INMATES RUNNING THE INSTITUTION

The rapist was thrown from the roof, accused of a monstrously egregious crime, that of fabricating reality. Apologies not withstanding, they suddenly come down with writers remorse. Of course we are eluding to a criminal on the deviant side, raping with abandon the written word. We find these types all the time, covered with ink and other various tools of persuasion and dreaming up stories to solidify their political agenda with conveyor belt abandon of fake news.

Many of the subjects they write about, receive glowing, and we might add, blown up egos from their fifth estate brethren. Why not, they are on the same page no matter what the subject. That is well and good until the public becomes aware of some of these antics. And today we are seeing the domino effect, many of the high and mighty have been blown from their perch. Just the other day, one of the old timers called it quits another was let go like a hot potato and another given a sabbatical. Dropping by the wayside are the holier than now pervs – the ones who never thought a second about throwing the stone from their glass house.

Attention getting “gotcha” stories are fraught with risk because the public, once admiring shock journalism, is sick and tired of biased interviews and propaganda reporting. Making the news is causing much havoc in the media world; public participation has dropped quicker than NFL attendance,. Hence they are given a kick in the groin.

News networks are on the defensive, imploding as we speak, once top draws have been euthanized, a all too late measure to stop the bleeding. Fake news will live on so will the proclivity of sexual innuendo, but what seems as a band aid may be worse than the alleged wrong doing itself.

TRUMP – THE JEWISH MESSIAH

TRUMP ANNOUNCES US MOVING EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the US recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and would move its embassy there, upending decades of a diplomatic consensus over the status of the city pioneered by his predecessors.

Citing a 1995 law, the Jerusalem Embassy Act, compelling the president make the move absent national security risks, Trump said the time had come to recognize what everyone already knows to be true. “Jerusalem is the capital the Jewish people established in ancient times,” he said. “Today Jerusalem is the seat of Israel’s government.”

Tearing up convention, the US president recognises Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

At one time the Christians were berated as fools – believers of a foreign God bent on secret rituals. Paganism still ruled the land of Caesar. Anti-Christian policies in the Roman Empire occurred intermittently over a period of over two centuries until the year 313AD when the Roman Emperors Constantine the Great and Licinius jointly promulgated the Edict of Milan which legalised the Christian religion. The persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire was carried out by the state and also by local authorities on a sporadic, ad hoc basis, often at the whims of local communities. Starting in 250, empire-wide persecution took place by decree of the emperor Decius. The edict was in force for eighteen months, during which time some Christians were killed while others betrayed their faith to escape execution.

The Torches of Nero, by Henryk Siemiradzki. According to Tacitus, Nero used Christians as human torches.

But what goes around usually comes around. The Christians of yesterday are the Jews of today. They have been ostracized for millennia for their faith. At last count there were only 12 million who believed in Judaism. However, small their lot they continue to be blamed for the world’s problems. Let it be said that the Holy Bible is well documented. It records biblical history in minute detail, spelling out who occupied the Holy Land from time immemorial till 70 A.D. when the Romans sacked Jerusalem and ran the remaining Jews out of the country.

However, there were always Jews living there surreptitiously. And History records Judah and Israel as the map shows.Image result for ancient israel map Click here for more maps of ancient Israel. It is very important to mention that when the Ottoman Turks controlled the Levant (Palestine – in actuality Israel and Judah) there was never a cry by the Muslim population for statehood. It wasn’t until the Jews pressed for their right did the pseudo Palestinians (MADE UP PEOPLE – “FAKASTINIANS” if you will, demanded blood.)

THE QUR’AN SAYS THAT ALLAH GAVE THE LAND OF ISRAEL TO THE JEWS
AND WILL RESTORE THEM TO IT AT THE END OF DAYS

THE QUR’AN SAYS:

“To Moses We [Allah] gave nine clear signs. Ask the Israelites how he [Moses] first appeared amongst them. Pharoah said to him: ‘Moses, I can see that you are bewitched.’ ‘You know full well,’ he [Moses] replied, ‘that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Pharoah, you are doomed.’”

“Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: ‘Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel].”

“We [Allah] have revealed the Qur’an with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you [Muhammed] forth only to proclaim good news and to give warning.”

[Qur’an, “Night Journey,” chapter 17:100-104]

I trace the origin of today’s war against the west to the post World War I period, 1918-1921. This was a time when new sovereign nations were emerging in Europe and the winds of freedom and hope were sweeping across a Middle East that had been suppressed for centuries by the recently defunct Ottoman Turkish Empire.

In those heady years, many Arabs and Muslims reverently hoped that new and modern sovereign Arab nations would develop alongside a Jewish State existing in the ancestral homeland promised to the Jews by the almighty in a Torah that was, and is, considered to be divine by Muslims and Christians as well as by Jews.

In fact, like the Christian New Testament, the Koran, the holy book of Islam, recognizes Israel as a Jewish State in the following passages:

…. “the words of Moses to his people. He said: “Remember, my people, the favors, which Allah has bestowed upon you…. Enter, my people, the holy land which Allah has assigned for you.” (Sura V) …. “When the promise of the hereafter cometh to pass (at Judgment Day) we shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations.” (Sura XVII: 104)

When the British took over the land of Israel, suddenly the dream of a homeland for the Jews became a real possibility as opposed to a fervent hope.

By this time, there were between 85,000 to 100,000 Jews living in the Land of Israel, of a total population of 600,000. (See History of the Jews by Paul Johnson, p. 430.) Most of the Arabs living in the land had migrated there only in the previous thirty years attracted by the jobs created by the Jews who were building and farming. (Note that when Jews began to immigrate to Palestine in large numbers in 1882, fewer than 250,000 Arabs lived there.

