Trump says Iran ‘cannot have a nuclear weapon,’ describes negotiators as ‘crazy’

President Donald Trump told Fox News regarding Iran that “We really had the confines of a deal,” but then “the next day it’s like we didn’t have that conversation, and that’s taken place about five times.” He added that “they’re crazy” and “Because of that, they cannot have a nuclear weapon.”

Tehran media signals deep frustration over Trump’s Beijing

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi claimed economic woes are coming for the U.S. after it launched a “war of choice on Iran.”

“Americans are told that they must absorb rocketing costs of war of choice on Iran,” he wrote on X on Friday.

“Put aside gas price hike and stock market bubble. Real pain begins when U.S. debt and mortgage rates start to jump,” he added. “This was all avoidable.”

The comments come as oil prices remain elevated with tensions high in the Strait of Hormuz.
