Hillary Admits Support for Legislation to Kill Gun Industry

By Dave Dolbee published on in News

There is no chance of burying the lead in this story. Hillary Clinton has vowed to support legislation to kill the gun industry.

I am not here to advocate for one political party over another or one particular politician for President. The Shooter’s Log is about firearms, survival/prepping, hunting, etc. However, if you believe in the Second Amendment, hunting, and firearms, you really need to step up and pay attention to Hillary Clinton’s latest proclamation against your rights.

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton is owing legislation to kill the gun industry.

Hillary is the Democratic frontrunner and in all likelihood going to be the Democratic Nominee. Recently, on her website, she proudly stated, “Hillary will lead the charge to repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.” The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) is the law that protects manufacturers and retailers from being sued when a product is used in a criminal act. Hillary’s statement leaves absolutely no doubt that her agenda is to give those who would seek to take away your Second Amendment rights, as you know them, everything they need. The number of suits, and costs to fight each suit would quickly bankrupt the manufacturers and retailers.

Of course, this is not much of a surprise—just a window in into one of the ways she plans to eliminate your right to bear arms. On the campaign trail, Hillary has repeatedly brought up the subject bragging about being more anti-gun than Sanders (Example 1 and Example 2 of many). Likewise, Sanders has claimed he believes the families of crime victims should be allowed to sue gunmakers).

While she is open (to a point) about wanting to shut down the firearms industry, she is “less than honest” about the issue in general. On her campaign website, Clinton claims the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) is, “a dangerous law that prevents victims of gun violence from holding negligent manufacturers and dealers accountable for violence perpetrated with their guns.” Moreover, in campaign appearances, Clinton claims the firearms industry is “the only industry in America, the only one, that has this kind of special protection.”

What?

You could say Hillary is a liar, but she isn’t stupid. When Hillary goes out on the stump or publishes on her website, claiming the law doesn’t protect “negligent manufacturers and dealers,” or her claim that the firearms industry is “wholly protected from any kind of liability,” These are absolute falsehoods—some would say outright lies meant to mislead the lower information voter.

A dealer who sells a gun to someone he or she knows is a prohibited person—or even suspects that the person will use it to commit a crime—is not only still negligent and thus not protected from lawsuits, but is also subject to felony prosecution under federal law. The passage of PLCAA didn’t negate or limit any liability in these types of scenarios. It was merely akin to saying you cannot sue Ford because someone drove drunk in a car it manufactured and then killed someone. The misuse of the product is not the fault of the manufacturer or the retailer, nor is it a flawed design that would result in liability.

HILLARY CLINTON THE ANTAGONIST IS GETTING A BIT OF HER OWN MEDICINE

Why is Hillary Clinton going yellow pants? She has seen the latest poll. On no not the poll vs Sanders or Trump for that matter. The poll she has seen is the one which says how many Sanders voters will cast their ballot for her in the general election.

In Connecticut for example, only 10%; that has caused alarm in her camp. To her dismay she is finding out that not many people really like the chronological liar. Sanders voters are very much aware of Hillary’s track record, one of lies, deceit, collusion and even murder. You know what they say, “what goes around comes around.”

Could it be that Hillary is getting a bit of her own medicine. So even if she is the nominee, the FBI not withstanding, Hillary will once again feel the BERN.

In Connecticut, 17 percent of Democrats said they would not back Clinton if she’s the nominee. Among Sanders’ supporters, the number shot up to 90 percent.

In Maryland, 13 percent of Democrats said they would not back Clinton in November, while 79 percent of Sanders’ supporters made the same vow.

Sanders vows to fight on; this has infuriated the Hillary camp. However, it is has to be seen in the light of this very anomaly type year. Clinton faced no opposition two years ago, now she had to fight for every vote. Things turned upside down, so did many Democrat voters, particularly the young. They do not like the Lying Clinton. Hillary doesn’t play fair, this is an insiders game – Sanders knows this very will. For Hillary has wrapped up the Super Delegates, this is a thorn in Sanders side which motivates him to hold on. “Hey, if she is a thorn in my side I will do likewise. See you at the convention.” That’s Sanders thinking alright.

SO THE TRUTH FINALLY COMES OUT

Ted Cruz’s wife says that Ted is “an immigrant.”

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has battled allegations his entire presidential campaign that he is ineligible to run for the White House because he was born outside the U.S.

While the most vocal critic has been rival candidate Donald Trump, it now appears that Cruz’s wife, Heidi, is joining the fray … albeit unintentionally

UPDATE: PUERTO RICO – NO MORE – A HAVEN FOR THE WELFARE MAVEN

The spendthrift government of Puerto Rico failed to make a $370,000,000 interest payment today; their excuse, we don’t have the money. That’s a lie, one of many that have come from the Governor’s mouth. What they don’t tell you is that the money is there, but they do not want to pay their creditors because the parasitic government worker will go bananas. After living high off the hog, the union nincompoops are livid that the possibility of a salary cut is in the offing.