To capture the essence of the conflict the Jews don’t have use hyperbole to validate their point. The facts going back five thousand years are well documented and support the Israeli position. This does not sit well with the Arabs who in most case fail to accept history.

Bluntly stated the Jewsish Democrats who got succered in backing Obama for the past eight years, they no who they are, must be defeated in their reelection bids.

If these Jews were Catholic, there is no doubt they would be asking the Priest for absolution, for they COMMITTED A MORTAL SIN AGAINST ISRAEL AND GOD.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION – DEMOCRATS ARE PLAYING A DANGEROUS GAME – HUGE WIN FOR TRUMP

Americans at large are a very empathetic lot. Most have given their all, building this country. They fought in foreign wars protecting others from tyranny, braved ice cold winters and burning summers in defense of liberty, volunteered their time and money when no else would, but most of all they gave their hearts in making a world a better place. But some Americans, you know who they are, Democrats, don’t give a hoot about our sacrifices. To them the White Man is a devil, responsible for what ails the world. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Their ultimate objective is to denigrate and decimate all the hard work that has gone before. Case in point, the Democrats find it repulsive to protect our borders from illegal aliens; they want open borders allowing more criminals into the country. They fail to take responsibility for the murders and crime perpetrated by illegals. Sanctuary cities are harbors for the illegal criminal element.

Democrats are adamant against the WALL. You may ask why? Simply stated the Liberal-Progressive mind will not be happy until the country is minority based.  White racists are the progressives enemy. However, the important point here is that the 11 million illegal aliens here have anchored 30 million babies, all are United States citizens. Letting the Democrats have their way will ensure that another twenty million will team up with those already here. The bottom line here is simple; the Supreme Court must rule on the anchor baby syndrome regarding the 14th Amendment. SEE BELOW.

These numbers are serious because in 30 years or less the White man will be at the beck and call of the minority who will then be the majority. Increases in crime, murder and social demands will no doubt make America Venezuela.  As noted before, in 20 years, 70% of the people will be living in 15 states with 30 Senators and 30% of the people will be living in states with 70 Senators. The Demoperverts don’t like these statistics. And they will do everything in their power to stop the White majority in those 35 states to stymie their efforts to totally control the country.  Will a Civil War erupt? That is the question.

But today, the Supreme Court gave a thumbs up to President Trump in a TRAVEL BAN  WINSupreme Court OKs major Trump policy after months of courtroom fights

Handing the White House a huge judicial victory, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday ruled in favor of President Trump’s travel ban affecting residents of six majority-Muslim countries.

14TH AMENDMENT

Two years after the Civil War, the Reconstruction Acts of 1867 divided the South into five military districts, where new state governments, based on universal manhood suffrage, were to be established. Thus began the period known as Radical Reconstruction, which saw the 14th Amendment, which had been passed by Congress in 1866, ratified in July 1868. The amendment resolved pre-Civil War questions of African American citizenship by stating that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States…are citizens of the United States and of the state in which they reside.” The amendment then reaffirmed the privileges and rights of all citizens, and granted all these citizens the “equal protection of the laws.”

AN UN-GOING CRIME IS BEING COMMITTED – THE SUPREME COURT MUST ONCE AGAIN MUST STEP IN AND ADJUDICATE

the jurisdiction thereof.”

Overwhelming evidence against the interpretation of “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” or “not subject to any foreign power” as reaffirming the common law doctrine of citizenship by birth to aliens can be found following the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment. In 1867 George Helm Yeaman, United States Minister to Denmark, in his well received treatise on allegiance and citizenship, which was presented to Secretary of State William H. Seward, said: “But the idea of a double allegiance and citizenship united in the same person, and having reference to two separate, independent, and sovereign nations or governments, is simply an impossibility.”

In the year 1873 the United States Attorney General ruled the word “jurisdiction” under the Fourteenth Amendment to mean, which Justice Gray would recognize in Elk v.Wilkins years later:

The word “jurisdiction” must be understood to mean absolute and complete jurisdiction, such as the United States had over its citizens before the adoption of this amendment… Aliens, among whom are persons born here and naturalized abroad, dwelling or being in this country, are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States only to a limited extent. Political and military rights and duties do not pertain to them. (14 Op. Atty-Gen. 300.)

House Report No. 784, dated June 22, 1874, stated, “The United States have not recognized a double allegiance. By our law a citizen is bound to be ‘true and faithful’ alone to our government.” There is no way in the world anyone can claim “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” affirms the feudal common law doctrine of birth citizenship to aliens because such doctrine by operation creates a “double allegiance” between separate nations.

If there is one inescapable truth to the text and debates, it is this: When Congress decided to require potential citizens to first be subject to the complete jurisdiction of the United States they by default excluded all citizens of other nations temporarily residing in the U.S. who had no intention of becoming citizens themselves or, disqualified of doing so under naturalization laws. This was no oversight because it was too simple to declare the common law rule of jus soli if indeed that was truly the desired goal by these very competent lawyers (both Howard and Trumbull were lawyers).

Aaron Sargent, a Representative from California during the Naturalization Act of 1870 debates said the Fourteenth Amendment’s citizenship clause was not a de-facto right for aliens to obtain citizenship. No one came forward to dispute this conclusion.

Perhaps because he was absolutely correct.

THE POLITICALIZATION OF THE FBI – AN INSIDE JOB

The initiated comprehend the ramifications of a special prosecutor due to the politicalization of the Deep State; including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The pass given to Hillary (LOCK HER UP) Clinton was the icing on the cake. Caught in lie after lie she still has not been brought to justice. And the same goes for Loretta Lynch, breaking bread in a collusive tarmac meeting with Slick Willie. Of course this was planned in advance, no coincidence on this one.

