BIDEN IS THE FIRST BLACK WOMAN TO SERVE WITH A BLACK PRESIDENT. IMAGINE THAT!

Biden says he’s ‘first black woman to serve with a black president’ in latest gaffe

Story by Emily Crane

• 2d • 2 min read

President Biden described himself as the “first black woman to serve with a black president” as he yet again twisted his words, his latest gaffe as he scrambles to reassure voters he’s still fit to lead.

The 81-year-old president made the slip up as he struggled to find the right phrasing while being interviewed Thursday on Philadelphia’s WURD black radio station as part of an Independence Day media blitz a week on from his train-wreck debate performance.

Biden appeared to trip up as he described having served as former President Barack Obama’s vice president and then choosing Kamala Harris as his own.

“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president,” he told host Andrea Lawful-Sanders.

The stumble, though, was just one of several slip-ups and mistakes Biden made during the interview — which was aimed at reassuring voters that his debate debacle was just a lone bad night.

At one point, he made the bizarre claim that he was the “first president that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid.”

He also claimed he understood the black struggle for representation — because he didn’t think Catholics could be president before John F. Kennedy was elected more than six decades ago.

Biden made the reference as he was telling the host he knew what Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court meant to “a young girl who is in school and having trouble.”

“I looked at John Kennedy and said, ‘Well, he — John — he got elected. Why can’t I get elected?’” Biden said. “People need things to look up to.”

The slew of lapses comes as concerns continue to mount over the president’s age — especially in the wake of his disastrous debate face-off against former President Trump last week.

Still, Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for Biden’s re-election campaign, quickly ripped the media for highlighting the president’s most recent stumbles.

DID TRUMP LIE IN THE DEBATE? LET’S EXAMINE THE FACTS – ALL CLAIMS BY THE DEMOCRATS DEBUNKED

Inflation was about 1.4 percent when Biden took over. Donald Trump said that President Biden caused inflation and that the cost of food doubled and tripled and quadrupled. This wasn’t a lie, Food prices in many instances have gone up over two hundred percent. Trump was embellishing inflation for shock value. This is not an outright lie as Biden would have you tell it.

Donald Trump said that President Biden has allowed in 18 million people and that they’re coming from — quote — “prisons, jails and mental institutions.” Almost 12 million have come into the country under the Biden-Mayorkas administration. They call Trump with his pants on fire. But the problem here is that Biden will not come clean. How can you believe their number when everything they tell you is a lie. Regarding those from mental institutions, how the hell do they know how many. Truth is that millions most likely came,

Trump claim on abortion is not validated says the PERVS. They say infanticide is illegal in every state. However, abortions in the eight and ninth month do happen. That can’t be denied.

WE MUST REFUTE THE LIES – THE COVER-UP – SAME AS FDR

First of all, Biden has LIED to the public on numerous occasions. For instance, “my son did nothing wrong.” Wrong, that was one Big Lie. Secondly, he hasn’t come clean concerning his health.

The President  is a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” WTF, what does a  poor memory have to do with recommending prosecution? Biden was a private citizen when he committed the crime. Did he have a poor memory then? Doesn’t matter, he was guilty of Federal Records Fraud.

We are confused, IS THIS ANOTHER LIE?  Biden didn’t remember if he watched the debate. Again, WTF is this bag of bones talking about, couldn’t remember what he did five days ago and this guy is President. Imagine him in charge of the button?

Now we find out that a Top Neurologist visited the White House. The Deep State won’t say who he consulted with, but we know who, it was POTUS.

Biden’s physician met with top Parkinson’s disease specialist: White House visitor logs

President Joe Biden’s physician met with a top Washington, D.C., neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease earlier this year, according to White House visitor logs.

The logs show that Parkinson’s disease expert Dr. Kevin Cannard of the Walter Reed Medical Center met with Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17.

“It’s highly likely they were talking about Biden,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) told the New York Post, who first reported on the meeting. “He should only be [regularly] treating the president and the first family.”

Jackson served as physician to the president under the Obama and Trump administrations from 2013 to 2018. He has issued a number of warnings about Biden’s declining mental health, and accused O’Connor and first lady Jill Biden of having “led the cover up” to hide the president’s well-being from the public.

