BIDEN’S UNABRIDGED VERSION OF THE DICTIONARY
Time tested analysis indicated that the economy was in RECESSION if the GDP decreased two quarters in a row. Empirical evidence was not to be denied by economists of all stripes. But today, we find Branden and his cohorts dismissing what Americans already know. The economy is tanking just like Branden’s JOB APPROVAL.
Comments by the White House: WHAT RECESSION – THE ECONOMY IS DOING GREAT!

HOW LOW CAN YOU GO? ONLY JOE KNOWS! MAYBE HE DOESN’T.
BIDEN’S BIG HEAD DUE TO INFLATION
Biden’s dementia is a thing of beauty. Because he is doing such a wonderful job, keeping inflation under control, pulling out of Afghanistan, not getting involved in Ukraine, not bowing to Crown Prince, producing a low interest rate environment, ensuring that our military remains strong, reaching out to our European partners, visiting Israel, inviting millions of our friends from the southern border for a free unlimited visit, kissing up to the mullahs, embracing the high price of gas, being nice to China’s president Xi, and not alienating Vlad Putin. DID WE MISS ANYTHING?

TRUMP TRAIN READY TO ROLL TOWARD 2024
The former president seemed to indicate in an interview published Thursday by New York Magazine that his 2024 decision is about when – not if.
“I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after,” Trump said in an interview published Thursday, seemingly referring to the midterm elections in November.

The comments, which grabbed plenty of attention, seemed to confirm previous reporting from a handful of news organizations including Fox News that the former president and his top political aides have been mulling the timing of when Trump should announce a 2024 bid. And Fox News confirmed a report a few days ago from Politico that Trump’s been discussing his 2024 plans with top donors at small dinners in recent months.

BULLITZER PRIZE – THE FAKE NEWS OUTLET
Former President Trump scolded the Pulitzer Prize Board Monday for standing by its 2018 National Reporting prizes given to The New York Times and Washington Post for “largely debunked” coverage of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
“The Pulitzer Board has taken away any shred of credibility it had left with its ‘response’ regarding the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting, which was awarded to The New York Times and The Washington Post for blatant fake news,” Trump told Fox News Digital.
“Instead of acting with integrity and providing transparency, the Pulitzer Board is running cover for the biggest reporting failure in modern history: the fake Russia Russia Russia collusion hoax. Why would The Washington Post or The New York Times ever want to admit their obvious mistakes and come clean when their false reporting is being guarded, and awarded, by the Pulitzer Prize, which at one point actually meant something? These outlets should hand back their prizes without notification from Pulitzer, which would be the honorable thing to do,” Trump continued. “The only way The New York Times and The Washington Post should get a possible Pulitzer Prize would be in a new category—disinformation, for helping to perpetrate a false story created and peddled by Crooked Hillary Clinton, the DNC, and certain lowlife Democrats.”

BIDEN FIST PUMPS SAUDI MBK BUT BOWS TO PALESTINIAN ABBAS
President Joe Biden’s proposal to reopen a US consulate in Jerusalem for the Palestinians.
Last month, the US State Department upgraded the office to the Palestinians in Jerusalem without opening a consulate. It changed the name to the “US Office of Palestinian Affairs in Jerusalem,” and it is allowing it to report directly to the Near Eastern Affairs Bureau in the State Department.
When will this stop? Trump broke the mold of bowing to the pseudo palestinians, he dist. them in favor of the Abraham Accords. A major achievement in the hot bed Middle East. The United States is once again funding them to the tune of one Billion dollars . Don’t these people works? Apparently not, they are too busy building rockets in hospitals and schools.
FROM THE STATE DEPARTMENT
U.S. Assistance for the Palestinian People
As I announced yesterday, the United States is in the process of providing more than $360 million in assistance to the Palestinian people. This includes $38 million in new assistance to support humanitarian efforts in the West Bank and Gaza. This new assistance includes nearly $33 million for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in support of its West Bank and Gaza operations, and an additional $5.5 million to humanitarian partners. This critical assistance will support humanitarian organizations to provide emergency shelter, food, relief items, and health care, as well as mental health and psychosocial support for those who experienced trauma.
Additionally, working with Congress, the State Department and USAID intend to provide $75 million in additional development and economic assistance over the next year that will support relief and recovery in the West Bank and Gaza. This funding will advance private sector growth and access to basic needs and services, such as providing health care and addressing food insecurity. Pending completion of congressional notification, another $10 million will support programs that support reconciliation work to reduce tension and violence over the long term.
This assistance is in addition to the more than $250 million in economic, development, security, and humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people announced in March and April, bringing planned U.S. assistance to more than $360 million. All of these funds will be administered in a way that benefit the Palestinian people — not Hamas, which has only brought misery and despair to Gaza. The U.S. government is also firmly committed to ensuring all its assistance is provided consistent with applicable U.S. law, including the Taylor Force Act.
U.S. foreign assistance for the Palestinian people serves important U.S. interests and values. It provides critical relief to those in great need, fosters economic development, and supports Israeli-Palestinian understanding, security coordination, and stability. It also aligns with the values and interests of our allies and partners.
The United States will continue to encourage other donors to support humanitarian and recovery efforts in the West Bank and Gaza, and programs and activities that work toward a common goal of stability and progress for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

“Let me just give you what the facts are in terms of the state of the economy,” Biden said in a speech that was billed as remarks on the latest budget bill in Congress. “Number one, we have a record job market, and record unemployment of 3.6%, and businesses are investing in America at record rates.” He then listed several companies planning to build factories in the U.S. before concluding, “that doesn’t sound like a recession to me.”
Outside the White House bubble, however, the latest GDP data sounded a lot like a recession.
On Thursday, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis reported that gross domestic product, the broadest measure of economic activity, fell 0.9% in the second quarter.
Coming on the heels of a 1.6% contraction in the first quarter, the two straight declines meet the most commonly used definition of a recession. The official arbiter of recessions, the National Bureau of Economic Research, likely won’t rule for months.
Later in the day, Biden held a roundtable event with five chief executives of major companies, also aimed at showcasing the strength of the American economy. The leaders of Corning, Marriott International, Bank of America, TIAA and Deloitte were all present, with Marriott’s Tony Capuano and Corning’s Wendell Weeks attending in person.
“There’s gonna be a lot of chatter today on Wall Street and among pundits about whether we are in a recession,” Biden said in his opening remarks. “But if you look at our job market, consumer spending, business investment, we see signs of economic progress in the second quarter, as well.”
Biden also quoted Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, who said Wednesday that he did not believe the economy was currently in a recession because “there are too many areas of economic growth where the economy is performing too well.”
What Biden did not mention was that Powell was speaking moments after the Fed announced a second 0.75 percentage point rate hike in as many months, the first time in the modern history of the central bank that it has had two rate increases of three-quarters of a point back to back.
Biden was not the only major figure who went before the cameras Thursday to contend that what the U.S. economy is experiencing is not, in fact, a recession. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen held a rare, stand-alone news conference at the Treasury in between the president’s two events.