And James Comey, what needs to be said about him; a political hack who lacked the independence we would expect from the Bureau. Again we must emphasize the DEEP STATE is filled with Democrat lackeys who do the bidding for the progressive-liberals who appointed them.

But the icing on the cake is the revelation of a department employee who messaged anti-Trump remarks to a colleague. Two senior Justice Department officials have confirmed to Fox News that the department’s Office of Inspector General is reviewing the role played in the Hillary Clinton email investigation by Peter Strzok, a former deputy director for counterintelligence at the FBI who was removed from the staff of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III earlier this year, after (CLICK-IMPORTANT READ)Mueller learned that Strzok had exchanged anti-Trump texts with a colleague.

The swamp is deeper than anyone every envisioned; it is a quagmire of political appointees knee deep in corruption and cloak and dagger.

President Trump suggested Sunday that news reports about an FBI agent on the agency’s Hillary Clinton email investigation who also opposed Trump explains why the Clinton case was closed without criminal charges.

“Report: ‘ANTI-TRUMP FBI AGENT LED CLINTON EMAIL PROBE’ Now it all starts to make sense!” Trump said in one of three tweets Sunday on the issue.

The office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller confirmed with Fox News on Saturday that agent Peter Strzok had been removed from Mueller’s investigation into Russia collusion after the Justice Department’s inspector general started examining Strzok’s electronic messages with a colleague, which reportedly included ones that were anti-Trump and pro-Hillary Clinton.

THE BEGINNING OF THE END – POLITICIANS GREASED THE WAY FOR CHINA’S GRAND THEFT OF AMERICAS CORPORATIONS AND WORLD HEGEMONY

Image result It was not to be this way but unintended consequences always follow major breakthroughs no matter what the advance planning. The opening of China happened after a visit to China by then President Nixon in 1972. This was to be a grand gesture of peace, a “glasnost” of sorts. However, it never occurred to America that this visit would bring a tidal wave of Chinese imported goods to America. Rather than we selling China our goods (that was a mission consideration), the Chinese turned the tables on what was to be the greatest theft of American trade secrets, engineering know-how and manufacturing bravado. The China syndrome is real, it has surreptitiously permeated through to the United States. It did not happen overnight, but as we now know, it is happening now and there is no turning back; America has been had.

At first China sold us cheap junk amassing more purchasing power in dollars that the world has never seen; at one point holding over three trillion United States treasury bills, notes and bonds. China’s footprint covers just about every corner of the world. Their power is unprecedented, their reach beyond question. Country after country dares not challenge them. China will dominate the world in the next two decades in science, engineering, in manufacturing, product design and world hegemony. We on the other hand will see our fortunes disappear like a mirage in the desert sand.

China is manufacturing passenger aircraft in a challenge to Boeing, they are bringing Chinese automobiles to Europe, soon the United States, their fledgling biotech industry is in the forefront of new discoveries, not to mention their prowess in AI, robotics and computer technologies. But what scares us most are the Chinese ex-patriots who hone their skills in the United States and return to the homeland.

Chinese people are driven by desire for a better life through education from the get go. Their upbringing sees to it that life revolves around respect, mutual consideration and an unbearable drive to succeed. Apathy has infected the great majority of Americans who are not driven to succeed, but are very happy with a 4k HD TV and a cell phone; education is no longer a prime goal, neither is to be the best you can be. To make the most of a one time opportunity of the life here on earth is a gift, but the majority of Americans don’t see it that way. When they realize that the beginning of the end is closing in on them it will be too late to turn back the clock.  A back of the envelope calculations reveals that 20% plus of the Ivy League schools are Asian American. However, accounting for international admissions the number is significantly higher.

Is there a away to reverse the China onslaught? The next two decades will provide the answers. From this vantage point the future looks bleak. An important point to consider, China thinks long term, we think short term. Chinese government is the engine that drives the private sector with a bias that thwarts foreign competition on the home front. However, they use our laws to open doors for their companies to make inroads in the United States. This is seldom possible in China because of their government run judiciary.

Once Great Britain Under Occupation

Gregory Hood, American Renaissance, December 1, 2017

Will President Trump help liberate it?

The Roman Republic was born when a Roman woman, Lucretia, was raped by the Etruscan king Lucius Tarquinius Superbus. Humiliated, Lucretia killed herself. The outraged noble families of the city avenged their ravaged daughter and drove out their foreign overlords, establishing a new state that would endured for centuries and built an empire that would define Western Civilization.

“Lucretia” (Rembrandt, 1664)

The reverse is occurring in the United Kingdom. Once the seat of an empire on which the sun never set, the United Kingdom hosts an insular, hostile, foreign population that is colonizing the home islands. The “grooming,” assault, and rape of English girls in Rotherham and elsewhere, explicitly motivated by racial contempt, occurred for over a decade. More than one victim committed suicide. Yet the aristocrats of once-Great Britain, those with titles and those who simply enjoy wealth and power, did not rise in anger and revulsion to avenge their daughters. The public officials who looked the other way were not even punished.

What did rouse the guardians of British virtue to fury was President Donald Trump’s Twitter feed. President Trump, as he often does, retweeted some videos he found interesting. They had been posted by Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of a small British political group called Britain First.

The result was outrage from the entire British political class. In one of the mildest reactions, Prime Minister Theresa May simply called President Trump wrong. Scotland’s First Minister argued a state visit planned by President Trump should be halted, explaining that the presidential retweet “risks legitimizing those who want to spread fear and hatred.”

Some politicians went further, with Chris Bryant of the Labour Party demanding Donald Trump be arrested if the President of the United States ever visits our ally. It should be noted that Mr. Bryant is a former vicar of the Church of England. The archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Anglican Communion, is demanding Donald Trump delete his tweets.

