Rashida Tlaib was in the end given permission to see her 90 year old grandmother, but because of restrictions place on her visit to Israel, she declined. She said that to visit her grandmother under these circumstances would have broken her grandmother’s heart.
“I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in – fighting against racism, oppression & injustice,” she wrote on Twitter.
Of course blowing up Israelis is OK, calling for boycotts is OK. But does she speak out against Syrian dictator Assad for killing 500,000 innocent people? Know, because that is Muslims killing Christians. Racism in Israel society? How about cleaning up your GAZA mess run by ruthless killers of Hamas. That is OK.