Walter Reed Medical Center cardiologist John E. Atwood was also in the meeting, according to the logs.

Cannard published a paper in the Parkinsonism & Related Disorders journal that focuses on the “early stage” of Parkinson’s disease in August 2023, just months before the meeting.

When asked about the visit, the White House pointed to the wide range of personnel and jobs doctors visiting are responsible for.

In Biden’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, released on Friday, he declined to commit to taking an independent cognitive test. Biden claimed his “bad” debate performance wasno indication of any serious condition.”

Kudos to George Stephanopoulos for asking very pointed questions. We commend him for this.

Below is the concealment of FDR’s health from the public.

Inside FDR’s Lifelong Health Struggles—And His Sudden Death

Roosevelt endured persistent physical challenges—including paralysis and heart issues—that were largely shielded from the American public.

FDR’s Health Falters

Roosevelt’s health began a steep decline after his nearly 18,000-mile roundtrip to the Tehran Conference in November 1943 to meet British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin on strategy to fight Adolf Hitler. Upon his return, an ailing, exhausted Roosevelt lost weight, and his trembling hands struggled to light cigarettes, sign documents or pour coffee.

The president’s physician, Dr. Ross McIntire, insisted to the press that Roosevelt was in “robust health” and his stamina was “far above average.”But the commander-in-chief’s daughter, Anna, was skeptical. At her behest, McIntire—an ear, nose and throat specialist—arranged for Dr. Howard Bruenn, Bethesda Naval Hospital’s top cardiologist, to examine Roosevelt in late March 1944.

Bruenn delivered a shocking diagnosis: The president was suffering from severe hypertension and congestive heart failure. Roosevelt was prescribed the herbal drug digitalis, placed on a restricted diet, told to restrict his smoking to six Camel cigarettes a day and advised to work only four hours a day—an impossibility for a wartime president.
Dr. Frank Lahey, who consulted on the president’s condition, did not believed that if Mr. Roosevelt were elected President again, he had the physical capacity to complete a fourth term.”

Days after Lahey’s dire assessment, Roosevelt announced he would accept the Democratic nomination for an unprecedented fourth term. He wanted to see the war to its conclusion and realize his plan to establish the United Nations.

Two days after taking the oath of office for the fourth time on January 20, 1945, Roosevelt departed on an arduous five-week journey to meet again with Churchill and Stalin at the Yalta Conference.

A gaunt Roosevelt returned to Warm Springs at the end of March. “The president was the worst-looking man I ever saw who was still alive,”recalled the town’s stationmaster. On the afternoon of April 12, Roosevelt’s blood pressure soared to 300/190. he proclaimed before slumping forward in his wheelchair. Those words were Roosevelt’s last as he died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 63. The news shocked a nation that never knew how ill its president had been.

Dutch parties agree on final formation of rightwing government, Wilders says

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – Political parties in the Netherlands have reached a final agreement on the formation of their incoming right-wing government, election winner Geert Wilders said on Tuesday.

After almost six months of negotiations, Wilders’ nationalist PVV party reached an agreement last month to form a coalition with three other conservative parties but they had not agreed on cabinet posts.

“We have reached an agreement,” Wilders told reporters after almost four weeks of talks on the distribution of jobs over the four parties.

The coalition last month already said political outsider Dick Schoof, who is not affiliated to any party, would become prime minister of the new government.

Schoof, 67, was the senior official at the Dutch justice ministry until last month after having led the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD and anti-terrorism agency NCTV for years. He was the head of the Dutch immigration service in the early 2000s.

He will head a cabinet that the four parties have said would have looser ties to parliament. No details on who would fill the other posts in cabinet have been announced yet.

“BAD NIGHT” WATCH IT LIVE

In terrible interview, Biden blames ‘bad night’ — when was a good one?

“DOESN’T KNOW IF HE WATCHED THE DEBATE” – PUNCH DRUNK FROM THE BEATING HE TOOK BY PRESIDENT TRUMP

President Biden did not calm his critics on Friday night following his interview with ABC News, fueling more calls for him to withdraw from the 2024 race and sparking fierce condemnation for refusing to commit to a cognitive exam.