Don’t forget that Puerto Rico is a scam socialist paradise of the highest order.  They say that making the payment will cut government service; not so. What they don’t want to cut are salaries of people who are on a siesta all day; the ones who vote for the politician who will give them the most money – Democrats mind you.

Make it your business to call your Senator and Congressman and tell them in no uncertain terms that bailing out Puerto Rico will put their job in jeopardy. Maybe they will understand this language.

Most Americans have fond memories of Puerto Rico, either from visiting the island or the magistical lore portrayed by the many novelists who described its inner beauty . However, what was once was is no more; the island is suffering a devastating financial crisis, a major tsunami of debt is in the process of drowning what is left of the once invincible island; think of a $72 billion debt wall which will bring it down. However, those who have borrowed don’t have any remorse, they are blaming those who loaned them the money. Talk about chutzpah.

Vultures. People who lent Puerto Rico money and now expect to be paid are being portrayed as greedy vultures.

But Puerto Rico’s $70 billion debt crisis isn’t just a battle between New York hedge funds and a cash-strapped little island. As you see Puerto Rico is on a collision course with destiny.

Senators in Puerto Rico say they will not approve an amended bill that would exclude certain bonds issued by the government from a debt moratorium.

A caucus of senators from Puerto Rico’s ruling party said Tuesday that the bill is not consistent with the $70 billion debt restructuring that the U.S. territory is seeking from Congress.

Puerto Rico received more than $6.5 billion annually in federal aid from the United States. A substantial portion of this amount is earmarked for public welfare, including funding educational programs (such as Head Start), subsidized housing programs (such as (Section 8 and public housing projects), and a food stamp system called the Nutrition Assistance for Puerto Rico program.

DEAD BEAT GOES BANKRUPT – AND THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER HOLDS THE BAG

Puerto Rico (The Rich Port) has given notice that the island will default on $37 million in debt due this week. This will set the stage for debt consolidation where the creditors unwillingly take a haircut.Flag of Puerto Rico

How did such a beautiful place get into debt in the first place; simply put the politicians borrowed their way to fame. Over the past two decades the ruthless scoundrels that they are borrowed, borrowed and borrowed some more showering the people with free goodies. The problem here though is simple, the people in Puerto Rico don’t have jobs, so how could they ever pay the money back. But this was no concern to the Governors, they were only worried about their reelection.

PUERTO RICO – FOOD STAMP NATION

One third – 33% of Puerto Rico’s population is on food stamps costing the United States over $2 billion per year.  Puerto Rico had a higher public assistance participation rate (5.9 percent) than the national average (2.9 percent), this means that twice as many per capita receive welfare. For those who stay, rich welfare benefits provide a disincentive to work. A household of three can receive $1,743 per month in food stamps, Medicaid, utility subsidies and welfare compared to minimum-wage take-home pay of $1,159. Employers are required to provide 15 days of vacation and 12 sick days annually and a $600 Christmas bonus. Government employees make up a quarter of the island’s workforce.

A more appropriate name should be Puerto Welfare.

PUERTO RICO THE SOCIALIST PARADISE OF THE CARIBBEAN DROWNING IN DEBT

The Greek debacle has been the focus of late on its on again-off again debt restructuring, but that doesn’t mean that the troubles in Puerto Rico are playing second fiddle. Puerto Rico is on the hook for close to $100 billion. That is a boat load of pina coladas. SoBe Smooth Pina Colada Drink - 20-Fl. Oz. Bottles (Pack of 12)Just in case you haven’t been initiated in the Puerto Rico way of doing business we bring you their number one life saver, welfare and social security.  Puerto Rico is a disability fraud paradise. The top 10 U.S. zip codes tied to people receiving disability benefits, nine are in Puerto Rico. Flag of Puerto Rico

The sharks are circling the waters in the hope of default if and when it happens. The rich island has a dark journey ahead, tourism is in the tank, the economy is in a perpetual depression, drugs are rampant and most of all the government will not do what needs to be done; cut bait.

But Puerto Rico is part of the United States and is a metaphor for liberal bastions like Illinois and Connecticut, both drowning  the sea of debt. Utmost on the minds of the Puerto Rican is not the rising sea levels, but their share of the islands IOU’s. By the way, in case you didn’t notice, Puerto Rico has a population similar to Connecticut, 3,5 million or simply put a debt of $22,000 for each of its citizens. And true to form the Commonwealth’s economy has slowly reached the point of no return being sucked down by a giant whirlpool that not even Captain Nemo can save.Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne

CRUZ HITS THE WALL AT INDY

Putting the hammer down, Ted Cruz took his last gasp of air in order to save his imploding campaign. Victory is out of reach, but he had little choice; greasing his team with a female fatale was the last thing on anyone’s mind. Definition (an attractive and seductive woman, especially one who will ultimately bring disaster to a man who becomes involved with her). And  it turns out her addition to the team will be responsible for a collision of his own doing.

