In 1998, Mr. Wilders was elected to parliament and became known for opinion articles that were usually about foreign policy. He had a genuine interest in the Middle East, focusing on countries such as Israel, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. He was one of the first politicians to warn about Islamic extremism, an issue that was unknown in the Netherlands. After the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington, Mr. Wilders’ interest in Islam grew. He also noticed the success Fortuyn had achieved by opposing Islamic immigration.

In 2005, Mr. Wilders established the Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV), into which Group Wilders was merged. PVV was to be the vehicle for participation in the 2006 elections and for a search for party candidates. It would focus on opposition to Islam, the legacy of Fortuyn, cutting non-Western immigration, and euroscepticism.The PVV is often described as conservative, right wing, or even far right. However, right-wing parties are usually strong proponents of free markets and laissez faire economics. If the PVV were not anti-immigration and anti-Islamic, it would be known for favouring liberal social policies, such as improving public healthcare and not raising the retirement age.

Little-known Facts

Very few people know that the PVV has a considerable following among immigrants to the Netherlands. Greek Cypriots, Copts, Middle-Eastern Christians, and people from India support Mr. Wilders in substantial numbers because of their experiences with Islam in their home countries.

According to Mr. Wilders, Islam should not be seen as a religion but as a totalitarian ideologythat seeks to dominate every aspect of life.

White voters en masse have fled the Democrat party – talk about a canary in a coal mine; now if we can get through to the Blacks.  More importantly they must recognize the threat to their communities, those  coming from the illegals who take entry level jobs. And adding insult to injury the Islamization (radicalization)  of many of their past stalwart community leaders, such as Barack Hussein Obama who follow the Quran. This is not a good sign for their aspirations, but also not a good sign for America. See previous post on Geert Wilders.

… liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives.

All throughout Europe American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe’s children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.

Speech at the Four Seasons, New York

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for inviting me. Great to be at the Four Seasons. I come from a country that has one season only: a rainy season that starts January 1st and ends December 31st. When we have three sunny days in a row, the government declares a national emergency. So Four Seasons, that’s new to me.

It’s great to be in New York. When I see the skyscrapers and office buildings, I think of what Ayn Rand said: “The sky over New York and the will of man made visible.” Of course. Without the Dutch you would have been nowhere, still figuring out how to buy this island from the Indians. But we are glad we did it for you. And, frankly, you did a far better job than we possibly could have done.

I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The danger I see looming is the scenario of America as the last man standing. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe. In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: who lost Europe? Patriots from around Europe risk their lives every day to prevent precisely this scenario form becoming a reality.

My short lecture consists of 4 parts.

First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam. Thirdly, if you are still here, I will talk a little bit about the movie you just saw. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.

The Europe you know is changing. You have probably seen the landmarks. The Eiffel Tower and Trafalgar Square and Rome’s ancient buildings and maybe the canals of Amsterdam. They are still there. And they still look very much the same as they did a hundred years ago.

But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world, a world very few visitors see – and one that does not appear in your tourist guidebook. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration. All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighbourhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It’s the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corner. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighbourhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and Malmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighbourhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities. In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear “whore, whore”. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin. In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can in many cases no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity. In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighbourhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel. I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe. San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France. One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favour of a worldwide caliphate. A Dutch study reported that half of Dutch Muslims admit they “understand” the 9/11 attacks.

Muslims demand what they call ‘respect’. And this is how we give them respect. Our elites are willing to give in. To give up. In my own country we have gone from calls by one cabinet member to turn Muslim holidays into official state holidays, to statements by another cabinet member, that Islam is part of Dutch culture, to an affirmation by the Christian-Democratic attorney general that he is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey.

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behaviour, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. Some prefer to see these as isolated incidents, but I call it a Muslim intifada. I call the perpetrators “settlers”. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies, they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighbourhoods, their cities, their countries.

Politicians shy away from taking a stand against this creeping sharia. They believe in the equality of all cultures. Moreover, on a mundane level, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

Our many problems with Islam cannot be explained by poverty, repression or the European colonial past, as the Left claims. Nor does it have anything to do with Palestinians or American troops in Iraq. The problem is Islam itself.

Allow me to give you a brief Islam 101. The first thing you need to know about Islam is the importance of the book of the Quran. The Quran is Allah’s personal word, revealed by an angel to Mohammed, the prophet. This is where the trouble starts. Every word in the Quran is Allah’s word and therefore not open to discussion or interpretation. It is valid for every Muslim and for all times. Therefore, there is no such a thing as moderate Islam. Sure, there are a lot of moderate Muslims. But a moderate Islam is non-existent.

The Quran calls for hatred, violence, submission, murder, and terrorism. The Quran calls for Muslims to kill non-Muslims, to terrorize non-Muslims and to fulfil their duty to wage war: violent jihad. Jihad is a duty for every Muslim, Islam is to rule the world – by the sword. The Quran is clearly anti-Semitic, describing Jews as monkeys and pigs.

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behaviour is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages – at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. He advised on matters of slavery, but never advised to liberate slaves. Islam has no other morality than the advancement of Islam. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad. There is no gray area or other side.

Quran as Allah’s own word and Mohammed as the perfect man are the two most important facets of Islam. Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means ‘submission’. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

This is what you need to know about Islam, in order to understand what is going on in Europe. For millions of Muslims the Quran and the live of Mohammed are not 14 centuries old, but are an everyday reality, an ideal, that guide every aspect of their lives. Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam “the most retrograde force in the world”, and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.