“I wimped out in today’s column and deleted a line saying he should formulate a plan to transition the presidency to Harris within 30-60 days, but I’m there now. Something is clearly wrong here,” polling guru Nate Silver reacted to the Biden interview.

“The most generous way to put it is that he doesn’t seem in command, and that’s an extremely hard sell when you’re Commander in Chief. I continue to think this number is low and Democrats will apply incredible amounts of pressure,” Silver continued, pointing to the Polymarket stat showing a “57% chance” Biden drops out of the race.

ABC NEWS PANEL SAYS BIDEN INTERVIEW WON’T ‘CALM THE NERVES’ OF ‘JITTERY DEMOCRATS’

“The president is rightfully proud of his record. But he is dangerously out-of-touch with the concerns people have about his [capacities] moving forward and his standing in this race,” former Obama adviser David Axelrod wrote on X. “Four years ago at this time, he was 10 points ahead of Trump. Today, he is six points behind.”

“I deeply respect Joe Biden’s lifetime of service to our country. But the argument [Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez] makes in this column is the right one. In this critical time, in this vital election, stepping aside is the right and honorable thing for President Biden to do,” businessman and former Democratic LA mayoral candidate Rick Caruso wrote.

Not as bad as the debate’ is like saying a movie wasn’t as bad as ‘Howard the Duck,’” National Review editor Phillip Klein quipped.

“That @ABC interview did not help. At all,” CNN contributor S.E. Cupp said. “There’s no ‘A for effort.’ It’s beat Trump or step aside.”

“Something scary this interview is making clear…As much as the folks around Biden hid the truth from us…Is how much they’re hiding the truth from Biden,” Ruthless podcast host Comfortably Smug wrote.

BIDEN PANNED FOR NOT BEING CERTAIN ABOUT WHETHER HE WATCHED THE DEBATE: ‘HE DOESN’T KNOW???’

Many called out Biden for repeatedly dodging questions from ABC’s George Stephanopoulos about whether he would agree to take a neurological test and release its findings to the public.

Some, including Silver and Versus Media podcast host Stephen L. Miller, declared his refusal “disqualifying.”

“Surprised no emphasis on fact that Biden flatly refuses to take cognitive test. Clearly afraid of the possible results. And that is enormously telling,” former New York Times reporter Bill Carter reacted.

BIDEN REPEATEDLY DODGES ANSWERING WHETHER HE’D TAKE NEUROLOGICAL TEST: ‘NO ONE SAID I HAD TO’

“Why would Biden, if he’s fully up to snuff, not agree to undergo a neurological evaluation? What would be the downside there?” Insider reporter Bryan Metzger wondered.

“So in summary: Biden refused to say he’d take a cognitive test, refused to say he would consider stepping down if key allies asked him to, said the polls are fake news, and that he wouldn’t fret if he lost as long as he tried his best. This is all Trumpian bulls—. Just madness,” The Atlantic contributing writer Tyler Austin Harper slammed the president.

Others concluded that the ABC interview was not the death knell to Biden’s candidacy, while at the same time, it will give Democrats more heartburn as the campaign unfolds.

“That was the worst possible outcome: not anywhere near good enough to settle matters, but also not quite bad enough to be a slam-dunk that he has to go tomorrow,” The New Republic editor Michael Tomasky said.

BIDEN TAKES BLAME FOR ‘BAD NIGHT’ IN DEBATE AGAINST TRUMP: ‘MY FAULT, NO ONE ELSE’S FAULT’

“George Stephanopoulos failed to euthanize Joe Biden tonight, but he probably inspired a lot of Democrats to force Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, etc. to push Biden to get out,” conservative radio host Erick Erickson wrote.

“This interview was the worst of all worlds for the Ds. Biden committed no real flubs. He didn’t do anything to force himself out of the race. But he appears old, weak, tentative and he’s losing to Trump. So Biden will dig in and stay. The Ds are stuck,” Fox News contributor Ari Fleischer similarly posted.

Biden’s shocking debate performance has become a political earthquake with wide swaths of the liberal media calling for him to withdraw from the presidential race.