Tomorrow, Cruz will hit Indy’s brick wall in turn number one. The pole sitter, Donald Trump, will roar on to victory lane, crowds cheering frantically as they get a glimpse of the next President of the United States.\

“LYING TED CRUZ” – NEW FOX POLL OUT – TRUMP CRUZING TO VICTORY

Senator Ted Cruz knows the truth, a Harvard graduate with a Juris Doctor degree. Cruz was also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught U.S. Supreme Court litigation. Ted Cruz was born in Calgary Canada to an American citizen mother and to a Cuban born father with Canadian citizenship. This leads us to the Constitution.

Reading the following paragraph, it is up to you to ascertain the eligibility or non-eligibility of CRUZ to be the President of the United States.

Qualifications for the Office of President

Age and Citizenship requirements – US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident .

The preceding rendering is crystal clear, spelling out in clear unadulterated English the eligibility requirements for President. Note, where it says “or a citizen of the United States, as the time of the adoption of this Constitution”, this clearly implies that one seeking the highest office in the Land must be today a Natural Born Citizen which conclusively means, “BORN IN THE UNITED STATES.” Why would it add “or……?”

The aforementioned Article needs to be litigated now, the record must be set straight; The Supreme Court must determine with clarity the eligibility requirements once and for all. If not frauds perpetrated on the American people will continue.

Ted Cruz knows in his heart that he is NOT ELIGIBLE to be President. There is no two ways about it.

BREAKING NEWS

A few minute before midnight, Christine Stuart of CTNewsJunkie.com reported

Malloy To Reporters: Budget Negotiations ‘Are Hitting A Wall’

The following is an excerpt.   Democratic legislative leaders just came up with a budget proposal on Thursday that addressed a $920 million budget deficit. “That deficit grew an additional $40 million on Friday after revenue figures were released following April tax collections.   Malloy said his team agreed to stay at the negotiating table until noon Saturday to reach a settlement “but it’s clear for me that that’s not going to happen.” He said Democratic legislative leaders are treating this like a revenue issue when it’s “a revenue issue and a spending issue.”

At 8:10 PM, Christine Stuart had reported that

Revenues Fall Short Leaving 2016 and 2017 Budgets In The Red

Noting that – April tax revenues did not come in as anticipated Friday, which means this year’s deficit will grow to about $256 million and the 2017 budget is $960 million in the red.

Office of Policy and Management Secretary Ben Barnes said most of the revenue shortfall the state is experiencing is related to declining income tax collections. Read more at Revenues Fall Short Leaving 2016 and 2017 Budgets In The Red »

Let’s take a look at what has transpired on the Hill in Hartford  within the past few days.

STUDENT AID FOR UNDOCUMENTED ILLEGAL RESIDENTS

The recent vote by State Senate Democrats will have a chilling impact on some legally registered Connecticut students who will be denied access to the taxpayer funded $40 million dollar financial aid pool.   Their denial will be usurped by undocumented immigrants who will now be allowed access to the pool.

Act SB-147 entitled AN ACT ASSISTING STUDENTS WITHOUT LEGAL IMMIGRATION STATUS WITH THE COST OF COLLEGE was assessed by the Office of Fiscal Analysis which wrote “The bill results in no fiscal impact to the constituent units of higher education as it does not alter the total amount provided for institutional aid. “The bill does result in a potential redistribution of such aid to recipients”. Their opinion can be accessed at analysts report.

It is interesting to note that Republican Senator Art Linares from Westbrook, CT’s Senate’s only Hispanic would have voted ‘no’ on aid to undocumented students as reported by CTMirror.org as “opening the financial aid pool would crowd out legal residents”.  Linares further stated “I am very concerned about our current financial situation,” when addressing the near $1 billion state deficit in the upcoming fiscal year. “We have to solve those problems first before we take on additional burdens that would create additional stress on other residents.”

Former CEO of McDonald’s: $15 Minimum Wage Will Cost Jobs
Jon Miltimore is the Senior Editor of Intellectual Takeout, Follow him on Facebook and Twitter.  | April 25, 2016

Ed Rensi, the former president of McDonald’s USA, wrote an article that appeared in Forbes in which he argued that raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour could cost about a million jobs in limited service restaurants.