Other members of Parliament claimed the presidential retweets constituted a crime.

I asked the Home Secretary this morning if the US President or indeed Twitter have committed a crime for inciting racial religious hatred. The Home Sec says she will not comment on individual cases. I think he has committed a crime.

One of the strongest condemnations came from London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who also wants the state visit cancelled. This is ironic considering a highlight of Mayor Khan’s career as a lawyer was trying to get the United Kingdom to lift a travel ban on Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Mr. Khan described Minister Farrakhan as a “the leader of a vast section of the black community” and denied that Mr. Farrakhan was anti-Semitic or preached a message of “racial hatred or antagonism.”

What Mr. Khan evidently does consider a message of “racial hatred” include three videos of:

  • A “Muslim migrant” attacking a Dutch boy on crutches
  • Someone smashing a statue of the Virgin Mary while making pro-Muslim declarations
  • A man being pushed off a roof in Egypt

The mainstream media have declared the videos “discredited,” especially the first. The Dutch Embassy noted proudly in a tweet that the lout attacking the boy on crutches had been “born and raised in the Netherlands.” That would certainly not stop him from being a Muslim. A Dutch source did deny the dusky attacker was Muslim, but offered no evidence or identification.

The other two videos show what they appear to show, with one probably taken in Syria, and the other during a time of political turmoil in Egypt. Those responsible for the killing in Egypt were punished years later.

But the real outrage seemed to be less about the videos and more about the signal boost President Trump provided to Britain First, universally described as a “far-right” group. Needless to say, Britain First goes out of its way to deny “racism.” Indeed, the first thing you will find at its website is a lengthy explanation of why the group is not racist, and a rather embarrassing collection of blacks supposedly attending the group’s rallies.

However, Britain First does insist on the “maintenance of the indigenous British people as the demographic majority within our own homeland” and the support of “Christianity as the foundation of our society and culture.” These views were self-evident until the recent past; today, they are virtually illegal.

Indeed, Miss Fransen is facing charges because of speeches she made during a rally opposing terrorism in Northern Ireland. The terse announcement by the police did not identify what Miss Fransen did that they claim is illegal. She had said: “The world is at war with Islam. Every single Muslim is obligated to kill you and your husbands and your wives and your children.” She also condemned the violence of Irish republicans, whom she described as “not Christian.”

Miss Fransen has been in legal trouble for other speeches. As Vice gleefully reported, she was convicted of a “hate crime” for saying Muslim men force women to cover up to avoid being raped because “they cannot control their sexual urges.” This, she added, was “why they are coming into my country, raping women across the continent.” She was also charged with “religiously aggravated harassment” because of “the distribution of leaflets and the posting of online videos during the trial of Muslim men who were subsequently found guilty of rape.”

Such rhetoric may sound uncouth to some, but it is hardly criminal in a free country. Even her most confrontational statements and tactics pale in comparison to the antics of groups such as FEMEN, which are celebrated by the same Western media that professes such outrage today.

Miss Fransen asked President Trump for help:

And she is right to do so. For Britain can in no sense be called a free country. Policing online social networking sites for “hate speech” is now a routine job for British law enforcement. As English author David Webb notes, such “hate speech” restrictions are far more strictly enforced against white men than against non-white minorities. These campaigns are cheered on by the mainstream and non-white volunteer commissars, who urge the police to become involved if they read things they don’t like online. More than 3,000 people were arrested for online speech in 2016. A determination of whether a “hate crime” took place depends on the feelings of the “victim,” meaning that even “unfriendliness” can justify charges.

Such speech laws are especially chilling because British police were recently given unprecedented powers to spy on the electronic communications of the Queen’s subjects. The number, variety, and reach of “equality laws” has also vastly increased since Tony Blair’s “New Labour” government opened Britain to mass Third World immigration. These laws are now being used to prohibit white people from applying for jobs within their own country.

Yet even as the traditional liberties of the English people have dwindled, security cameras are ubiquitous, police are trying to enforce “knife control,” and crime is increasing nationwide, with London now more dangerous than New York City. Police, unable to cope, are simply releasing suspects and “hoping for the best,” according to Police Federation chairman Steve White.

The threat of terrorism has also grown so dramatically that the security state is practically useless. The British press has reported tens of thousands of jihadists in Britain, and those are only the ones known to the authorities. Hundreds of “British” fought for the Islamic State while actual British soldiers were cursed and jeered by Muslims upon their return. Terrorism, of course, is the excuse for even further crackdowns on freedom of speech, which, naturally, can be directed against the “far right.”

Indeed, even as Islamic radicalism goes unchecked, attempts by the indigenous British to organize have been met with persecution, as people such as former English Defense League leader Tommy Robinson can testify. The British police also used what has been termed “exemplary sentencing” to break white working class resistance to Muslim immigration, with the British government imposing harsh punishments against any crimes perceived to be directed against immigrants. At the same time, the violent activists known as antifa enjoy all but unanimous support from the political establishment; former Conservative Party leader David Cameron signed the founding statement of Unite Against Fascism.

Given this repressive atmosphere, it’s not surprising that the only people in the country who can draw attention to serious problems are those like Miss Fransen who are called “far right” and who aren’t afraid of legal sanctions or media scorn. For example, it was the British National Party that first drew attention to the Muslim grooming gangs in Rotherham. Then-party head Nick Griffin denounced what was happening in a 2004 speech that was recorded by an undercover reporter. Not only did the reporter not appear concerned about the truth of Mr. Griffin’s words, he used his surreptitiously obtained evidence to have Mr. Griffin prosecuted.

