Obama was a cool dude. He had charisma. His public appearance were well choreographed, his words parsed with panache. However, when the situation came up that involved race, he surreptitiously created a brushfire one that divided the country. How so? For instance, in the Trayvon Martin affair, Obama said, “if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.” On the other hand US President Barack Obama has said police officers “acted stupidly” when they arrested a black professor who they thought was trying to break into a house. Harvard University professor Henry Gates was forcing open the door to his Massachusetts home when police were called. He showed them his identification but they arrested him, saying he was being loud and tumultuous. Professor Gates said he was targeted because he was black. In this case we agree with Obama. The police were ardent racists, typical of a bad apple in the barrel. But overall most policemen are there to help, keep order, protect and serve.
In both cases, Obama was implying that Blacks are always under suspicion no matter where they live, what their education level is, in their work environment and out in public. Of course, from our perspective that is not the way we see it. As an example, the great city of Chicago has an image problem because 750 people were killed last year, the majority of them resided in the South Side. Those killings very rarely occurred outside the hood but an outsider’s view is a whole lot different. To the initiated, seeing Chicago, Obama’s hometown, as a killing field is not true. Those who live and work there have no problem walking the streets at night. Although they are mindful of the societal breakdown in the Southside. Two different views, two different perspectives; a microcosm window into the macrocosm of country life.
Like the Mafia, Obama was the Capo de Tutti, his captain was another avowed racist; Eric Holder played that role. In fact Holder, like Obama, never let a crisis go to waste. Holder, “Tea Party warnings about the direction of the country – were in part racially motivated. “There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president. You know, people talking about taking their country back.” “There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.” “though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards.”v
The attorney general was outspoken in his condemnation of Republican-dominated legislatures that have passed new voter ID laws that have been decried as thinly-veiled attempts to restrict black voters’ access to the polls. The Department of Justice is currently suing Texas and North Carolina over their new voter ID legislation, and is expected to do the same in Ohio and Wisconsin. “I’m attorney general of the United States. I will not stand for – I will not allow people to take away that which people gave their lives to give, and that is the ability for the American people to vote,” he said.
In May 2009, Holder’s Department of Justice completed a civil suit originally brought by J. Christian Adams of the Bush Justice Department against the New Black Panther Party, its chairman, and two of its members for voter intimidation due to their conduct during the 2008 election. Two members of the Party had stood outside a polling station during the election in paramilitary uniforms, one carrying a nightstick. Claiming a lack of evidence, the Department of Justice dropped charges against the party, its chairman, and one of the two members who had stood outside the polling station. There is no doubt Holder’s decision not to prosecute was based on race.

Their modus operandi is to stir the racial cauldron; in their continuing effort to keep Jim Crow alive. However, they have failed to provide proof of people of Color not being able to cast a ballot. Pulling the race card makes good theater. Obama, half White, Holder most likely the the recipient of White blood should be “TALKING UP AMERICA.” They are the quintessential examples of freedom, liberty, justice and most of all the “pursuit of happiness that they enjoy by being citizens of the United States. How did they make in a racist society? We know that White America is the least racist society on Earth. But because some segments of the populations feel they are entitled to everything doesn’t mean White America is to blame. Look in the mirror. Our advice to those, open up your ears and listen for a change. Just because we don’t agree with your agenda doesn’t mean we are Racist. Take that to the bank.
