Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York arrived at the Met Gala on Monday evening dressed in a custom Brother Vellies ivory wool jacket dress with an organza flounce and the message “Tax the Rich” emblazoned in red across her back.

In video footage shot before her arrival, she can be seen making her way to the vehicle that delivered her to the gala, a masked aide holding up the train of her dress while she smiled brightly and waved at her fans.

Designers and corporate sponsors generally pay the hefty price of admission — $35,000 a ticket, or $200,000 to $300,000 a table — for the gala’s guests, who typically include a quorum of Kardashians, Hollywood A-listers and supermodels. The star-studded event is often referred to as the Oscars of fashion.

Many New York City elected officials are invited as well, as “guests of the museum” who do not pay to attend.

AOC says she may draft Clarence Thomas impeachment article if no one else does

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., renewed her calls for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be impeached after a report detailed the justice’s close relationship with a billionaire Republican donor — going so far as to say she will introduce articles of impeachment herself.

In comments made on the “Lever Time” podcast Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez said Thomas’ position on the court is an “emergency” and a “crisis,” and reiterated her full support for removing him.

When asked if she would introduce the articles of impeachment herself, the New York lawmaker said she would step up if no one else does.

“Congress is out of session for the next week. And so that does give Democrats some time to strategize, and the way I feel about it is that, I do think articles need to be introduced,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

Democrats have expressed outrage at Thomas because of his wife’s conservative political activities and, most recently, a report that claimed the justice has received lavish gifts from a GOP mega-donor and never disclosed them.

A ProPublica investigation found that Thomas’ close friendship with real estate developer Harlan Crow allowed him to accompany the Texas billionaire on luxury vacations on his private jet and yacht, as well as enjoy free stays on Crow’s vast vacation property, among other perks. He reportedly failed to disclose the vast majority of Crow’s gifts.

In a statement Friday, Thomas described Harlan and Kathy Crow as “among our dearest friends.”

“As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them,” Thomas said. “Early in my tenure at the Court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable.”

They, ” excuse me, but your are lying like all Libtards. There are plenty of studies that prove that differences exist. We are not saying that applies to all, after all there are outliers.”

Teacher, “So, to make things right we have to reverse this scenario, the injustices of the past. The day has come where we need to recognize the errors of our ways. Do you understand what I am trying to tell you? By recognizing our guilt; we can move forward into a new era, one where all people of color will be placed in powerful positions, judges, prosecutors, doctors, nurses, engineers, managers, corporate titans, mayors, governors and presidents. What is so special about GOLD? Why has it endured in times of war, political upheaval and economic turbulence? What is money and how does one value it? These are questions that “time” has answered.

Countries have gone to war over gold, pillaged, robbed, murdered and savaged unsuspecting peoples. If printing paper was money, why seek gold in the first place? “TRUST” in government is the number one priority of a stable currency; without trust, citizens resort to the accumulation of precious metals; this is to secure their wealth. Governments have tried to prevent citizens from holding gold, but in the end they all have failed.

And now world governments sit on the precipice of massive inflation, one which there is no viable solution. Trillions upon trillions of dollars have been printed by world governments since March 2020. The continuation of printing continues without interruption; a runaway freight train that can’t be stopped. Revolution or War is the end result.

World governments have seen this show before. They were all socialist in nature. For instance some were on our southern border, for instance Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil; burning investors over and over again.

Citizens around the world have learned from past experience that the devaluation of money through printing, let’s call currency money as an academic illustration to make a point, is outright theft by government. So, to ward off the devaluation of their wealth, they resort to the purchase of gold, silver, platinum, palladium; they trust no one accept themselves when it comes to protecting their wealth. Therefore, it is imperative that citizens take note of what is happening in currency markets today. The dollar has been devalued in terms of gold which has risen by over $600 during the past five years.

World currencies are being devalued en masse, they are no longer a stable source of money when compared to real money, that is GOLD. We have not seen the ultimate collapse yet, but rest assured it is not too far off. Its UGLY HEAD HAS BEEN RAISED, CPI UP 5.4%.

What will trigger this BLACK SWAN EVENT is an out of nowhere SUPER surge in inflation. Think of prices rising by 10% in an instant, reminiscent of the Weimar Republic. For this to occur is not out of the realm of possibility. 

Protect yourself and be safe, but be careful America. Your well being is the number one priority in the calamity we see ahead.

First it was salt, then spice, then paper, but in the end it was gold. They tried them all, as they say, “you can fool some of the people, some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.” And it has come to pass, the “ALMIGHTY DOLLAR” is slowly dissolving like the piece of paper it is printed on. Don’t take our word for it though, check the status of soon to be reserve currencies, like the Chinese renminbi (aka yuan) or perhaps the Russian ruble. Don’t despair, the cryptocurrency world is at your fingertips. If that doesn’t suit you, GO FOR THE GOLD, but SILVER will do just fine. To those of the initiated, they know where the price is headed, and that is north. The everlasting obituary is premature, the body has not been declared mortal. And as the eternal rays provide life to all, the man who has gold in his hand will endure for a lifetime.

Gold has been on a tear of late, rising from the mid 1700’s to the 1840 level. The sign of inflation is in the air. A whiff of the third quarter numbers will reveal what is in the black box. Our guess, and it is only a guess, we are not economists, places the number at 3.5%. You can’t keep a good man down, can you. The second quarter won’t be that horrible though, somewhere in the 2.5% range. Don’t forget that the Biden team has their thumb on the scale. And to make a salient point, economists are always right, it is the timing that is wrong. BTW, they have predicted 8 of the last 4 recessions. Batting 50% is a admirable achievement in most sports.