At a Friday campaign rally in Wisconsin, Biden insisted he is “staying in the race.”Joe Biden

IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY IS CASTING FOR BIG FISHING BOATS

China seizes Taiwan boat with crew for illegal fishing Chinese Communist Party

By Rupert Wingfield-Hayes & Fan Wang, BBC News in Taipei and Singapore

China has said it seized a Taiwanese boat, which had five crew members on board, for illegally fishing in its territorial waters on Tuesday night.

Taiwan has asked China to release the vessel – and the men, two Taiwanese and three Indonesians – which is being held at Weitou, a port in the south-east.

Taiwanese officials have confirmed to the BBC that the boat was seized inside China’s territorial waters, about 2.8 nautical miles (5.1km) off its coast. It was also operating during China’s annual summer-time fishing ban from May to August.

“The fishing vessel violated the fishing moratorium regulations and trawled illegally within the… prohibited area,” Liu Dejun, spokesperson of the China Coast Guard, said.

He also accused it of using the wrong fishing gear and “damaging marine fishery resources”. Taiwan is yet to respond to these comments.

Such altercations have become common in the contested 110-mile strait that separates China and Taiwan.

China claims self-ruled Taiwan as its own and the strait as its exclusive economic zone, although other countries that navigate these waters, such as Japan and the United States, do not recongise this. And the Chinese military has ramped up pressure on Taiwan in recent years.

Chinese authrities have seized and detained 17 Taiwan-registered vessels since 2003 for fishing during the summer-time ban, Taipei’s data shows. Taiwan too has detained five such boats from China this year alone.

Taiwanese authorities say they were alerted at 20:04 local time (12:04 GMT) on Tuesday by the captain that officers from two Chinese coast guard vessels had boarded and seized the fishing boat.

There was a brief but tense standoff as three Taiwanese coast guard ships were dispatched to rescue the boat. But they said they did not pursue them because there were four other Chinese coast guard ships approaching and they did not want to escalate tensions.

China’s coast guard says the Taiwanese used loudspeakers to demand the release of the fishing boat – and the Chinese did the same, asking the other side not to interfere.

“There were 40 to 50 fishing boats out at sea at the time. I don’t know why he targeted my boat,” the owner of the fishing vessel told local media. “This never happened before – in the past they would just chase you away if you got too close.”

China’s coast guard has been enforcing Beijing’s assertive claims

Beijing and Taipei used to be more flexible about each other’s fishing fleets, especially around Taiwan’s off-shore islands, which lie extremely close to the Chinese coast.

But in recent years Taiwan has been enforcing its own waters more strictly – a response to what it says is a massive increase in poaching by fishermen from China’s coastal Fujian province.

In February, two Chinese fishermen drowned after their boat overturned while trying to outrun a Taiwanese coast guard boat. Since then, China’s coast guard has turned more assertive in patrolling around Taiwan’s outlying islands.

China has also become increasingly aggressive in enforcing what it sees as its maritime claims across the region. Its coast guard has become the most visbile arm of Beijing’s vast naval operation.

Its dispute with the Philipines over a number of reefs in the South China Sea has caught the most attention and has raised Washington’s concerns.

‘Close enough to see their faces’: Chased down by China in South China Sea

But the Chinese coast guard has also stepped up its actions around a Japanese-controlled group of islands in the East China Sea, known in Japan as the Senkaku and in China as the Diaoyu.

Last month Chinese coast guard ships took the unprecedented step of driving away Japanese fishing boats close to the islets. It led to a brief stand-off between Chinese and Japanese coast guard ships.

This more assertive Chinese behaviour also comes just weeks after Beijing implemented new maritime regulations that give it’s coast guard personnel wide powers to board, search and detain vessels inside all waters China claims.

Under the new regulations, foreign nationals who are considered to have violated “exit and entry rules” can be detained without charge for up to 60 days.

The new regulations were thought to have been aimed mostly at deterring Filipino fishermen from entering disputed reefs in the South China Sea.

But maritime scholars have been quick to point out that China has expansive, poorly- defined claims across thousands of square kilometers of sea that are disputed by all of its neighbors from South Korea to Indonesia.
