A HUD sponsored landlord has begun pre-demolition work on a vacant former  housing co-op where it plans to build back 30 affordable apartments.

 A   holding company  formally bought the vacant 30-unit complex   for just over $1.2 million.  

 The  holding company secured $11.1 loan that included a $2,215,500 construction loan and an $8,884,500 permanent loan.

In total each apartment will cost $400,000. The real story here is that irresponsible people will be moving into a Taxpayer funded apartment with all of the toys of a half million dollar house. HEY, TAXPAYER, IS YOU BLOOD PRESSURE RISING? WAIT!

These are the same people who destroyed the apartments in the first place. They are the same folks moving in. True story. This is a ubiquitous narrative across the Inner City trash that has been and is being bought by the liberal radical mongers who control the lever in the infested Democrat run New Jack Cities across America. Bronx teen who was let out of jail only to allegedly commit murder is out again

A Bronx gangbanger who was cut loose by a judge only to allegedly murder an innocent man months later is out of jail again, The Post has learned.Steven Mendez, 17, accused of shooting 21-year-old Saikou Koma in the head during a botched gang hit in Fordham Heights last year, was set free Tuesday when Supreme Court Justice Naita Semaj dismissed the indictment against him, the Bronx District Attorney’s office confirmed.

Semaj gave prosecutors leave to present their case in front of a grand jury, which by law must happen within 45 days. The DA’s office had no further comment.

Koma’s distraught mother, Haja Kaira, told The Post she broke down in tears while streaming Mendez’s court appearance.

“When I hear the judge say, ‘Release him.’ To be honest, I had to stand up,” Kaira said. “I could not believe it. I said out loud, ‘What! Release him?!’”

 

Judge dismisses murder charge against bodega clerk who claimed self-defense in fatal stabbing

A Manhattan judge dismissed a murder charge Tuesday against a bodega worker who fatally stabbed a man earlier this month in what the worker’s legal team argued was a case of self-defense.

Jose Alba, 61, had been charged with second-degree murder in the killing Austin Simon, 35, on the night of July 1. Surveillance video of their confrontation shows Simon came behind the bodega counter and shoved Alba, who then grabbed a knife and stabbed Simon multiple times.

Alba’s attorneys had argued that he acted in self-defense, noting the size and age difference between the two men.

A Manhattan parking garage attendant who was shot twice while confronting an alleged thief at his business was charged with murder after wrestling away the weapon and using it to fire at the suspect.

The nightside worker, Moussa Diarra, 57, was slapped with assault and criminal possession of a weapons charges in the Saturday incident, which occurred at around 5.30am.

The attendant saw a man peering into the car windows on the second floor of the West 31st Street garage, reported the New York Post.

Diarra lunged for the gun and it went off, leaving him with a stomach wound and an ear graze before he was able to turn the firearms on the alleged thief and shoot him in the chest.

The culprit, Charles Rhodie, 59, was also charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, in addition to burglary, according to police.

The charges against Diarra have left many confused and livid, as they are reminiscent of the case against Manhattan bodega clerk Jose Alba, who was charged with murder following a fatal confrontation on July 1 with an angry customer who accosted him.

A family friend of Diarra’s was irate: ‘That’s self-defense. The guy tried to rob his business. Why DA want to charge him with attempted murder?’ said Mariame Diarra, of no relation to the attendant.

‘He’s there for security. That’s literally his job, to defend his business … He takes his job seriously … Attempted murder charge has no place there,’ she continued. ‘He [the robber] came to find him at his job with his gun, he [the attendant] has to defend himself.’

AOC says she may draft Clarence Thomas impeachment article if no one else does

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., renewed her calls for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be impeached after a report detailed the justice’s close relationship with a billionaire Republican donor — going so far as to say she will introduce articles of impeachment herself.

In comments made on the “Lever Time” podcast Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez said Thomas’ position on the court is an “emergency” and a “crisis,” and reiterated her full support for removing him.

When asked if she would introduce the articles of impeachment herself, the New York lawmaker said she would step up if no one else does.

