Israel is not bombing civilian population centers. The primary reason for this is twofold; number one is for public relations, number two is that they support life. However, as this war endures Israel’s patience is being tested.
Israel’s thinking is that an Iranian uprising will occur, taking down the Ayatollah, ala Romanian style. Now is the time for civilians to act because the time is of the essence. In that vein, Israel has warned civilians to flee residential areas in close proximity to military targets.
According to the WSJ there is a price on the head of the Ayatollah. A walking’Dead Man’ sort to speak.
However, the current situation does not give credence to any type of civilian uprising. As we said before, the only way to prevent Iran from threatening Israel is to chop off the head of the snake.
To prevent further threats by the murderers in Iran, it will be necessary to rationalize their military machine and their nuclear ambitions. The rocket launchers and Houthis must be dealt with. And to top it off, Israel needs access to the “bunker buster” which will literally take out their nuclear ambitions at Fordo.
The US military is rolling into Washington DC this week for a rare public display of strength on Saturday to celebrate the army’s 250th anniversary.
President Donald Trump, who has long dreamt of holding such an event, will watch on as more than 6,000 troops, 150 vehicles and 50 aircraft take part in a military parade.
Trump, who coincidentally turns 79 on the same day, says the event will honour the US military’s role in major historical victories and celebrate American power.
But the one-day event, which the Army has said could cost up to $45 million (£33m), has been criticised by some as a vanity project and a poor use of taxpayers’ money.
So we’ve taken a look at what we can expect to see in Washington DC on Saturday and why it is costing so much money.
When did this last happen in the US?
While military parades are common in some countries – think Bastille Day in France or Victory Day in Russia – it’s fairly rare for them to be held in the US.
The last one on a similar scale was when 8,000 troops took to the streets of DC to celebrate the end of the first Gulf War in 1991.

One of the highlights for spectators this year will be tanks and other armoured vehicles rolling along the streets of the capital. They arrived in the city last weekend after making most of the 1,500-mile journey from Texas by train.

Each Abrams tank weighs about 70 tons (63 tonnes) so a large part of the logistical challenge for the army is ensuring the capital’s streets can deal with the heavy load. According to the DC Department of Transport, the city’s roads can take a maximum weight of 40 tons (36 tonnes).
To lessen any damage caused to the roads, army engineers have spent the past week laying steel plates at key junctions along the route where the vehicles need to turn. They have also fitted new rubber pads on to tank and armoured vehicle tracks to stop them from chewing up the road.

The length of the parade’s route has been reduced in recent weeks due to concern about how some of the roads would fare. It will be going along Constitution Avenue, starting at the corner of Constitution Avenue NW and 23rd Street and ending on 15th Street alongside the National Mall.

Democratic lawmakers denied entry to detention centers in LA and New York
Members of Congress sought to check on individuals who were detained during immigration raids and protests
Democratic members of Congress from California and New York say that they were blocked from entering federal detention facilities over the weekend while seeking to inspect conditions and check on individuals detained during immigration raids and related protests.
In Los Angeles, the US House members Maxine Waters, Jimmy Gomez and Norma Torres each said that they were denied entry to the Metropolitan federal detention center, outside of which there had been anti-immigration customs enforcement (Ice) protests.
Gomez and Torres attempted to visit the facility on Saturday, saying they sought to investigate “Ice’s inhumane detention of immigrant families”.
In a video posted outside the building after they were turned away, Gomez said that their positions in Congress gave them the right to conduct oversight of the detention conditions and the welfare of the people detained.
Gomez also claimed that officers outside the federal building sprayed an irritant in the air to “push us back” and “get us to leave” – and said that most of the people around them were attorneys, members of Congress, journalists and organizers.
“This is really to prevent us from doing our jobs” Gomez said, and Torres called it “unconscionable”.
In the video outside the detention center, Gomez said there were “only about 20” protesters outside the building.
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement to the Guardian that “at the time lawmakers tried to enter the federal building, more than 1,000 rioters had surrounded the building”.
The spokesperson said, in part, that “the lawmakers were turned away in the interest of their safety and the safety of our law enforcement”.
A video captured by CNN shows Waters being denied entry as the door was shut in her face.
Elsewhere in California, Congress members Gilbert R Cisneros Jr, Judy Chu and Derek Tran reported being blocked from entering Adelanto Ice processing center on Sunday.
Cisneros said that they were attempting to “conduct congressional oversight at the Adelanto Ice facility” but that “they locked the gate, ignored our calls, and denied us entry”.
“I will continue to press for answers as our community is under attack,” he added.
In New York, Congress members Adriano Espaillat and Nydia Velázquez said that they were denied access to a Manhattan detention facility, where they had sought to perform a drop-in check to investigate the conditions.
“We are very concerned about what is happening in this building,” Espaillat said after being denied entry. “We will continue to come back until we are allowed to have access.”
The DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement to the Guardian that the New York lawmakers “showed up unannounced and demanded entry while law enforcement operations were being conducted”.
“They were told by Ice that they would be happy to give them a tour with a little more notice, when it would not disrupt ongoing law enforcement activities and sensitive law enforcement items could be put away,” she added. “We will always prioritize the safety of our officers and operations.”
It didn’t take long for anarchy to prevail. Los Angeles mayor Bass has set the crowd afire. The anarchist crowd is on the loose, bombing, stabbed, injuring federal officers, including those of ICE and Homeland Security.
Among the law breakers are BLM aficionados, Antifa members and saboteurs. Many of them been arrested before, but released by liberal judges and state prosecutors. This is a signal of what they have in store for America, chaos, bedlam, destruction, and murder. Trump has activated the National guard to support local enforcement efforts. This is a sign of what the future holds.

President Donald Trump on Sunday morning thanked the National Guard “for a job well done” in responding to anti-ICE demonstrations in Los Angeles, California, and said masks will not be allowed at protests.

President Donald Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum deploying 2,000 National Guardsmen to Paramount, California after immigration authorities driving in the area were pelted with rocks, stones, and concrete — shattering government vehicle windshields.
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks shared a photo of one Border Patrol agent’s bloody hand, which was injured by a rock flying through the windshield.
Federal sources said agents could have been killed by the flying debris.
“Doesn’t matter where you came from, how you got here, or what movement speaks to you. If the local police force won’t back our men and women on the thin blue line, we @FBI will,” Patel wrote on X.
The bureau has an entire force dedicated to immigration, with its highest concentration in Los Angeles.

The fiery Paramount protest marked the second consecutive day of substantial violent riots in Los Angeles.
On Friday night, more than 1,000 Los Angeles rioters surrounded a federal law enforcement building and assaulted ICE agents, slashed tires, and defaced buildings.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said protesters would not slow ICE agents down, and cautioned rioters.
“If you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem wrote in an X post.
