The Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that Trump’s DC criminal trial, the one concerning his attempt to steal the 2020 presidential election, must be delayed for at least another two months. The Court already effectively delayed his trial for an additional two and a half months in an order handed down last December.

This order is a colossal victory for Trump, and could potentially allow him to evade criminal responsibility for his attempts to overthrow the 2020 election altogether. Trump’s goal is to delay his trials until after Election Day. Should he prevail in that election, he can then order the Justice Department to drop all federal charges against him.

Trump was able to secure such an order from the justices by exploiting the fact that the federal judiciary ordinarily does not allow two different courts to have jurisdiction over the same case at the same time. So, when a party to a lawsuit or criminal proceeding appeals a trial court’s decision, the trial court often loses authority over that case until the appeal is resolved.

The ostensible reason for the Court’s order putting the trial on ice is that the Court needs that time to consider a weak appeal challenging a ruling by Judge Tanya Chutkan, the judge presiding over his DC criminal trial.

According to Trump, the Constitution forbids any prosecution of a former president for any “official acts” he engaged in while in office. The implications of this argument are astounding, and Trump’s lawyers haven’t exactly tried to hide them. During one court hearing, the former president’s lawyer told a judge that Trump could not be prosecuted even if he had ordered “SEAL Team 6 to assassinate a political rival,” unless Trump were also impeached and convicted by the Senate.

It’s hard to imagine the Supreme Court signing onto this argument, which has already been rejected by two other courts.

Yet Trump has now, with Wednesday’s ruling, leveraged this ridiculous legal argument to delay his DC trial for at least four and a half months, and the delay will likely extend much longer because the Court will need time to produce an opinion. The Court will hear oral arguments in late April.

Simply put, Wednesday’s order is a disaster for anyone hoping that Trump may face trial before the November election. And, because the nominal reason for this order is to give the justices more time to decide if the president is completely above the law, this decision raises serious doubts about whether this Court can be trusted to oversee Trump-related cases in a nonpartisan manner.

Former President Donald Trump racked up a hat trick of Republican caucus wins, as he was declared the winner in the Idaho caucus Saturday night after winning similar victories in Michigan and Missouri earlier in the day.

The wins brough Trump one step closer to sweeping the map and securing the 2024 GOP nomination over his sole remaining challenger Nikki Haley — who has vowed to stay in at least through next week’s 15 Super Tuesday contests.

The authors of the book “White Rural Rage: The Threat to American Democracy,” argued that White, rural voters in America are the most dangerous group in America.

Several dark scenarios for the future have been posed, but each is quite different. One is the threat of a stolen election — Republicans could outright steal elections Democrats won, as Trump tried to do, perhaps enhanced by mob violence. Another is the minority rule threat, in which Republicans could consistently win according to the rules but without getting a majority of votes nationwide, due to advantages in the Senate, Electoral College, and redistricting.

There has also been much discussion of the threat of voter suppression. Democrats worry that GOP policy changes making it more difficult to vote could thwart a majority’s will.

So these pervs make the claim that Trump tried to steal the election. Not true, the election was stolen because the giant media corporations would not print the truth concerning Hunter’s laptop. They called it Russian disinformation; now the real facts come out, If they did 8 days before the election, Trump would now be President. And don’t forget the 51 notables who signed on to the Russian disinformation. Now the FEC is being sued.

The electoral college prevents a few states from determining from choosing the president, The Founding Fathers saw this happening 250 years ago. Redistricting, goes both ways, But they don’t admit that redistricting takes into account millions of illegal aliens who are counted in representative tabulation.

Another fear is less about the way Republicans win power, but is more about what they’ll do with it. Let’s call this the irresponsible party threat. For the people with this point of view, any Republican win — even one with sweeping voter majorities — is dangerous, since a faction that does not respect democracy is influential and arguably dominant in the party.

Imagine these Pervs calling a majority win by a Republican Dangerous, when the opposite is true. You don’t have to look any further than these Pervs.

These aren’t Americans, they are Garbage, needed to be thrown into the dumpster.

For months, President Joe Biden and his advisors have alleged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is captive to the “ultra-conservative” ministers in his coalition government, and out of step with mainstream Israeli public opinion.

Even worse, they accuse Netanyahu of unnecessarily prolonging the war to avoid elections.

According to this line, mainstream Israelis are with Biden.

If it weren’t the hardliners in his government, Netanyahu would be suing for a hostage deal at any price; agreeing with Biden that the terror-laced Palestinian Authority should take over Gaza after the war; joining Biden’s push for Palestinian statehood, and accepting a ceasefire that won’t bring all the hostages home or destroy Hamas militarily or politically.

But as a Direct Polls survey of Israeli public opinion from February 13 showed, Biden’s claim of prolonging the Israeli offensive is a gross mischaracterization of the nation’s public opinion.

The Netanyahu government set three goals for the war: Eradicating Hamas as a military force and as a regime; releasing all of the hostages; and preventing Gaza from posing a threat to Israel in the future.

The survey showed that upwards of three quarters of Israelis support all of these goals. 

Some 92 percent of Israelis oppose allowing Hamas to continue to exist in Gaza after the war; 84% oppose agreeing to end the war in exchange for the unreasonable hostage deal now on the table; 74% oppose Palestinian statehood.

