With a growing number of elected officials calling for him to resign and Albany’s leadership preparing an impeachment case, Gov. Andrew Cuomo faces a rough road ahead politically.
But he also faces the possibility of criminal charges.
On Tuesday, State Attorney General Letitia James’ released a damning 168-page report detailing a stunning history of claims — mostly corroborated — alleging that Cuomo made inappropriate comments, planted unwanted kisses and even groped women in the state’s employ and otherwise.

On the Virginia Department of Education website, several examples of the department promoting Critical Race Theory can be found, including a presentation from 2015, when Terry McAullife was governor, that encourages teachers to “embrace Critical Race Theory” in “order to re-engineer attitudes and belief systems.”

The Connecticut Communist Party held its annual People’s World Amistad Awards on Saturday, December 12, the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party USA.
The awards were presented to SEIU 1199 NE President Rob Baril, President of the Connecticut chapter of the American Federation of Teachers Jan Hochadel, Hartford City Councilwoman Wildaliz Bermudez and Barbara Vereen, staff director of Unite Here Local 34, the union representing clerical and technical workers at Yale University.
The Connecticut AFT represents 15,000 state and municipal employees throughout Connecticut.
Rep. Edwin Vargas, D-Hartford, also presented an award to Hartford City Councilwoman Wildaliz Bermudez of the Working Families Party.

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe’s campaign raised eyebrows by spending nearly $60,000 to hire a high-profile attorney known for masterminding election-related legal challenges. When Fox News sent the campaign a request for comment, the McAuliffe campaign scrambled to “kill” the story, according to emails mistakenly sent to Fox News.
Less than a month before Election Day, McAuliffe’s campaign spent $53,680 on the services of the Elias Law Group, a firm that Marc Elias started earlier this year, Fox News previously reported. Elias had formerly worked as a partner at the law firm Perkins Coie, which the Hillary Clinton campaign hired in 2016 in order to conduct opposition research on Donald Trump – research that included the infamous Christopher Steele dossier. Republicans have accused Elias of lying to hide the Clinton campaign’s role in funding the dossier.
