Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin said Saturday that if he is elected the commonwealth’s next governor he will “ban” the teaching of critical race theory on his first day in office.
Youngkin’s remarks came as he spoke about educational improvements he would implement in the state should he be elected.

7 REPUBLICAN SENATORS VOTE TO CONVICT TRUMP ON INCITEMENT CHARGE
Republican senators who voted to convict former President Donald Trump on Saturday in the Senate impeachment trial on the charge of inciting an insurrection are already facing backlash in their home states.
The seven GOP senators who joined with all Democrats in finding Trump guilty were: Sens. Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.
Toomey and Burr are retiring. Cassady will be censured by the Republicans.
McCain still has not gotten over his presidential defeat including Trump’s remark concerning his time in Viet Nam. Therefore She has held Trump hostage regarding the rollback of Obama Care. Susan Collins, listening to her for a moment, if you can, will cause you immediate pain. Murkowski, she should not be there. Ted Stevens was the Senior Senator until trumped up charges by Democratic partisans caused him to be arrested and convicted. These charges were later dismissed under appeal, but too late as he lost the Senate seat. Murkowski is now an Alaskan Senator because of that.

Former President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he’s launching a new social network called Truth Social, whose goal is to push back against Big Tech, according to a press release purported to come from one of his companies. The Trump Media and Technology Group, which made the announcement, said the social network will begin a limited beta launch in November, with a wider rollout expected in the first quarter of 2022.
“I created Truth Social and TMGT to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech,” Trump said in the press release sent to the media. “We live in a world where the Taliban has a presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American president has been silenced.”
