WALZ SKIPPED TOWN KNOWING IN ADVANCE HE WAS GOING TO IRAQ

Tim Walz’s former military superior made claims that called into question the Minnesota governor’s conduct in the U.S. National Guard during a CNN interview.

During his interview with CNN, former Minnesota National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Doug Julin appeared to bolster criticism that Walz abandoned the unit with his account of the former Guardsman going around him to leave the National Guard before his team went to Iraq.

He relayed to CNN anchor Laura Coates that Walz and the whole unit – “including my boss, commander, and the command team” – had multiple meetings to discuss deployment months before Walz sought retirement.

According to the former sergeant major, Walz was at each of these meetings. Julin also asserted that in the lead up to deployment Walz assured him that he was going to join the battalion in Iraq.

However, he told Coates that in June 2005, he found out that Walz had quit without telling him, having gotten permission to retire from a higher-level officer – a break in protocol, according to Julin.
“Tim Walz knew the process and procedures, he went around me and above and beyond me… basically went in there to get somebody to back him… it was just a backdoor process,” he told Coates.

KAMALA HARRIS’ TREATMENT OF STAFF UNDER SCRUTINY AS REPORTS OF POOR OFFICE CULTURE RESURFACE

Walz’s 24-year National Guard career has been heavily scrutinized since Vice President Harris announced him as her running mate. Critics have accused Walz of abandoning his unit just before it went to Iraq.

In a statement recently given to Fox News, the Minnesota National Guard said that Walz’s unit was not given deployment orders to Iraq until July, and he had put his retirement papers in five to seven months prior to his retirement in May 2005.

KHAMELEON HARRIS WANTS EVERYBODY TO GO WOKE

A clip of Vice President Kamala Harris from 2017 calling on “everybody” to be “woke” resurfaced on social media, sparking critics and conservatives to lambaste the official Democratic nominee as a “Communist functionary” who is “too radical” to serve as president.

“We have to stay woke. Like everybody needs to be woke. And you can talk about if you’re the wokest or woker, but just stay more woke than less woke,” then-Sen. Harris said in 2017 during Recode’s annual Code Conference, alongside philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, during the conference.

The conference focused on issues such as immigration and the environment, including Harris speaking out against the Trump administration’s drug policies and immigration polices just moments ahead of her call on Americans to be “woke.”

THE CRIMINAL DREAM TEAM DELEGATES DIDN’T GIVE THEM ONE VOTESMOKE FILLED BACK ROOM PUTSCH

Vice President Harris was mocked online for requiring campaign rallygoers to present a government-issued ID upon entry, despite the Democratic presidential nominee opposing voter ID laws.

Ahead of Harris’ rally alongside vice presidential running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in Arizona on Friday, her campaign sent out an email advising that only confirmed RSVPs will be admitted.

The email said those on the RSVP list must present a matching government-issued photo ID in order to be admitted to the venue, KTAR reported.

2024 Columbia University pro-Palestinian campus occupations

The protests began on April 17, 2024, when pro-Palestinian students established an encampment of approximately 50 tents on the university campus, calling it the Gaza Solidarity Encampment, and demanded the university divest from Israel.

Sinwar doesn’t give a fat f..k about civilian deaths, they are all part of the calculus. The more that die, the better the publicity. The Hamas leadership lives in luxury. For decades they have stolen billions, perhaps trillions based on the Fake claim they are impoverished, live in refugee camps and are jobless. They have coordinated their plight with UNWRA, which is another Palestinian surrogate sucking money from the West, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Europe.

The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering total of $11 billion and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar. The emirate has long welcomed the leaders of the terror group and installed them in its luxury hotels and villas at the same time as it hosts a vast American military presence.

Hamas, the terror group responsible for the killing of over 1,400 civilians in southern Israel on October 7, has three top leaders with a combined net worth of $11 billion, the New York Post reported.

These leaders reportedly live in opulence in Qatar, while over two million Gaza City inhabitants dwell in abject poverty.

This has prompted Republican Congressman Andy Ogles to co-sponsor legislation aiming to revoke Qatar’s status as a key US ally unless it expels the Hamas leaders.

In late May, the Israeli parliament passed a bill to designate Unrwa as a “terrorist organization, which would halt its operations in Israel, strip it of immunity, and criminalise its work and staff.

Great P.R. job they have done all on the premise that they wanted a Palestinian state. The road to that state was the killing of all Jews who lived in Israel. Then they would go after the Christians. You see, they didn’t want just Israel, they wanted the World.

