President Donald Trump detailed his plans to instruct DOGE lead, Elon Musk, to probe the Education and Defense Departments for wasteful spending. The President told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier in an exclusive pre-Super Bowl interview that the billionaire entrepreneur has been a trustworthy ally in fulfilling his promise to cut the red tape.
“He’s not gaining anything. In fact, I wonder how he can devote the time to it,” Trump said.
Baier’s interview with Trump, slated to air during a special 3 p.m. time slot on Sunday — mere hours before the Super Bowl LIX coin toss — will focus on the changes the Trump administration has enacted since his inauguration last month and the first 100 days of his presidency.
Among those changes has been implementing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Since Jan. 20, the department aimed at upending federal agencies has traced where money has been going.
The moves have been met with outrage from some Democrats, including a group who attempted to enter the Department of Education in light of possible cuts last week. Thirty House Democrats attempted to enter the Department of Education building in Washington, D.C., on Friday morning to meet with acting Education Secretary Denise L. Carter, but they were stopped by security.
President Donald Trump and Republicans have advocated shutting down the Department of Education, saying that the states are better equipped to handle education. Trump on Tuesday said that if Linda McMahon, his pick for education secretary, is confirmed, she should work to “put herself out of a job.”

Tulsi Gabbard appears to be seeking to assuage senators’ concerns about her nomination in a new opinion piece explaining why she thought “traitor” was too harsh a word for Edward Snowden.
Gabbard, President Donald Trump’s pick for director of national intelligence (DNI), did not endorse Snowden’s whistleblowing actions during her confirmation hearing, but her refusal to call him a traitor left some Republicans unsettled.
She admitted that Snowden’s release of classified information to the media “harmed our national security” but also “revealed illegal and unconstitutional government programs that conducted mass surveillance of millions of Americans’ data.”

What is so special about GOLD? Why has it endured in times of war, political upheaval and economic turbulence? What is money and how does one value it? These are questions that “time” has answered.
Countries have gone to war over gold, pillaged, robbed, murdered and savaged unsuspecting peoples. If printing paper was money, why seek gold in the first place? “TRUST” in government is the number one priority of a stable currency; without trust, citizens resort to the accumulation of precious metals; this is to secure their wealth. Governments have tried to prevent citizens from holding gold, but in the end they all have failed.
And now world governments sit on the precipice of massive inflation, one which there is no viable solution. Trillions upon trillions of dollars have been printed by world governments since March 2020. The continuation of printing continues without interruption; a runaway freight train that can’t be stopped. Revolution or War is the end result.
Socialist governments have seen this show before. For instance, some were on our southern border, for instance Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil; burning investors over and over again. Has the time come for the United States to join the club?
Outright theft by governments have taught citizens from around the world that the devaluation of money through printing is thievery. So, to ward off the devaluation of their wealth, they resort to the purchase of gold, silver, platinum, palladium; they trust no one accept themselves when it comes to protecting their wealth. Therefore, it is imperative that citizens take note of what is happening in currency markets today. The dollar has been devalued in terms of gold which has risen by over $1000 during the past five years.

One person on the ground was among those killed when a small medevac jet crashed in a Philadelphia neighborhood Friday night, injuring at least 19 others — while horrified residents watched the unfolding “carnage in their communities,” officials said Saturday.
The fiery wreck killed all six people on board the Learjet 55 that took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport — including a young girl from Mexico who was receiving “life-saving treatment” in the US, her mother, a doctor, paramedic, pilot, and co-pilot.
A seventh victim was killed in a car on the street when the plane went down on Cottman Avenue near Roosevelt Mall, Mayor Cherelle Parker confirmed Saturday.