Rensi, who worked at McDonald’s for three decades before he became Chief Executive Officer, made three key points: 1) A $15 minimum wage would eat up 75 percent of the profit for a typical McDonald’s franchise owner; 2) Franchise owners would be compelled to shift to automated kiosks to protect their bottom line; 3) the job losses would primarily impact young workers.

UC Berkeley last week offered a real-life case study on this very topic.  Continue reading at ….. http://www.intellectualtakeout.org/blog/former-ceo-mcdonalds-15-minimum-wage-will-cost-jobs

UC Berkeley Touts $15 Wage Law, Then Fires Hundreds … Of Workers After It Passes

Labor Markets: Hundreds of employees at the University of California at Berkeley are getting schooled in basic economics, as the $15 minimum wage just cost them their jobs. Too bad liberal elites “fighting for $15” don’t get it.

A week after California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the state’s $15 minimum wage boost into law, UC Berkeley ChancellorNicholas Dirks sent a memo to employees announcing that 500 jobs were getting cut.

This has been a tumultuous year for Connecticut taxpayers.  Governor Malloy and our State Legislature have been on a spending spree with taxpayer dollars yet it appears that only now they have come to the realization that the state is broke.  Worse than that – the State’s high debt and deficits have rating agencies questioning the financial stability of our state as Most Wall Street agencies have ‘negative outlook’ on CT … as noted by CTMirror.org.

In an article captioned The 10 Worst “Sinkhole States” in America | Wolf Street written in March, 2015 it is noted that “The taxpayer burdens in Connecticut and Illinois weigh over twice as much on each of their respective taxpayers as the burden in California”.

REPEAT OF SEPTEMBER 2015 BLOG – HYPERINFLATION IN THE WINGS – IN GOLD WE TRUST

GO FOR THE GOLD

Gold is once again on the rise. The pundits can’t nor are they willing to understand the attraction to gold;  steadfast has it been in an island of global turmoil. Uncertain on what will happen have caused many to insure themselves with the metal.

What have the naysayers missed? One wonders why they even mention gold at all. And the volcanic rise of Trump, Sanders and Carson, not to mention Carly Fiorina who would have thought. The pundits failed to miss their rise too. Americans are fed up with the Boehners, McConnells, Reids, Pelosis, Clintons and Bushes of the world. They are plain old ready for a revolution. teapartylogoredThe boxes of tea in our logo have names on them, Democrats, The Fed, Public Unions, Big Government and entitlements. Yes, Americans are FED UP with do good politicians who only care about getting reelected.

We tell you what, America and the world is in turmoil. The socialists thugs running the paper printing scam are now worried about the next three years, we would not be surprised if some of them commit suicide. They are desperate to find a solution when none except gold exists. They have dug their own grave and now will reap the benefit of disastrous monetary policies over the past 45 years.

February Blog Entry:

PAPER TIGERS – IN GOLD WE TRUST –

During the past six months we have tried to educate the sceptics that the United States dollar is not worth the paper it is printed on.  The likes of Goldman-Sachs (with a name like Goldman, why would they be bearish on Gold – very confusing to us) forecast a $1000 ounce of gold, others saw an implosion to $500, not so fast says the market. When Goldman speaks people listen or do they? Today gold mounted a robust rally closing over $50 higher as it continues to close in on $1250 per ounce. In the last 30 days gold was as good as gold rising over $150.

To the naysayers out there, look what is happening in the world; in one word it is defined as TURMOIL. Globally people have lost confidence in their leaders – why do you thing Trump is doing so well and on the other side, Hillary the Liar, her momentum stopped dead in New Hampshire. Oh don’t worry she says, we are going South and the FBI, me worry. A little kick-ass by that Sanders fellow in the Palmetto State may be in the cards. Talking about the cards, Hillary then heads for Nevada – Ok Harry Reid is going to be shoveling the manure for Hillary, but what good will that do. Sanders may have a trick or two up his sleeve.

Anyway you look at it, oil tanking, zero interest rates and in some cases negative rates, one would think boom times are here. The average family is saving at least $1000 a year on gas, plus oil and natural gas to heat the abode. Doesn’t seem they are too anxious to spend the savings though. Europe on edge, suicide bombers perfecting their craft, Syria going down in flames. Latin America’s bargain with the devil is not working out so well; just ask the people in Venezuela. And we forgot to mention the dictator in North Korea, shooting his mouth off again. Guess he figures that do to his lack of manhood he would shoot off a missile. Lot of good that did.

Keep your hopes up, things can only get better.  The higher gold goes the worse it will be for the status quo. Remember, the Central Banks were set up by politicians to print money ostensibly to feed their minions, this became the loop for reelection; it continues today. Once the printing stops, the true revolution begins, the free-loaders will no longer be in control, but the men/women of conscince and integrity will once again rule. Work will be rewarded not the other way around.