Talib must be going bonkers with Biden supplying weapons to Israel

Harris called out for ‘stealing’ signature Trump policy, former president says she won’t actually do it

Vice President Kamala Harris cloned former President Trump’s pledge to eliminate federal taxes on tips paid to workers in restaurants, bars, hotels and others in the service industry.

At a rally on the campus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas on Saturday evening, Harris pledged to fight for “working families of Americans.”

“When I was attorney general of California, we worked together to crack down on wage theft,” she said. “When I was a United States senator, we fought together for paid family leave and medical leave.”

Harris, who received the endorsement of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, promised the droves of service and hospitality workers in Sin City to “eliminate taxes on tips.”

“And earlier this year, right here in Vegas, we celebrated your historic contract win. And it is my promise to everyone here when I am president, we will continue our fight for the working families of America,” Harris said. “Including to raise the minimum wage. And eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.”

Trump was quick to respond on social media, putting Harris on blast for “stealing” his policy.

“Kamala Harris, whose “Honeymoon” period is ENDING, and is starting to get hammered in the Polls, just copied my NO TAXES ON TIPS Policy,” he wrote in a Truth Social post.

NORQUIST: ALL THE REASONS TRUMP’S TAX-FREE TIPS PLAN IS BRILLIANT

“The difference is, she won’t do it, she just wants it for Political Purposes! This was a TRUMP idea – She has no ideas, she can only steal from me,” he said. “Remember, Kamala has proposed the LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN HISTORY – It won’t happen. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

WALZ DONATED $100,000 TO MUSLIM CLERIC WITH LINKS TO THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has reported ties to a Muslim cleric who praised Adolf Hitler online and commended the Islamic terrorist group Hamas for the attacks against innocent Israelis on Oct. 7.

In the last few years, Imam Asad Zaman has used his Facebook page to share official Hamas press releases, blog posts from antisemitic sites and a 2015 link to a pro-Hitler film, “The Greatest Story Never Told.” Released in 2013, the propaganda film is antisemitic and popular among fringe groups, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Walz’s administration has also donated over $100,000 to Zaman’s group, Muslim American Society of Minnesota, according to state records reviewed by the Washington Examiner. Federal prosecutors have described the Muslim American Society as “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.,” according to court records, the outlet first reported.

Designated a terrorist group by the United Arab Emirates in 2014, the Muslim group faced criticism in 2019 when a video emerged of children at a Philadelphia chapter event calling for Jews to be killed.

In reaction to Rep. Katie Porter, D-Calif., condemning the Oct. 7 attack a day later, Zaman asked if she would “reaffirm the right of Palestinians to defend themselves.” Zaman’s Muslim group in a statement on Oct. 7 declared it “reaffirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.”

In May 2023, Zaman attended a mosque security meeting with Walz’s gubernatorial office.

Social media posts reviewed by the Examiner also indicate Zaman participated in a Ramadan event hosted by Walz in May 2019. A recent Washington Free Beacon report also reported Walz’s appearance at a 2019 event with an antisemitic scholar who supports terrorism against Israel.

Zaman, originally from Bangladesh, expressed solidarity with Palestinians for the Hamas-initiated Oct. 7 terrorist attacks on Israelis. He also shared a Palestinian flag image on Facebook in support of a post criticizing the Biden-Harris administration for its stance on Israel.

The imam reportedly participated in a May 2020 event with Walz to advocate for peaceful protests during the Black Lives Matter riots in Minnesota following George Floyd’s death. Previously, in April 2019, Zaman delivered an invocation at Walz’s state address and had called for an end to a government shutdown alongside Walz in January 2019, the Washington Examiner first reported.

The Harris-Walz campaign did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment by press deadline.

1995 DUI Arrest

Walz in past campaigns has sought to downplay his arrest for drunken driving in the mid-90’s, but questions about his run-in with law enforcement continue to dog him. A 2022 report by Alpha News unearthed court records that cast doubt on the version of the story Walz has told on the campaign trail.

On Sept. 23, 1995, when Walz was working as a teacher in his home state of Nebraska, he was pulled over for going 96 mph in a 55-mph zone.

In comments to reporters, Walz’s 2006 campaign for Congress in Minnesota’s 1st District insisted he was “not drunk” and blamed a “misunderstanding” with police on “Walz’s deafness,” which the governor’s then-campaign manager said had since been “surgically corrected.”

But a state trooper’s report obtained by Alpha News contradicts those claims.