“Congress is out of session for the next week. And so that does give Democrats some time to strategize, and the way I feel about it is that, I do think articles need to be introduced,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

Democrats have expressed outrage at Thomas because of his wife’s conservative political activities and, most recently, a report that claimed the justice has received lavish gifts from a GOP mega-donor and never disclosed them.

A ProPublica investigation found that Thomas’ close friendship with real estate developer Harlan Crow allowed him to accompany the Texas billionaire on luxury vacations on his private jet and yacht, as well as enjoy free stays on Crow’s vast vacation property, among other perks. He reportedly failed to disclose the vast majority of Crow’s gifts.

In a statement Friday, Thomas described Harlan and Kathy Crow as “among our dearest friends.”

“As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them,” Thomas said. “Early in my tenure at the Court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable.”

What is so special about GOLD? Why has it endured in times of war, political upheaval and economic turbulence? What is money and how does one value it? These are questions that “time” has answered.

Countries have gone to war over gold, pillaged, robbed, murdered and savaged unsuspecting peoples. If printing paper was money, why seek gold in the first place? “TRUST” in government is the number one priority of a stable currency; without trust, citizens resort to the accumulation of precious metals; this is to secure their wealth. Governments have tried to prevent citizens from holding gold, but in the end they all have failed.

And now world governments sit on the precipice of massive inflation, one which there is no viable solution. Trillions upon trillions of dollars have been printed by world governments since March 2020. The continuation of printing continues without interruption; a runaway freight train that can’t be stopped. Revolution or War is the end result.

World governments have seen this show before. They were all socialist in nature. For instance some were on our southern border, for instance Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil; burning investors over and over again.

Citizens around the world have learned from past experience that the devaluation of money through printing, let’s call currency money as an academic illustration to make a point, is outright theft by government. So, to ward off the devaluation of their wealth, they resort to the purchase of gold, silver, platinum, palladium; they trust no one accept themselves when it comes to protecting their wealth. Therefore, it is imperative that citizens take note of what is happening in currency markets today. The dollar has been devalued in terms of gold which has risen by over $600 during the past five years.

World currencies are being devalued en masse, they are no longer a stable source of money when compared to real money, that is GOLD. We have not seen the ultimate collapse yet, but rest assured it is not too far off. Its UGLY HEAD HAS BEEN RAISED, CPI UP 5.4%.

What will trigger this BLACK SWAN EVENT is an out of nowhere SUPER surge in inflation. Think of prices rising by 10% in an instant, reminiscent of the Weimar Republic. For this to occur is not out of the realm of possibility.

First it was salt, then spice, then paper, but in the end it was gold. They tried them all, as they say, “you can fool some of the people, some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.” And it has come to pass, the “ALMIGHTY DOLLAR” is slowly dissolving like the piece of paper it is printed on. Don’t take our word for it though, check the status of soon to be reserve currencies, like the Chinese renminbi (aka yuan) or perhaps the Russian ruble. Don’t despair, the cryptocurrency world is at your fingertips. If that doesn’t suit you, GO FOR THE GOLD, but SILVER will do just fine. To those of the initiated, they know where the price is headed, and that is north. The everlasting obituary is premature, the body has not been declared mortal. And as the eternal rays provide life to all, the man who has gold in his hand will endure for a lifetime.

Gold has been on a tear of late, rising from the mid 1700’s to the 1840 level. The sign of inflation is in the air. A whiff of the third quarter numbers will reveal what is in the black box. Our guess, and it is only a guess, we are not economists, places the number at 3.5%. You can’t keep a good man down, can you. The second quarter won’t be that horrible though, somewhere in the 2.5% range. Don’t forget that the Biden team has their thumb on the scale. And to make a salient point, economists are always right, it is the timing that is wrong. BTW, they have predicted 8 of the last 4 recessions. Batting 50% is a admirable achievement in most sports.

Billionaire investor Sam Zell is also now buying gold, despite decades of criticizing those who purchase it, reports ETF Trends. Zell says it is because these monetary policies may create inflation like the 1970s and gold could be a hedge.
