THE DARK HORSE ENTERS THE RACE

Nobody gave Bernie Sanders a chance, he was a dark horse in the race to capture the Democratic nomination. An avowed socialist from the Green Mountain State of Vermont, Bernie caucused with the Democrats, but was an Independent. Now he is running as a Democrat. There aren’t many bad things you can say personally about Bernie. He has captured the youth vote., the same type of thunder caught by Eugene McCarthy back in 1968.

As they say in horse racing parlance Hillary has blown the turn. Blew the turn: means the horse did not corner properly going into the turn, ran wide and most likely had a disastrous finish. This defines Hillary to a tee; she is not going to hit the board.

The latest New Hampshire poll has put Bernie Sanders in the lead by 7%. The Hillary road to the White House has been trumped by the 70 year old Vermont Senator. From the start HRC’s campaign has been paved with pot holes, but now it is mired in a deep rut having been demolished by the Sander’s frost heave. But nothing is more destructive to Hillary’s campaign than the lies lies that keep rolling out of her big mouth.

What gets our goat, after 6 years as Secretary of State, the lady doesn’t know what is top secret and what is not. Hillary has constantly said that no top secret emails existed on the server; not true.

We constantly demanded that server in so far as advocating the the Sargent of Arms go to Chappaqua CHAPPAQUA and literally haul it out of Clinton’s house; according to today’s report she is ready to turn over the server – no doubt that it has been immersed in Clorox for at least a week. But the real reason she is turning it over is due to the implosion of her run for the White House.

Thus far Hillary Clinton’s road to the White House has been as smooth as a scoop of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.  The powers behind the thrown are all in, including the likes of Randi Weingarten‘s American Federation of Teachers (AFT) union. Unwavered support of them was a no brainer.

However, Richard Trumpka of the AFL-CIO has not handed over the expected endorsement. What troubles the AFL-CIO boss is Hillary’s stance on the recently passed trade legislation. Clinton has not made a decision on it. This is troubling to the union boss who is adamantly against the trade deal.  Also, another unanticipated speed bump in the name of Bernie Sanders has popped up; and he is picking up union support along the way. As of yet none of Hillary’s organizers have suffered agita, but sometimes it takes awhile before the stomach acids regurgitate.

If Hillary makes a “no”decision on trade she will risk Democrat support in the larger battle to come. Keep in mind that President Obama needed the support of a Republican Congress to pass the legislation. Hillary is in between the proverbial rock and hard place; Bernice Sanders is dead set against the trade deal. This put pressure on HRC to just say “no”, but the risks are many especially when it comes to the main bout.  Seen as anti growth, anti trade, Hillary will be pilloried throughout the campaign.

How she talks her way out of this one would be a sight to see.

 

“WHAT HILLARY PROBLEM”

The Democrat hierarchy is beginning to sweat bullets, Bernie bullets. What seemed to be a shoe-in, a coronation in kind, a reward for past transgressions an odds on favorite no less, a lead pipe cinch to slide into glory has now turned into something like a mad scramble. We like this; for it will require debate.

The powers to be do not want a debate, they expected an easy campaign rolling into victory night. Well, well, well. Think of the way the Republicans tore each other apart like carnivorous dogs in 2012; wasn’t it a pleasure seeing their blood flowing; “can you help me with that?”

A bloody spectator sport is politics and it ain’t gonna get easy for Ms. Foggy Bottom. In case you haven’t noticed Bernie Sanders is on a roll, crowds are starting to swell, these aren’t the old fart types who idol HRC, but a new generation of enthusiasts, a coalition brought together to say no to politics as usual, they are that is sick and tired of being pushed to accept the smoked fill room candidate. A challenge to the old guard may be in the cards.

Imagine a debate where Hillary slips and slides in the mud, her tarnished reputation will certainly be the focal point and why not? The lady can’t be trusted; she will say anything, do anything, kill anyone if it results in her “moving forward.” Although Hillary has raised $45,000,000 million last quarter. This was expected.

Going back in time to 1968 LBJ (Lyndon Baines Johnson) was thought to be a shoe-in but his reelection was contested by Eugene McCarthy in the early primaries. Obviously the time was very controversial due to the Viet Nam war. Johnson decided to pull the plug announcing he would not run. The ground swell surge that McCarthy, the anti Viet Nam war candidate, was a factor in Johnson’s withdrawing from the race. Could it be that we are seeing a similar pattern here?\

The public is fed up with the Hillary obfuscation regarding Benghazi, the Clinton foundation payola scheme, her appearance fees fees, the E-mail boondoggle to name a few. Also, the nuclear deal which Obama is about to sign has Hillary written all over it. Don’t be surprised if history repeats itself in a Hillary withdrawal.