“A strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from Mr. Walz[‘s] breath and person,” the report said. The trooper indicated that Walz submitted to and failed both a field sobriety test and a preliminary breath test. He was eventually taken to Chadron Hospital for a blood test before being booked in the Dawes County Jail.

Walz was initially charged with driving under the influence and speeding, but he pled guilty to a single count of reckless driving, according to Aplha News.

MOST AMERICANS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF TIM WALZ, HARRIS’ VP PICK

Black Lives Matter Riots

Walz’s critics say his handling of the Minneapolis riots after the 2020 killing of George Floyd was a failure and low point of his first term as governor.

“[H]e’s been a disaster for Minnesota and is by far the most partisan governor that I can remember having,” Minnesota GOP Chairman David Hann told Fox News Digital. “Going back to 2020, certainly – he did nothing to try to stop the riots going on in Minneapolis. I think he was fearful of alienating his ‘progressive’ base, who were supporting the riots. Kamala Harris was raising money for the rioters.”

Walz deployed the National Guard to stop the violence, which included the torching of a police station. But GOP lawmakers have said both the governor and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey were too slow to act.

Republican state Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka accused Walz of a slow response to the riots, which left businesses in downtown Minneapolis in ruins.

“I called the White House after [four] days of unbridled rioting with the Governor frozen on what to do,” Gazelka wrote on X on July 28. “I know that Gov[.] Walz and Pres[ident] Trump talked. I know Walz finally brought the Guard out in full for the next night. But Walz was [three] days too late. Pressure may have made him move.”

Hann similarly said Walz “waited for three days before he could bring himself to ask for the National Guard to be deployed.” He also pointed to the “defund” police movement’s roots in Minnesota following Floyd’s murder and subsequent rioting in the Twin Cities.

As a result of the delayed action, hundreds of businesses across Minneapolis and St. Paul were devastated by the destruction and had to ask their local government for help recovering – on top of what they lost during pandemic-related closures.

COVID-19 Lockdowns

In his first term as governor, Walz oversaw Minnesota’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like other Democratic leaders, he favored heavy-handed pandemic restrictions, including lockdowns and mask mandates.

The Upper Midwest Law Center unsuccessfully challenged Walz’s 2020 indoor mask mandate on constitutional grounds, but an appellate court sided with Walz.

Walz also set up a hotline to report residents who violated COVID-19 mandates, as FOX 9 Minneapolis reported at the time.2020 riot

Gazelka asked Walz to “please take [the] Hotline down” in a post after it was established, calling the move “unnecessary.”

“We can all show a bit of kindness to our neighbors as we manage our times and needs differently in the stay at home efforts,” the state senator said at the time.

Pandemic Relief Fraud Investigation

In addition to complaints over Walz’s pandemic-era restrictions, Republicans have blamed the governor for lax oversight of pandemic programs that cost millions of taxpayer dollars.

Federal prosecutors charged 70 people with defrauding federal food programs that funded meals for kids during the pandemic out of $250 million on Walz’s watch. Known as the Feeding Our Future scandal, it’s one of the country’s largest pandemic aid fraud cases. The Office of the Legislative Auditor, a nonpartisan watchdog, delivered a scathing report in June that said Walz’s Department of Education “failed to act on warning signs,” did not effectively exercise its authority and was ill-prepared to respond.

Interference in Police Shooting Case

Walz came under fire from Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty earlier this year for his comments on a police shooting case handled by her office.

Moriarty in June dropped the case against Minnesota State Trooper Ryan Londregan, who was accused in the fatal shooting of Black motorist Ricky Cobb II. In a press conference announcing her decision, she made remarks against Walz, saying he had been “very active in inserting himself into this case” and was conflicted since he controls the Minnesota State Patrol, FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul reported.

“Have you ever seen this governor intervene in any case involving a defendant in his entire tenure?” Moriarty said on June 3. “Why is it appropriate for a governor, who has never picked up the phone to call me, who is not a lawyer, who does not understand the nuances of this case, to talk about it publicly? To center Mr. Londregan as being the victim in this case. Why has that been appropriate? Why hasn’t that been called out?”

Walz later told reporters that had Moriarty not dropped the charges against Londregan, he would have used his executive authority to remove her from the case.

“It was my hope that the county attorney would get to this position… At some point, if this decision had not been made, yes we would have done that,” Walz said.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office denied that rumors of Walz’s intention to remove the case affected Moriarty’s decision.
