But the protests have since spread to other locations on or near the Canadian border, including the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, where a protest caused long backups and at one point stopped traffic in both directions.

The bridge, which carries 25% of all trade between Canada and the United States, remains blocked on the road to Canada.

Protesters have also closed another important U.S.-Canada border crossing in Coutts, Alberta. They have said they will not leave until all vaccine mandates and COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Some have also called for the removal of Trudeau’s government.

The campaign of “Squad” Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., has paid out $170,000 to an anti-Israel activist who has called Israel an “apartheid state” and has called for defunding the police multiple times.

Tlaib’s campaign has paid $147,000 to Unbought Power LLC, a political consulting and advocacy firm run by Rasha Mubarak, since March 2020. Tlaib’s leadership PAC, Rooted in Community Leadership, which lists Mubarak as a “treasurer,” has paid Unbought Power another $23,000 since October 2020, according to Federal Elections Commission (FEC) filings reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Mubarak, a “Palestinian Muslim American community activist,” has a history of making anti-Israel statements online and calling Israel an “apartheid state.”

“These aren’t clashes— it’s an ongoing occupation. These aren’t evictions— they are forced expulsions,” Mubarak tweeted in May of last year. “This isn’t a conflict— it’s settler colonialism, it’s ethnic cleansing, it’s oppression, it’s apartheid.”

“Say it loud. Say it clear. Palestine will be FREE,” she continued with the hashtag “#SaveSheikhJarrah.”

Mubarak also attacked Democratic Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida, who is Jewish, in September of last year over his remarks pushing back against Tlaib labeling Israel an apartheid state.

“Oh look it’s [Deutch] throwing another tantrum,” the “activist” tweeted. “He used his time to attack [Tlaib] for underscoring facts also made by Human Rights Watch [and B’Tselem] — Israel is indeed an apartheid state.”

“He’s flustered [because] how else does one rebuttal the truth?” she claimed. “Bullying [and] disparagement.”

 “Freedom Convoy,” donors flocked to Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo to support truckers protesting vaccine mandates in Ottawa.

The founder and CFO of the platform, Jacob Wells, is now calling out GoFundMe and Big Tech for their “authoritarian style of social platforms,” which he says promote bias as fact and causes further division.

The campaign “Freedom Convoy 2022” has raised nearly $5 million through GiveSendGo as of Monday.

It is unclear from the videos if Ms. Boyland was alive at this time, but two rioters — one wielding a stick and the other a crutch — launched a new attack on the police at 4:27 p.m., making it virtually impossible for officers to give her aid, if they were able to notice her at all.

Boyland is visible in a video lying on her side in front of the door, her black hooded sweatshirt, arm and face partially visible, as men clash with police above her.

As noted from the NY Times, there is no mention of police beating her.

It’s one thing when journalists want people deplatformed. Countless articles and columns are veiled demands for censorship. It’s far more serious coming from the White House.

Spotify recently posted warning labels on episodes of Joe Rogan’s podcasts about COVID-19. “So, this disclaimer, it’s a positive step,” said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, “but we want every platform to continue doing more to call out misinformation while also uplifting accurate information.”

The assumption is that the government knows what is “misinformation” and what is “accurate.” Joe Rogan posted his own response to Spotify, admitting that he occasionally gets things wrong. However, he also pointed out that the supposed science — the expert opinion about COVID-19 — has changed over the course of the pandemic.

That didn’t end the controversy. Musicians Neil Young, David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills pulled their music from Spotify. “While we always value alternate points of view,” said a statement from the latter three, “knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences.” They said a “concern for humanity must be balanced with commerce.” Others may pull their music. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also reportedly “expressed concerns” to Spotify about “misinformation.”

This goes beyond Covid. India Arie, who is apparently a musician, pulled her music because of Joe Rogan’s “language about race.” Joe Rogan made a throwaway comment during an interview with Jordan Peterson that the term “black” was “weird” unless “you’re talking to someone who is like 100 percent African, from the darkest place.” This is apparently serious; CNN promoted Miss Arie’s campaign.
