One wonders where Israel obtains clandestine information that lies deep in the mountains of Iran. But one also wonders where Hamas, after being bombed to hell, still has weapons. This is beyond belief. In today’s world spying is an offensive sport, played by all nations. Cloak and Dager (C&D) schools prevail under the dark of night, beyond closed doors; spying is as old as adultry. Quantico Virginia is our home base.
To answer the second question first, Hamas is supplied by Iran. The Octopus has spread its tentacles beyond its borders, causing destruction to its perceived enemies, the U.S. included.
Israel’s intelligent network is comprised of agents who have been vetted to the Nth degree. But just like a casino, there are seconds who spy on them, thirds who spy on the second, forths who spy on the thirds and so-on down the line. When you are dealing with the nuances of spying, caution must prevail.
Besides a countries own network, there are other networks in operation 24/7 – these networks work undercover in foreign countries. Most of them are comprised of nationals, fitting in with the common folk, blending in with the crowd. Very rarely are they suspected of being on the otherside. Some are commputer experts, electronic technicians, even physicists or engineers, Their clandestine work is very rarely uncovered and if it is, it is too late; they have vanished into the night.
We will give you an example. For instance, a computer expert is unhappy with his position, low pay, no chance of advancement, many time he makes this known to his peers. So after work his colleagues go to ‘happy hour’ for a few. The Mark expresses his disdain for the boss. Nearby, our spy is intently listening to the conversation. He has found a mark.
Approached after the team members leave, C&D casually asks the mark if he would like some company. So now both carry on a casual conversation. This goes on for many months and many drinks later their families get together; before you know it they are best friends. Keep in mind that Cloak and Dagger patiently sets the table.
We don’t have to go into explicit details, but money alway greases the skids. Once hooked, our Mark is now compromised. Another ploy involves a vivacious women, sex is a man’s downfall and so it will be with many Marks. Who would not want to sleep with a beautiful woman? As we said before, spies cover their tracks well, if they don’t do their job, exit time is becomes necessary. Could be a hit and run motor vehicle acccident or perhaps a stray bullet.
One of the most introduction into the C & D business is through a turncoat; one who jumps sides. This can go both ways, but it seems that many Palestinians, Leabonese, Syrians, Jordanians, Iraqis, and Iranians have gone this route. This takes cunning to be able to survive in this type of environment. They must be cautious because every once in awhile they are compromised; when this happens, bang bang. Game Over.
However, the Israeli intelligence is beyond the norm, with out any doubt their spy network is beyond approach. One wonders on how they are able to spread their wings in such dangerous conditions. They are truly “Cloak and Dagger.”