Today, Muslim grooming gangs are still raping people in Rotherham as well as throughout the country. Yet anyone who speaks up about this or any other ethnic/racial problem has much to fear. A whistleblower could be attacked by Muslims themselves. He could be attacked by antifa. Or he could simply be arrested by a government that seems far more hostile to the indigenous population than those being imported to replace it. It’s hard to imagine even a Soviet government not only allowing such crimes against its people, but arresting those who complain about it.

As John Derbyshire pointed out:

At all points from the 1968 defenestration of Enoch Powell onwards, and still today, the attitude among the European governing and intellectual classes has been that everything will work out just fine so long as native Europeans stop complaining. If they won’t stop, they must be stopped, so that . . . everything will work out just fine.

Great Britain is at least as repressive as an Eastern Bloc country during the 1980s. In actively concealing crime, promoting disorder, and deconstructing the indigenous culture, it may be worse. Even Orwell’s subjects of Big Brother were never angrily told that it was an offense against equality to complain when their children were raped by foreigners. The hysteria of British politicians about President Trump should be treated with no more respect than Soviet boilerplate at a Party Congress.

The likes of Mayor Khan and Prime Minister May are infinitely more contemptible than General Secretaries Brezhnev or Andropov. The British government has long since shirked its duty to ensure the liberty and security of the British people, and it should not be regarded as any more legitimate than the government of East Germany or of the “Polish People’s Republic.”

The priority for the United States should not be to repair the “special relationship.” It should be to explore strategies to liberate our Anglo-Saxon cousins from what is a de facto occupation government. And as leftists are looking enviously at how British politicians have their political opponents arrested for dissident speech, this occupation government is more ideologically dangerous to American liberties than the Warsaw Pact states we faced a generation ago.

PUERTO RICO – A LEECH PARADISE

Imagine an offer you can’t refuse. No gun pointed to your head, but just plain old capitalism.Image result for leech definition A solution to a so-called insurmountable problem is in your grasp, little or no strings attached, no, this is not a deal with the devil, but a viable way out of a quagmire that you put yourself in and you refuse to sign on. Questions would arise why you walked away from the  deal of the century. But we know the answers; you didn’t sign on for political reasons. And that is what got you into the mess in the  first place. YOU ARE THE EQUIVALENT OF A LEECH. YOU ARE A BLOOD SUCKER, YOU ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND YOU WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING ELSE. YOU ARE PUERTO RICO.

A backdrop: Puerto Rico began defaulting on its debts two years ago, seeking to avoid Draconian budget cuts officials said would deal another blow to an already shrinking economy. With nearly half of its 3.4 million residents living in poverty, the government sought protection from creditors in May.

The details to the agreement you refused provide insight on your thinking. And what was that proposal? PREPA, the power company that once was, is bankrupt – kaput; they have brought this on themselves, this was suicide by default; no, Hurricane Maria did not pour more water on their parade – they were drowning in their own debt, plus years of mismanagement brought them to the abyss.

Last year Puerto Rico suffered a large-scale blackout that cut power to half the island’s residents. A major power plant caught fire, damaging two large transmission sites. Prepa’s power infrastructure is dangerously out of date, reliant on dirty and inefficient oil generators for 45 percent of its energy production, compared with a 4 percent national average. Yet Puerto Rican energy costs are high, with residents paying more for electricity than Americans in any state except Hawaii. High prices and bad service are just two reasons why Puerto Rico has been losing jobs and people for a decade.

Investors did not examine Prepa’s finances before helping it go broke, though performing due diligence would have been easy: in 2013, the last year that it issued long-term bonds, Prepa warned investors in writing that it had lost money for four years in a row. “These losses reflect the continuation of a historical trend of net losses,” it added, noting that the amount it owed—then $10.8 billion—exceeded its assets by nearly $1 billion. “If this trend were to continue, the Authority’s ability to fund its operations and finance its capital program”—that is, investments in better power assets—“could be negatively impacted,” it warned potential lenders.

Because bondholders let Prepa stay in business for so long while deferring maintenance, the power company needed $4.7 billion in infrastructure upgrades even before Maria hit. To its credit, it had finally begun to explore how to be more efficient. Yet bondholders clung to the fiction that the company could repay much of its debt. To avert bankruptcy, bondholders had already agreed to 15 percent losses on the money Prepa owed; they also granted the company a debt-payment extension. It wasn’t enough.

After Maria’s emergency phase passes, Prepa must rebuild its permanent assets. Because the company was under-insured—it self-insured its distribution and transmission assets, with only $90 million set aside for that purpose—Washington will likely provide much of the money to do that. The feds should work with Puerto Rico to ensure that Prepa rebuilds effectively, especially through partnerships with successful power companies from the U.S. mainland.

Along with Puerto Rico itself, Prepa was already on the verge of bankruptcy.  And in July, the power authority filed for insolvency under the custom-tailored bankruptcy law that President Obama signed last year. The company reported $11.4 billion in debt, including $8 billion in long-term bonds. Much of this debt is held by investors from the U.S. mainland, lured by tax-exempt investing incentives.

Maria did one thing right, it exposed the vulnerability of Puerto Rico and laid bare the leeches that make up the majority of its populace. Maria did a superb job of getting this latter point across. Congress created a new board to oversee the restructuring of Puerto Rico itself, Promesea; the new kid on the block, a stalwart with a socialist mentality, with a mindset to screw the existing bondholders of Puerto Rico and the debt holders of PREPA. In other words they were set up to rule and set rules and break contracts and violate the Constitution. They were the law West of the Pecos.

Remember, Puerto Rico laready turned down an offer to good to refuse. Image result for law west of the pecosPrepa bondholders offered to exchange $1 billion in debt for $850 million and $1 billion in new cash. REJECTED out of hand. Governor Rossello, the political lackey to say the least, has more excuses for failure than the opioids filling the veins of its citizens.