And 73% of Israelis support an Israeli ground offensive to seize control over the southern border town of Rafah, even if it causes an open confrontation with the Biden administration.

Tlaib called on Muslim and progressive voters in Michigan to vote “Uncommitted” rather than vote for Biden in the Michigan primaries which took place on Tuesday.

The idea was to send Biden a clear message: Support Israel and lose Michigan. The "uncommitted" effort was led in part by progressive Michigan Cong. Rashida Tlaib.

The Border Patrol union mocked President Biden’s visit to the southern border in Texas this week.

Trump will stop these invaders faster than a bullet.

The National Border Patrol Council posted a fake joke itinerary for the 81-year-old president’s trek down to Brownsville, Texas in a tweet on Saturday — accompanied by a photo of Biden fast asleep in a beach chair.

“Board AF1, take nap,” the post said. “Wake up in place called Brownsville. Read large teleprompter message, ‘It’s all Trump’s fault.’”

“Board AF1, ask who people in green uniforms were, told they ‘strap’  illegal aliens, express horror, take nap,” the union’s tweet continued. “Wake up, call a lid, hit beach, take nap.”

While visiting the border city on Thursday, Biden called on Trump — who was also visiting the border about 325 miles away at Eagle Pass, Texas — to stop “playing politics” with the migrant crisis and urged Congressional Republicans to support his bipartisan border security  bill.

At Eagle Pass, which has been ground zero for illegal border crossings, Trump blasted what he called a “Joe Biden invasion” of American territory.

He claimed the country is “being overrun by the migrant crime —  including the recent murder of 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was allegedly slain by an illegal migrant from Venezuela.

“The parents are devastated and they’re incredible people,” Trump said. “This is a Joe Biden invasion. A Biden invasion. I call him crooked Joe… the most incompetent president we’ve ever had.”

 

ARIZONA GOES ALL IN – FEDERAL JUDGE SAYS SHOW US PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

While supporters said the measures would affect only voters who have not shown proof of citizenship, voting advocates claimed hundreds of thousands of people who haven’t recently updated their voter registration or driver’s license could be affected.

The ruling states that Arizona has required documentary proof of citizenship since 2005, and the new laws supplement that requirement to ensure non-citizens do not register to vote or remain on the voter rolls.

One of the two measures examined by Bolton would require state election officials to cross check registration information with various government databases to try to prove their citizenship and report anyone they can’t find to prosecutors.

“The court finds that though it may occur, non-citizens voting in Arizona is quite rare, and non-citizen voter fraud in Arizona is rarer still,” the ruling states. “But while the voting laws are not likely to meaningfully reduce possible non-citizen voting in Arizona, they could help to prevent non-citizens from registering or voting.”

U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton ruled over a 2023 bench trial that oversaw complaints originating from the Department of Justice and seven different advocacy groups on Arizona house bills that they claimed were discriminatory against minority voters in Arizona.

PHOENIX (AP) — A federal judge is upholding provisions of new Arizona laws that would require counties to verify the status of registered voters who haven’t provided proof of U.S. citizenship and cross-check voter registration information with various government databases.

In a ruling Thursday, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton concluded Arizona legislators did not discriminate when they adopted the laws and the state does have an interest in preventing voter fraud and limiting voting to those individuals eligible to vote.

“Considering the evidence as a whole, the court concludes that Arizona’s interests in preventing non-citizens from voting and promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide (documentary proof of citizenship),” she wrote.

HB 2492 made it lawful to require proof of citizenship to participate in state elections.

FIRST ON FOX: A nonpartisan election integrity watchdog has released a detailed report outlining over a dozen “critical reforms” that need to be undertaken in states across the U.S. leading up to the 2024 election in order to “secure voter integrity.”

“We believe very strongly in making it easier to vote and harder to cheat, and in order to do that, there’s a comprehensive set of basic rules and safeguards that I believe every state should adopt and should follow,” Honest Elections Project (HEP) Executive Director Jason Snead told Fox News Digital about the “Safeguarding Our Elections” report released on Friday.

“We’ve built everything in this report out over the last few years, talking with experts, working with states, seeing what works and what doesn’t work, just as importantly, and then trying to bring it all together into a single, consolidated, concise piece of literature that you can drop this on the desk of lawmaker, and they can go out and they can get these reforms passed and make their elections work better the voters.“
The report calls for “honest rules for honest elections” and lists 14 main areas that states should address, including banning ranked choice voting, blocking “Zuck Bucks 2.0,” banning non-citizens from voting in elections, consolidating election dates, requiring voter ID, and protecting vulnerable mail ballots.

The House of Representatives Democrats led a small delegation on the undisclosed trip to the island nation last week amid the worsening border crisis affecting everyday Americans here at home, according to a new report late Tuesday.

Far-left “Squad” members Omar and Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) Chair Jayapal led the group of a dozen people, including a staffer from the office of Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., to Havana, where they, according to a spokesperson for the CPC, “met with people from across Cuban civil society and government officials to discuss human rights and the U.S.-Cuba bilateral relationship.”

The trip was not disclosed by anyone involved and was not reported by Cuban state media despite the ongoing embargo against the communist island nation by the U.S., the Miami Herald reported.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the offices of Omar, Jayapal and Lee for comment.

Two prominent progressive lawmakers traveled to Cuba during the House’s recess last week.
