Ten Democrats joined with House Republicans on Thursday to censure Rep. Al Green for his protest during President Donald Trump’s address to Congress this week — a formal condemnation of the Texas Democrat’s actions.
The vote highlights divisions within the Democratic Party over how some members protested the president’s remarks. Locked out of power in Washington, Democrats are searching to find a compelling, unified message to counter Trump and the new administration – a struggle playing out not only on Capitol Hill but across the country.
Divergent tactics were on full display during the Tuesday night address, with some Democrats holding signs, walking out or boycotting it altogether. Others took a more muted approach, following the guidance of House Democratic leadership, who had urged members not to mount high-profile protests and to show restraint during the address, cautioning that the GOP could seize on such actions.
Two bit thug Judge appointed by Biden ruled that Trump illeglly fired the head of Office of Special Counsel. This judge has abrogated the law by reinstatement. Trump’s legal team immediately filed an appeal.
There is a bottom line here concerning the numerous lawsuits filed by the progressive Democrats who do not believe in democracy. According to their reading of the constituion, the Executive Branch has no executive power.
We shall see the eventual outcome of these suits. The Supreme Court must act quickly to decide the power of the Presidency. We cannot be held hostage for four years. As they did in 2017, the sleaze ball democrats brought suit, impeachment proceedings etc. then in the interim brought lawsuits in NY and Georgia, all in the name of democracy. Of course this was weaponization of of the law, targeting Trump. However, it backfired. Trump won and the Pervs lost. Now they are trying to set back the clock.

The Trump administration will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a lower court ruling that ordered a government ethics watchdog reinstated to his post after the president fired him.
Hampton Dellinger, leader of the whistleblower protection agency the Office of Special Counsel, sued the Trump administration after he was fired this month.
A district judge had ordered Dellinger, a Biden appointee, to be temporarily reinstated during ongoing legal proceedings. A panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., denied the Trump administration’s request to overturn the district judge’s order on procedural grounds Saturday.
The Justice Department plans to elevate the case to the Supreme Court, asking it to intervene by allowing the administration to keep Dellinger off the job while litigation proceeds, according to a copy of the application provided by a Justice Department official. The application has not yet been docketed at the Supreme Court.
The application argues that lower courts’ actions limited President Donald Trump’s ability to manage the executive branch and that “preventing him from exercising these powers thus inflicts the gravest of injuries on the Executive Branch and the separation of powers.”
“The United States now seeks this Court’s intervention because these judicial rulings irreparably harm the Presidency by curtailing the President’s ability to manage the Executive Branch in the earliest days of his Administration,” read the application, which was signed by acting Solicitor General Sarah M. Harris.
Democrats chose a loser in Kamala Harris, one without being battle tested; never receiving a vote. But Trump, showed his will power by choosing J.D.