In the power struggle, no pun intended, between Governor Rossello and Promesea, the governor has won so far. Bonuses are being paid for Christmas, no layoffs, no restructuring. The bottom line here is clear as the waters off the coast of Puerto Rico once were, Puerto Rico is run by a dictator welfare socialist governor who will not accept private capital but wants the Feds to hand over $94,000,000,000 (billion) to him so he can do with it what he pleases.

THE POPE GETS RELIGION – BUT DOESN’T USE THE “R” WORD

In the past we haven’t good things to say about the Pope, but this week he surprised us. What was the cause of such a turn around? A visit to Myanmar. The once military run dictatorship isolated by west was previously known as Burma. The social landscape took a turn for the better when  Aung San Suu Kyi. A newnew parliament convened on 1 February 2016 and, on 15 March 2016, Htin Kyaw was elected as the first non-military president since the military coup of 1962. On 6 April 2016, Aung San Suu Kyi assumed the newly created role of State Counsellor, a role akin to a Prime Minister.

The Rohingya people have consistently faced human rights abuses by the Burmese regime that has refused to acknowledge them as Burmese citizens. The Burmese regime has attempted to forcibly expel Rohingya and bring in non-Rohingyas to replace them -this policy has resulted in the expulsion of approximately half of the 800,000Rohingya from Burma, while the Rohingya people have been described as “among the world’s least wanted” and “one of the world’s most persecuted minorities.” But the origin of ‘most persecuted minority’ statement is unclear.

Rohingya are also not allowed to travel without official permission, are banned from owning land and are required to sign a commitment to have no more than two children. As of July 2012, the Myanmar Government does not include the Rohingya minority group—classified as Bengali Muslims from Bangladesh since 1982, therefore, the government states that they have no claim to Myanmar citizenship.

Since the democratic transition began in 2011, there has been continuous violence as 280 people have been killed and 140,000 forced to flee from their homes in the Rakhine state. A UN envoy reported in March 2013 that unrest had re-emerged between Myanmar’s Buddhist and Muslim communities, with violence spreading to towns that are located closer to Yangon. The Burmese army and police have been accused of targeting Rohingya Muslims through mass arrests and arbitrary violence.

Many world leaders are appalled at the treatment of the Rohingya, but have stepped aside in criticizing Aung San Suu Kyi.

When Pope Francis stepped off the papal plane in Burma, he walked into a diplomatic minefield — which is exactly where he belonged.

The quagmire centered on whether he would appease a government and military that is overseeing what the United Nations has called a ‘textbook example of ethnic cleansing,’ or do the thing that has established him as the most credible world leader today: side with the marginalized. In this instance, they are the Rohingya Muslims who have been subject to mass slaughter, rape and forced migration.

How Francis would be judged on this question centered around whether he would use one word: ‘Rohingya.’

The R-word holds such importance in Burma, also known as Myanmar, because the government does not recognize the Rohingya as citizens. To the military, extremist monks and most of the country, they are Muslim outsiders from neighboring Bangladesh. Usage of the word signals support for an almost universally hated group and invites severe repercussions from the military.

Many questioned the Bishop of Rome’s political calculus in making a trip that appeared to be a no-win scenario. As Rev. Thomas Reese, a member of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, put it, Francis risked “either compromising his moral authority or putting in danger the Christians of that country.”

Now the trip is finished, and Francis is on his way to Bangladesh. While he gave a speech calling for peace among all faiths and respect for all ethnicities, he did not use the R-word.

Nonetheless, Francis’s trip ends in success — though we may not see the fruits until later.

Good Job Pope Francis!

BEGGARS

Puerto Rico this week requested $94 billion in immediate aid to recover from hurricanes Irma and Maria, which left most of the 3.4 million residents without power. The biggest share of the funds, $31 billion, were to be used to rebuild homes, with another $18 billion requested for the electric utility, Governor Ricardo Rossello said in a letter to President Donald Trump released Monday.

No preconceived notions here, but what gets our goat is the amount of money Puerto Rico demands from mainland taxpayers;  $100,000,000,000. Side note, Puerto Ricans don’t pay Federal Income Tax.  A back of the envelope calculation computes to $10,000 per individual – counting children. That is on top of the $50,000,000,000 we send annually to the island. Sending good money after bad does not compute, it never did.

Puerto Ricans are blaming President Trump for the fact that two weeks after Hurricane Maria, their island is still a mess: power outages, flooding, fuel shortages, spotty cell service, washed out bridges, roads blocked by fallen trees. But who is really to blame for the island’s paralysis?

Consider this: Puerto Rico has a population of only 3.4 million but their elected government has run up a debt of over $70 billion and pension obligations of $50 billion. That’s more than $35,294 per resident and over 100 percent of GDP. Puerto Rico has already defaultedon a $58 million bond payment in 2016, due to its already-high taxes and unwillingness to cut government spending. It fell into crushing debt despite the $21 billion annually the island receives in aid from the United States, much of it spent on welfare programs such as Head Start, public housing, and food stamps. That’s over $6,000 per capita in federal welfare that the islanders consume. And due to the special status of the island, Puerto Ricans do not even pay federal income tax.

Borrowing and US handouts sustained the welfare habits of the people, but Puerto Rico left its infrastructure embarrassingly outdated. According to the Los Angeles Times, Puerto Rico’s electrical grid is so starved of physical and human capital that it suffers from power outages four-to-five times the average—even in good weather. Puerto Rico also failed to invest in infrastructure to protect against flooding. The island has few floodwalls and dangerously weak dams—a dam on the island cracked following the hurricane, forcing the evacuation of more than 70,000 people.