Which brings me to my movie, Fitna.

I am a lawmaker, and not a movie maker. But I felt I had the moral duty to educate about Islam. The duty to make clear that the Quran stands at the heart of what some people call terrorism but is in reality jihad. I wanted to show that the problems of Islam are at the core of Islam, and do not belong to its fringes.

Now, from the day the plan for my movie was made public, it caused quite a stir, in the Netherlands and throughout Europe. First, there was a political storm, with government leaders, across the continent in sheer panic. The Netherlands was put under a heightened terror alert, because of possible attacks or a revolt by our Muslim population. The Dutch branch of the Islamic organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir declared that the Netherlands was due for an attack. Internationally, there was a series of incidents. The Taliban threatened to organize additional attacks against Dutch troops in Afghanistan, and a website linked to Al Qaeda published the message that I ought to be killed, while various muftis in the Middle East stated that I would be responsible for all the bloodshed after the screening of the movie. In Afghanistan and Pakistan the Dutch flag was burned on several occasions. Dolls representing me were also burned. The Indonesian President announced that I will never be admitted into Indonesia again, while the UN Secretary General and the European Union issued cowardly statements in the same vein as those made by the Dutch Government. I could go on and on. It was an absolute disgrace, a sell-out.

A plethora of legal troubles also followed, and have not ended yet. Currently the state of Jordan is litigating against me. Only last week there were renewed security agency reports about a heightened terror alert for the Netherlands because of Fitna.

Now, I would like to say a few things about Israel. Because, very soon, we will get together in its capitol. The best way for a politician in Europe to loose votes is to say something positive about Israel. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I, however, will continue to speak up for Israel. I see defending Israel as a matter of principle. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel. First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.

Samuel Huntington writes it so aptly: “Islam has bloody borders”. Israel is located precisely on that border. This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam’s territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia. Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West. It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel, they can get everything. Therefore, it is not that the West has a stake in Israel. It is Israel.

It is very difficult to be an optimist in the face of the growing Islamization of Europe. All the tides are against us. On all fronts we are losing. Demographically the momentum is with Islam. Muslim immigration is even a source of pride within ruling liberal parties. Academia, the arts, the media, trade unions, the churches, the business world, the entire political establishment have all converted to the suicidal theory of multiculturalism. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a ‘right-wing extremists’ or ‘racists’. The entire establishment has sided with our enemy. Leftists, liberals and Christian-Democrats are now all in bed with Islam.

This is the most painful thing to see: the betrayal by our elites. At this moment in Europe’s history, our elites are supposed to lead us. To stand up for centuries of civilization. To defend our heritage. To honour our eternal Judeo-Christian values that made Europe what it is today. But there are very few signs of hope to be seen at the governmental level. Sarkozy, Merkel, Brown, Berlusconi; in private, they probably know how grave the situation is. But when the little red light goes on, they stare into the camera and tell us that Islam is a religion of peace, and we should all try to get along nicely and sing Kumbaya. They willingly participate in, what President Reagan so aptly called: “the betrayal of our past, the squandering of our freedom.”

If there is hope in Europe, it comes from the people, not from the elites. Change can only come from a grass-roots level. It has to come from the citizens themselves. Yet these patriots will have to take on the entire political, legal and media establishment.

Over the past years there have been some small, but encouraging, signs of a rebirth of the original European spirit. Maybe the elites turn their backs on freedom, the public does not. In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat to our national identity. I don’t think the public opinion in Holland is very different from other European countries.

Patriotic parties that oppose jihad are growing, against all odds. My own party debuted two years ago, with five percent of the vote. Now it stands at ten percent in the polls. The same is true of all smililary-minded parties in Europe. They are fighting the liberal establishment, and are gaining footholds on the political arena, one voter at the time.

Now, for the first time, these patriotic parties will come together and exchange experiences. It may be the start of something big. Something that might change the map of Europe for decades to come. It might also be Europe’s last chance.

This December a conference will take place in Jerusalem. Thanks to Professor Aryeh Eldad, a member of Knesset, we will be able to watch Fitna in the Knesset building and discuss the jihad. We are organizing this event in Israel to emphasize the fact that we are all in the same boat together, and that Israel is part of our common heritage. Those attending will be a select audience. No racist organizations will be allowed. And we will only admit parties that are solidly democratic.

This conference will be the start of an Alliance of European patriots. This Alliance will serve as the backbone for all organizations and political parties that oppose jihad and Islamization. For this Alliance I seek your support.

This endeavor may be crucial to America and to the West. America may hold fast to the dream that, thanks tot its location, it is safe from jihad and shaira. But seven years ago to the day, there was still smoke rising from ground zero, following the attacks that forever shattered that dream. Yet there is a danger even greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America – as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem.

This is not the first time our civilization is under threat. We have seen dangers before. We have been betrayed by our elites before. They have sided with our enemies before. And yet, then, freedom prevailed.

These are not times in which to take lessons from appeasement, capitulation, giving away, giving up or giving in. These are not times in which to draw lessons from Mr. Chamberlain. These are times calling us to draw lessons from Mr. Churchill and the words he spoke in 1942:

“Never give in, never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy”.
