Iran’s Rouhani threatened the United States. He indicated that we will face consequences if Trump bolts from the nuclear agreement signed by Obama. Take note; this deal was never OK’d by Congress.

President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday Iran had plans to respond to any move by U.S. President Donald Trump on the 2015 nuclear agreement and the United States would regret a decision to exit the accord. Trump has said unless European allies rectify “flaws” in Tehran’s nuclear agreement with world powers by May 12 he will refuse to extend US sanctions relief for Iran.

The cognoscenti understand that Obama reached a false promise with his Muslim Brothers, then handed over $150 billion to them for good measure. The United States got nothing in return. Now Trump has to fix this charade.

Trump sees three defects in the agreement: a failure to address Iran’s ballistic missile program; the terms under which international inspectors can visit suspect Iranian nuclear sites; and “sunset” clauses under which key limits on the Iranian nuclear program start to expire.

At a news conference with Trump on Tuesday, Macron said he wanted “to work on a new deal with Iran” to address four things: limiting Iran’s nuclear program in the short term and long term, restraining its ballistic missile activities and curbing what the West sees as its destabilizing behavior in the Middle East.