These problems were foreseeable and preventable, but liberals and Puerto Rican officials are blaming Donald Trump. Perhaps he is being too nice. Puerto Rico created its own problems; why should we be on the hook for them?

After acquisition by the United States following the Spanish-American War in 1898, the island’s residents never integrated with Americans culturally, linguistically, or racially. Puerto Ricans are culturally Hispanic, racially a mix of Spanish colonists, African slaves and Taino natives, and most of them don’t speak any English. They may technically be United States citizens but they share little common history or ancestry with Americans and are clearly a nation that developed separately from our own. And what could indicate a clearer sense of alienation from the United States than the fact that Puerto Rico has its own Olympic team?

Puerto Ricans, meanwhile, have many gripes with what they perceive as their American overlords. For example, even before this latest hurricane-induced crisis, a major problem for Puerto Rico was their inability to conduct trade independently. According to U.S. law, goods must travel between Puerto Rican and mainland American ports on American-made vessels before they are exported or imported. This weakens Puerto Rico’s economy.

The best solution would be to let Puerto Rico become an independent country, free to make its own decisions and responsible for its own problems. This could be done amicably and generously. Since we pay the island tens of billions of dollars every year in welfare payments, we could easily pay off their debt and give them post-hurricane humanitarian aid as incentives to independence.

We could also offer remigration cash incentives for Puerto Ricans living in America who are willing to give up their U.S. citizenship and move to the island. This would not only be an opportunity for the Puerto Rican diaspora in the United States to reunite with their people, but also a great way to reverse the brain-drain. Over the past century, many of the more intelligent and hard-working Puerto Ricans moved to the mainland for better opportunities. The 2010 U.S. Census counted the number of Puerto Ricans living in America at 4.6 million, making it America’s second-largest Hispanic group after Mexicans. This represents a tremendous loss in cultural, economic, and human capital for the island.

Finally, we could offer military protection and economic advice for a couple decades. Chile took economic advice from free-market economists from the University of Chicago and the economy boomed. With the right advice and incentives, Puerto Rico could experience a similar economic rebound.

Separation would come with an expensive up-front price tag for us, but it would save Americans money in the long run and would give Puerto Rico full control over its culture and destiny.

THE LATEST NEWS – previous post

The head of an international engineering firm in Puerto Rico said in an editorial Saturday that when the time came to send 50 of his engineers to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, he bypassed local officials and went straight to FEMA.

The reason, said Jorge Rodriguez, the CEO of PACIV, in an editorial in the New York Post, is that “for the last 30 years, the Puerto Rican government has been completely inept at handling regular societal needs, so I just don’t see it functioning in a crisis like this one.”

Puerto Ricans elected a new governor last November but, Rodriguez charged, he was inexperienced and had never been responsible for a budget.

Gov. Ricardo Rossello cannot exactly count on those around him either, Rodriguez asserted.

“His entire administration is totally inexperienced and they have no clue how to handle a crisis of this magnitude,” said Rodriguez, who has a graduate business degree from Harvard Business School and was named a “Most Distinguished Graduate” by the University of Puerto Rico.

The WARNING FROM MR.Rodriguez who also had a word of caution for the U.S. Congress: “Watch out what relief funds you approve and let our local government handle. Don’t let the Puerto Rican government play the victim and fool youThey have no clue what they are doing, and I worry that they will mishandle anything that comes their way.”

AND WE ARE GOING TO POUR GOOD MONEY INTO PUERTO RICO!   THE LAZY GOOD FOR NOTHING WELFARE LEACHES WILL BLOW IT LIKE THEY HAVE FOR THE PAST CENTURY!  THIS IS THE WELFARE ISLAND.

Hey Guys (this includes Girls-no offense, but guys is now a generic term) do you, a taxpayer, want to pay for a stranger’s new house ? Bigger and better than the one you own or rent?  Yeah, we are talking about those poor souls who lived in shanties down there in Puerto Rico. The ones with no flood insurance; to top it off 60% had no wind insurance. In the great majority of cases these houses (pmuds to say the least) were worth, maybe if you stretch it, $8000-$10,000. You have seen them before on the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico – you say you don’t know what a pmud is, for heaven’s sake it is a dump spelled backward.

Well, let’s get to the point! The welfare island territory has leached off us long enough – now is their time to carry the water.  We are sick and tired of being being sucked dry. They are clamoring for us to give them new houses for free, yes those who had theirs destroyed by Maria. These former homeowners are surging into FEMA’s offices. Of course they have plenty of time on their hand, none work. They rely on you, the taxpayer, for money.  We are talking about the drug and gangster infested island. Audacity. They are also DEMANDING RESPECT. People with no job, but oh yeah, they are on SS disability, food stamps, welfare, medicare and whatever program they can suck dry. You don’t believe us? And the mayor of San Juan, she too opened her big fat trap. Trump had none of it.

Flag of Puerto Rico.svgPuerto Rico’s bloated government also bears much of the blame. Around 30% of the territory’s jobs are in the public sector. Among other things, a big and coddled bureaucracy undermines Puerto Rico’s educational achievements in two ways. First, nearly half those on the education department’s payroll are not teachers; quality has fallen because of low accountability and mismanagement.

The Urban Dictionary defines LEACH; is a type of person who does their best to suck your personal wealth out of you, without actually causing pain, but just extreme annoyance after you notice it is happaning. Trump voters are sick and tired of being leached to death. Aren’t you?

As he walked through Aguadilla’s town hall recently, Mr Méndez, the mayor,  boasted about each employee’s university or graduate-school credentials as he introduced them. The trouble, he says, is that “All they want to do is find security only. They have no ambition...Everybody wants to work for the government.” Manuel Reyes, of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association, also sees little hope that the government’s role will shrink. “There is no light at the end of the tunnel,” he says, “because we are still in denial.”

