Mamdani is the canary in the coal mine, elected Mayor of the Rotten Apples. Jews are running for the hills, Wealth is leving quicker than the A train to Brooklyn. They have hitched a ride on the socialist anticapitalist shibboleth, anti Israel Palestinian issue, the Iranian war and the coaslescent of the Black Lives Matter movement. There is no telling what they will do next.