Billionaire investor Sam Zell is also now buying gold, despite decades of criticizing those who purchase it, reports ETF Trends. Zell says it is because these monetary policies may create inflation like the 1970s and gold could be a hedge.

North Carolina school taking heat for letting drag queen straddle student

A North Carolina community college is looking to “revise campus policies” after coming under fire last week for a video showing a drag queen straddling a female student sitting in a chair during an LGBTQ+ pride event on campus.

Critics say Winston-Salem area Forsyth Technical Community College, which offers two on-campus high school programs allowing students as young as 14 to enroll beginning in the ninth grade, poses larger concerns over minors being exposed to sexually explicit behavior.

Alex Nester of Parents Defending Education ripped the incident Sunday on “Fox News Live,” invoking overarching concerns over what’s going on in America’s education system and asking anchor Mike Emanuel, “Where are the adults?”

Shot NYC parking-garage worker who fired at suspected thief weeps while cuffed to bed

The Manhattan parking-garage worker who was initially hit with an attempted-murder rap for shooting an armed would-be thief wept as he lay handcuffed to his hospital bed Sunday, stunned at his fate.

“I got bullets in me, and I’m chained to a hospital bed, but I didn’t do anything wrong,” Moussa Diarra, 57, lamented, according to Meyers Parking’s Chief Operating Officer Michael Carolan, who spoke to The Post.

Diarra was shot twice during a tussle with suspected thief Charles Rhodie at Carolan’s West 31st Street garage early Saturday before using the accused man’s weapon to shoot him back.

Diarra was initially charged by cops in the case, including with criminal possession of a weapon for having Rhodie’s gun at one point, but Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office Sunday dropped the raps. Rhodie still faces charges including attempted murder.

Before Diarra was cleared, he looked absolutely crestfallen in a photo at Bellevue Hospital obtained by The Post.

“One of my first thoughts was a political football, and this gentleman shouldn’t become a political football,” Carolan said — as Bragg continues to take heat over his local alleged soft-on-crime policies.

The attendant confronted the intruder, and the two got into a scuffle, with Rhodie pulling out a handgun and shooting Diarra twice, only to have the attendant wrestle the gun away and fire a shot into Rhodie’s chest, according to police.

Diarra had surgery for two bullet wounds, one to his gut and the other to his ear, his lawyer, Charles Clayman, told The Post on Sunday.

Cops ended up charging both men with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon — leaving Diarra not only wounded but baffled.

The cuffs only came off him later Sunday, after Bragg’s office announced that it was declining to prosecute Diarra pending further investigation.

“My understanding is they saw [Rhodie] kind of in between vehicles,” Carolan said. “So, they brought him downstairs, and there was a conversation about a bag and wanting to make sure he didn’t take anything while he was up there for that brief time.

“He pulled out a gun, and [Diarra’s] flight or fight kicks in,” he said. “I’m sure he was nervous and panicked and reacted.”

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Saturday that

a Manhattan grand jury’s decision to indict former President Donald Trump during his third bid for the White House is “very political” and “not a matter of justice.”

Bush, who challenged Trump for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016, noted in a tweet that Trump was indicted on case that other prosecutors refused to move forward with before Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office revived it recently.

“Bragg’s predecessor didn’t take up the case. The Justice Department didn’t take up the case. Bragg first said he would not take up the case. This is very political, not a matter of justice,” Bush, the second son of former President George H.W. Bush wrote in a tweet.

“Alvin Bragg’s political prosecution is going to make President Trump stronger,” former GOP congressman and New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin told The Post.

The prosecution of Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg won’t dim his political chances — and could actually boost his campaign to retake the White House, supporters and bitter foes alike said Saturday.

“Alvin Bragg’s political prosecution is going to make President Trump stronger,” former GOP congressman and New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin told The Post.

Even “independent-minded general election voters” could gain sympathy for the embattled Trump as the case over a years-old hush-money payment drags on through the 2024 presidential primaries and beyond, Zeldin said.

“Many of them are already raising significant concerns about this indictment and expressing how they believe this is a political prosecution,” he said.

Billboard Chris, whose full name is Chris Elston, posted intense footage of several altercations that happened between him and rally goers on a common green in a local Vancouver neighborhood that day.

Initial video recorded by Elston captured him joining an ally videographer friend as he debated with one of the rally goers. While this was occurring, pro-trans activists ominously surrounded them and started making physical contact. As Billboard Chris tried to push through to his ally, one activist impeded his path and forcefully told him, “Absolutely don’t touch me.”

Another activist, who appeared to be a female with a trans flag, rushed up to Elston with a pink marker and started scribbling on him. “Oh, here we go,” Chris observed, “I’m getting painted on already.”

Suddenly the camera jerked wildly, indicating that Elston was being pushed or hit by someone out of frame. As it happened, he could be heard saying, “Been here five seconds, and I’m already getting assaulted.”

As the first physical confrontation ended, Elston asked his friend, “Oh, am I bleeding already?” His friend responded, “Yeah, you got a scratch.” Additional footage posted subsequently showed him with a cut a on the bridge of his nose – likely the injury he was speaking about in the video.

A second clip of Elston’s rally attendance that day showed a far worse attack from the pro-trans people in a much clearer light. This time the activist was depicted being attacked from a third-person perspective.