The federal government spent more than $2 billion to provide food stamps to residents of Puerto Rico in 2012, up to 25 percent of which is untraceable because it is distributed in cash and there is “no way to verify that funds are spent on food,” according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The funds are used to supply more than one-third of the population of Puerto Rico with food stamps. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) for Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States, received $2 billion in Nutrition Assistance Block Grants in fiscal year 2012.  Folks this was back in 2012, today it is approaching $3 billion dollars. Why work when you can eat like the burger King.

Unemployment: 48% of those eligible to work don’t, counting those that don’t seek work the figure explodes to 55%. One in six working-age men in Puerto Rico are claiming disability benefits and the figure is expect to rise to 12% because of Maria. People from the Dominican Republic do many of the jobs in Puerto Rico that pay too little to attract the locals because the huge amount of government payments they collect while on the dole. What do Puerto Rico’s men do all day? Some get into trouble. But many others hang out in pleasant places that require little money, such as beaches, shopping malls and the armchairs in Borders bookstores. They also watch plenty of television. Satellite dishes sprout from many rooftops. People always have money for that bill.

PUERTO RICO wins the Leach award hands down. Advice to President Trump, “do not give them one red cent.” The government is defunct, the people who live there rely on the United States for handouts. They have reneged on $125 billion in debt. Their economy never was functional, relying on tax breaks to bribe mainland companies – for the most part big pharma – to relocated there. They determined their fate; they shall have to live with it. Estimates of damage are close to $100 billion, why bail them out? For the United States taxpayer this is a travesty. To bail out a bunch of low lifes on social security disability is an affront to those who work, to the American taxpayer. The highest percentage of Social Security disability cases are in Puerto Rico. Now we expect a million more (because of depression) to apply for disability. IT IS A WAY OF LIFE IN PUERTO RICO. Live high, but don’t work, on other peoples money. READ ON FOLKS AND YOU WILL BEGIN TO COMPREHEND THE REAL SITUATION IN PUERTO RICO.

Puerto Ricans who can’t speak English qualify as disabled for Social Security

Hundreds of Puerto Rico’s residents qualified for federal disability benefits in recent years because they lacked fluency in English, according to government auditors. The Social Security Administration’s inspector general questioned the policy this month in light of the fact that Spanish is the predominant language in the U.S. territory. Under Social Security regulations, individuals are considered less employable in the United States if they can’t speak English, regardless of their work experience or level of education. AND THAT IS NOT ALL!

Puerto Rico is red meat, let the vultures come in and devour it. Clean it up and make it what it can be. But no this won’t happen because Big Government will get involved continuing their largess. LET THEM SINK OR SWIMWhy should the mainland BAIL them out?

According to the Consolidated Federal Funds Report compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau, Puerto Rico has received more than $21 billion annually in federal aid from the United States. A substantial portion of this amount is earmarked for public welfare, including funding educational programs (such as Head Start), subsidized housing programs (such as (Section 8 and public housing projects), and a food stampsystem called the Nutrition Assistance for Puerto Rico program.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a federal entitlement program that provides cash assistance to low-income aged, blind, and disabled individuals. Individuals receiving SSI benefits are eligible for Medicaid coverage in all states except “section 209(b)” states, which have opted to use their more restrictive 1972 criteria in determining Medicaid eligibility for SSI recipients. Section 209(b) of the 1972 amendments to the Social Security Act allowed states the option of continuing to use their own eligibility criteria in determining Medicaid eligibility for the elderly and disabled rather than extending Medicaid coverage to all of those individuals who qualify for SSI benefits. As of 2001, eleven states (Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Virginia) had elected the “209(b)” option to apply their 1972 eligibility criteria to aged or disabled individuals receiving SSI benefits for purposes of determining Medicaid

PUERTO RICO – FOOD STAMP NATION -previous post

One third – 33% of Puerto Rico’s population is on food stamps costing the United States over $2 billion per year.  Puerto Rico had a higher public assistance participation rate (5.9 percent) than the national average (2.9 percent), this means that twice as many per capita receive welfare. For those who stay, rich welfare benefits provide a disincentive to work. A household of three can receive $1,743 per month in food stamps, Medicaid, utility subsidies and welfare compared to minimum-wage take-home pay of $1,159. Employers are required to provide 15 days of vacation and 12 sick days annually and a $600 Christmas bonus. Government employees make up a quarter of the island’s workforce.

A more appropriate name should be Puerto Welfare.

PUERTO RICO THE SOCIALIST PARADISE OF THE CARIBBEAN DROWNING IN DEBT

The Greek debacle has been the focus of late on its on again-off again debt restructuring, but that doesn’t mean that the troubles in Puerto Rico are playing second fiddle. Puerto Rico is on the hook for close to $100 billion. That is a boat load of pina coladas. SoBe Smooth Pina Colada Drink - 20-Fl. Oz. The sharks are circling the waters in the hope of default if and when it happens. The rich island has a dark journey ahead, tourism is in the tank, the economy is in a perpetual depression, drugs are rampant and most of all the government will not do what needs to be done; cut bait.

But Puerto Rico is part of the United States and is a metaphor for liberal bastions like Illinois and Connecticut, both drowning  the sea of debt. Utmost on the minds of the Puerto Rican is not the rising sea levels, but their share of the islands IOU’s. By the way, in case you didn’t notice, Puerto Rico has a population similar to Connecticut, 3,5 million or simply put a debt of $22,000 for each of its citizens. And true to form the Commonwealth’s economy has slowly reached the point of no return being sucked down by a giant whirlpool, even Captain Nemo can’t save this one.Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
